Interesting Conversation between Lawman and MSW

When Sunbeam and I discuss a social ethical problem we view it from different perspectives. I am a law enforcement officer, but I want the law to be applied with as much common sense and deference as possible. Sunbeam expects certain norms to be respected as a condition for residence.

We had a interesting conversation about West African immigrants. West African countries have similar problems, but differ in degree. For example people from Ghana are less apt to have linguistic problems or practice polygamy than those from Mali. HIV in Mali probably is not as great a problem as it is in Nigeria.

In general I am a social libertarian. I really don't want the government in anyone's bedroom. I want people to respect the laws or at least have the common sense not to
flaunt its violation.

The question is what should the government do if anything about naturalized citizens who practice polygamy. I favor the NYC style of treating the families need without passing judgment. Sunbeam favors a more interventionist do not admit them in the first place. She is also in favor of family unity in whatever country of origin they
wish to practice polygamy. She does favor treating the children and women to needed social services. The French approach is more coercive where women are offered subsidized apartments provided they leave their husbands and are encouraged to divorce their husbands. She understands this approach and is far more sympathetic to it than I am.

I am reluctant to have the government decide whose practices are correct. I can envision a future where Chasidic women are viewed as persecuted due to the culture of arranged marriages and dress. This is also why I am very respectful when religious attire becomes obtrusive. The current policy is to have a female officer check the identity of women under religious garb that makes identification impossible. When this problem presented itself I also asked the subject if he would feel more comfortable with a female officer and was told no you are respectful. Switching officers is a lightning rod topic and is frowned upon. We have had cases where people ask for officers of another race, gender and ethnicity. These requests
are turned down as the applicant is reminded about respecting our traditions and the process.

Best Night of My Life

Sunbeam is a domestic goddess and prepared the most special evening for me. She caught me by surprise as I have always been the romantic one. If we think back of our
own lives there are always one or two people who loved us from afar. I have alway loved her and never forgot about how special she was. Most people can not compette
with dreams, but Sunbeam exceeds them in every way.

I am a very lucky man and I count my blessings each and every day. I work amongst the
fake, the lost, the clueless, the useless and somethimes I see the hopeful. Every week I see at least four childhood sweethearts or stories of a romance between family
friends or a siblings friend. I guess my situation is not quite as unique as I thought.

Common Place Jooo Hatred

Some of you have seen the story about a UK official who went postal in a gym. In general people should try to control themselves in public. However, this imbecile went on a tirade about killing Jews and Israelis. The reason Laxton felt so comfortable is that he probably went to a far left college, works in an agency staffed almost entirely
with the same far left types and probably socializes with all far left types.

I would like to say it is different in the USA. However, it depends on who the alleged
perpetrator is. If the statements are about Jews forget it. If the statements are about gays forget it. The system as designed now seems to be more of a tool by management trying to punish certain workers or workers using a political agenda than a coherent policy.

The entire matter should be handled with sanity, seriousness and skill. However, the comments of Laxton are a product of life in a monoculture.

A Beakerambo Update

Inquiring minds want to know what has happened to the much abused mascot of this blog Beakerambo. When we last left off Beakerambo had been accepted as the new student at Hogwarts. He was known for his proficiency in Professor Beamish's applied demolition course and his overall clumsiness.

Beakerambo is now at work on yet another new film. He plays mutant 3 in the new Wolverine film other wise known as Wolverbeaker.

As the Apologists Lie

The truth about anti semitism and persecution of professionals in Hugo's madhouse becomes more blatant each day. His apologists would have you believe that the scores of people fleeing tyranny have nothing better to do than make up lies. These were highly successful people who should be the back bone of the economy. Instead they are harassed because the political abomination requires an other to rationalize its failures. The true believers will get some spoils but the loss of merchants and professionals ultimately does as much damage as oil price falls.

The apologists for Chavez were predicting he could defy the laws of economics and have a cyclical commodity rise linearly. As we have seen this is not the case. Anyone with basic competence in economics would have known this. Commies by nature of their low IQ failed to get this yet again. Have no fear the apologists will name another savior to replace Chavez and another and another.

It is time for the rest of us to get in the face of the traitorous apologists for a hostile regime. It just happens that everywhere communists set up shop the Jews suffer from their bigoted delusions. The problems repeated in several countries can not be laid at the feet of one source.

Don't Hold Your Breath

Now that we are in a recession it is time to take on big education. The costs of higher ed are going through the roof. It is time to demand Universities do their jobs and eliminate all loans for degrees that do not lead directly to a job. If you want a degree in gender or peace studies do it on your own dime. The core curriculum of all Colleges accepting student loans should have a business base. Lets see is anthropology more useful than accounting to a job applicant.

We should also eliminate social science research. Let Marxist hacks publish worthless scholarship on their own dime.

The costs of higher ed is going to make on line education a viable alternative. Maybe Universities as we know it will be finished in ten years. The poster boys for what is wrong with American Universities are Ayers, Churchill and Chomsky.

Not Wrong

People who read this blog often get the wrong impression. While it is true that I am against Communism in all forms I am for sound regulation of business.

The recent scandals in business point to the dire need for governmental review of business. Left unregulated some businessmen will act criminally. Their is something wrong with a system that treats a buffoon like Madoff differently than a bank robber.
Let white collar vermin sit right in with drug dealers in a harsh lock up. No more country club prisons for these parasites.

I also am too familiar with employees of public corporations using corporate cards for hookers, drugs and lavish lifestyles. This behavior should be criminal even in private companies with bank loans.

Those of you familiar with this blog know that I spent years in the fashion industry where I witnessed all types of malfeasance. These corporations were private companies
but were heavily leveraged by banks making this type of activity criminal. I actually went on a job interview where the owner of the company asked me if I would
object to picking up his cocaine. The entire chain of delivery from suppliers to distribution is rife with graft.

My ire was reserved for the owners who complain about labor costs and expense lavish lifestyles on the company. One former owner complained about greedy union labor seeking $1.50 an hour raises. This same corporate skank expensed hundred dollar massages, limos to go eight blocks, monthly trips unrelated to business and bottle after bottle of booze on the company. Predictably when the company failed it was the fault of the union labor. Predictably, the same banks lent the same dolt money to fail a second or third time.

Obama is correct about limiting compensation to companies that get Federal bailouts.
However, the time has come to place teeth into agencies regulating business. The days of benign neglect and pretending business can regulate itself need to end.

Valentine's day the bane of every clueless guy

There is a day most of us guys dread it is the most uncomfortable pressure filled event of the year. The truth is that chances are you will disappoint that special person. For women who are unattached it is a reminder of their loneliness.

Option One

Flowers. Flowers normally cost an arm and a leg. I have seen $130 dollars for a dozen roses. Sunbeam is way too practical and told me no way. For that amount of money we could buy groceries for a week. I have bought one rose at a time, but we need a better
vase.

Flowers also die and leave you nothing.

Option two chocolates

This often results in hey dude are you trying to make me fat.

Actually, I did buy Sunbeam a Hersey Kisses set that comes in a wonderful tin that doubles as a candy dish. I thought she would enjoy the decorative tin more than the chocolates. I was surprised that Godiva apparently is kosher and bought a very small amount for her.

Option three Lingerie

Not a good idea at all. If you get the wrong size you may get beaned. If the outfit is too ahem slutty you get beaned. You might get beaned for sending the wrong message that all I you think about is sex.

Ladies you can actually learn a lot by walking with your guy into the lingerie section of a department store.

Option four Jewelry

This is a personal item and I am somewhat leery. I did pick out a very nice item that Sunbeam likes. A locket is usually safer than other items.

Option five

Fancy Resturant

Are usually very crowded on Valentine's day and most gouge the customers.

Perfume

Probably safe if you know what she likes but don't be cheap.

Lastly the part I personally dread picking out the card. You must send the right message at all times.

I would love there to be a regular heterosexual man day. It would be much easier than Valentines day on women. It would probably involve domestic beer, chips, something fried and football. That sounds like a good Superbowl party.

The latest odd fashionable term for American Indians is First Americans. These odd terms are used by Bolshevik academic parasites whose sole encounter with American Indians was probably limited to a casino trip or watching Mazola commercials.

American Indians are one of the few groups NYC residents do not encounter. Thus my frame of reference was defined by idiotic anthropology professors. I was socialized to consider Indian a slur equivalent to the dreaded N word. Imagine my surprise when I visited Bad Eagle's site and learned the preferred term is Indian.

Beak on Poverty Dignity and Human Nature

I seldom talk about my life and career path.I meandered through many different paths and at one point was considering pursuing a degree in Psychology leading to either law school or an MSW. The first set of classes were real fun, but the further along I got the more disillusioned I got with the field. A certain familiar group of parasites has infiltrated what should be a noble calling and has politicized and perverted it into a politically and socially damaging shameful craft.

I began to question the entire profession and no doubt there are a few good ones out there and many situations where it helps. There is an almost entrenched effort by some to declare all forms of male behavior abnormal. I was subjected to unsubstantiated idiocy such as a presentation where a speaker said "All males are potential rapists".My response was that potential is meaningless unless it is followed. The speaker was a self actualized asshole and were such comments directed at women the speaker would have been censured. Among the other classics was marriage is a form of prostitution.Men invented marriage to control women. The notion of bringing up children in a stable family unit was termed paternalism.

Life interfered with my studies as I met a woman and fell deeply in love. It was apparent that she would not earn much so I shifted focus to a business degree. I was still planning to go to law school but my girlfriend could not handle being made to wait more time. Before I graduated Wall Street crashed and the jobs that were supposed to be there were gone. I was cast adrift without a plan to the winds of fate and ended up in the fashion industry.

I am studying with Sunbeam the texts for her MSW classes. One book is entirely political with sweeping generalizations written by a Marxist dolt. What relevance does Reagan's alleged paranoia about Communists have to do with learning the skills required to be an effective social worker. FYI The communists were actually Stalinists beholden to a genocidal mass murder and a hostile foreign power. There are other passages about immigration policy, global warming and political analysis.
This material is actually poorly written Marxist propaganda that would not survive even the most routine critical scrutiny.

I am not the type to be subjected to this type of atrocity and remain silent. Perhaps I am where I belong as a law enforcement officer. Sadly, much of the policies and training material is written by the same University garbage as the books
Sunbeam has to read. It is important to respect diversity, gender and orientation in and outside of the workplace. Yet the reality is that the rules and procedures are abused in a witch hunt manner at times by opportunists. Two men talking about motor oil and car parts is normal, but to a militant was termed creating a hostile work atmosphere. Questioning if a 53 year old woman gave birth in a third world country known for polygamy was termed racism by the same crew.

Sorry for the Gap in Posts

There has been an abnormally heavy work. I am still with Sunbeam who amazes me more every day. I am lucky such a beautiful and kind woman is interested in me. I treasure our moments together and she makes me happier than I ever felt in my life. I always wanted to be with her and she is even better than anything I ever dreamed of. She made a wonderful pot dish with beef and barley. My blood pressure and weight is way down and I generally do not eat beef or poultry. I love them but keeping my weight down as well as trying to get closer to kosher are important.

The cast of characters is the same. The Princess and I have not spoken for well over two weeks. Cafeteria food was not good enough for her when I was fetching. Now it has become acceptable as she is paying for her food. She desperately wants some contact but my door is always closed. The vegan is a good friend who is genuinely happy for me. I like her as a person and hopes she finds someone to make her happy. M is still sweet and desperately trying to lose weight. She is trying my diet but it does not look good but it is better than before. For her this weight loss is a matter of life or death as she has had one stroke already. J is an amazing person who
is the company gossip. I will be with Drummaster and Rav Roov for the Superbowl. I chose not to hang with the coworkers as they tend to get smashed and do things that were never appropriate for me.

The Mideast Mess

The truth is the mideast is the way it is because certain people need it so. There could be peace tomorrow if the following truths were known.

1 There is not nor were there ever any Palestinians. There are Arab refugees who are in fact colonial invaders with a lengthy colonial history. That being said Egypt and Jordan are responsible parties that should make workable agreements. Certain land on the West bank should be retained by Israel and there needs to be some population transfer.

2 Certain thuggish Muslim countries need Israel as the other to justify their brutal
control. Syria is a Marxist mess run by an Alawite clique that is 12% of the population. Iran also plays the Israel card to bolster its popularity.

3 Communists need Israel so that they can stoke populist anti-semitism and form grand
aliances with jihadis, Nazis and other freaks.

The truth is that certain people benefit from the current situation and require a perpetuation of the status quo.

Still the Same

Those of you reading this over the last two months are probably wondering what happened to Beakerkin. I am still the same man with the same opinions and humor, just there is a lot less of me these days.

I have known Sunbeam for well over thirty years. She was always a very special person who I have had very deep feelings of love for. Growing up one could always tell she was loving and giving. When I heard her name again it took me seconds to contact her. At first I did not want to meet her because I do not look like I did when she last remembered me.

In college I was a very good looking man who did not lack for attention. In many ways
this hurt me as a person because too many opportunities were available. I fell in love with the wrong person and drifted through a series of bad relationships.

Unlike me Sunbeam has only become more beautiful with age. She has a vibrancy that I never expected and is even better than my dreams. She is really much smarter than I am and has a better temperament. An immigration officer and a social worker seem like
an odd match. However, I have always followed my heart to the extent allowed by the law. Sunbeam is not adverse to locking up those who deserve it. My greatest pleasure
as an officer is fixing what had been previously wrong. Sunbeam has chosen gerontology as her field and serves those who need an ear in their last days. I am blessed by her presence and her love will extend my days and enrich my nights.

My coworkers had a hard time accepting the new me. They were used to the cynical type who was aloof. One idiot even suggested that I was never married and pestered me for a picture of my ex wife. I did show a picture without figuring my coworkers could deduce who the other person was. The picture created quite a stir and the cleanin woman placed it with the other black and white movie photos. I dated but without a purpose and many times I just never even bothered when opportunity knocked.

My whole outlook has changed. People ask me where I would go on vacation. If I was alone a drive in a wild section would do. However, now that I have Sunbeam I want to
go everywhere and anywhere so long as she is with me. Her smile brightens my day and makes everything special.

Even a simple trip to the grocery store with her is an amazing experience. In my previous incarnations I had to cook and shop. I actually cook quite well and use different ingredients. I can not use some of the dishes because Sunbeam is kosher. However, this is not an impediment as it was my natural state as well. I adapted to
the demands of previous relationships, but can just as easily revert to my natural state. This may sound odd but I really do not miss much of the non kosher stuff. Perhaps the only thing I will genuinely miss is swordfish. As stated earlier left to my own devices any pot dish made in a loving home is better than the best restaurant
fare. I made them in a previous relationship and they were appreciated, but never tasted right to me. I was not my grandmother, mother, sister and no woman in a relationship ever made me a pot dish. I was always more skilled or perhaps nobody cared enough to make me one.

I am still interested in politics and am the same person with the same passions. I still loathe communists, support Israel, love America and am more or less a social
liberal. I do not see anything wrong with helping a married couple who has a kid or two with an occasional helping hand. There is a difference between a married couple in a committed relationship with children and a never been married woman with children from different fathers.

I still support the right of gay people to live with dignity. I also do not support changing the definition of religious terms to suit the tastes of manifesto carrying black robed freaks. Religion is important as long as it respects life and builds communities. Even Rav Roovs congregation seems to cater to the lost among us. I feel very at home there and can not explain why. The notion of a God ordering me to kill
unbelievers to create utopia is an abomination. In reality a Junglemom or a Papa Frank help the poor as a religious calling and that is the way it should be. These
true religious types manage to serve their communities without gulags, power mad scams or insane liberation theories.

Sunbeam has not changed me as much as she has enriched my life. The other day she gave me a beautiful card. Part of it is sad because nobody has ever given me a card like that with such a loving personal message. Then again I never wrote rich love poetry for anyone else either. Sunbeam is my equal in all categories and I can talk about anything except raising children with her.

If one were to observe me at work you would see a person of contrasts. I am very sensitive to victims of crime and domestic violence. I know when to let the gentler side of my persona take hold. When it is a genuine relationship I work hard to make it a pleasant experience. Yet when it is not I can also fight tooth and nail for a withdraw. I let the evidence speak to me and sometimes the book is just wrong. My boss once told me I do not care what the book says that couple is married for over thirty years. Over time he was proven correct and I learned that a gut feeling sometimes is more insightful than the book.

The magic of a true love is that the changes are subtle and the best qualities are enriched. Sunbeam has changed my life for the better and I am content to do my best to fill the remainder of our days with love and warmth.

I am a very lucky man who is blessed on many levels. I have a great job, a good family, wonderful friends, I reside in an ideal spot and I have the rarest of all gift the true love of a soul mate. My life has never been better.

Beakerkin Goes to War

Not Exactly

A great number of my coworkers will be taking the day off to watch the inauguration. I do not share their enthusiasm for Obama. Many of them voted for him out of ethnic pride
and I understand symbolism.

It will be a tough day at work as the remaining folk will have to work very hard. I plan on bringing my A game with me.

Obama was elected on the heels of a financial mess largely by a compliant media that let him get away with saying hope and change endlessly.

Disadvantages of Weight loss

For the first time in my life I genuinely feel cold. I feel it in my bones on a cold day like never before. I am typically good up until 15 degrees and seldom cold even
in Vermont.

I have from dreams of women to dreams of pot roast. Sunbeam meets my needs for love, but I hunger for a good old pot roast. I am so wound on this new diet I was talking about cheating the other day with a small slurpee after work. Sunbeam encouraged me to go for it as I put in a twelve hour day. It is odd that such an item on a cold day would stir me so.

I am very careful about what I eat. I gave up regular soda around four years ago. Salted Snacks around six months ago and candy before that. I now eat a roll with margarine, Fish and vegies with a cup of lentil soup for dinner and a small tuna sandwich for dinner. I see chicken on Fridays at dinner or perhaps at lunch.

I decided to lose the weight because I want to have as much time as possible with Sunbeam. Her love is the difference between existing and living. Her smile and a gentle hug are all I need.

She does read this blog and will probably joke about pot roast. I have always loved pot roast. It is very funny as I can cook gourmet fish and poultry with ease. However, if given my own devices I would sooner have a pot roast or any odd chicken in a pot dish than restaurant fare. There is something about a pot dish made by a person who loves their audience that gets lost in an industrial setting.

Pot dishes do have their weaknesses. They are not suitable for candle light dinners
or even dinner parties. They are almost familial affairs and are off at another level.

I also find my sense of humor is not as rich as when I am eating junk food. I also think I am less patient and more grouchy. I am definitely more confident romantically, but that is all Sunbeam.

Wanderings

I went with Sunbeam and her family to visit Rav Roov I picked a bad day as it was 3.7
degrees when I left on a four mile uphill walk. My time in VT prepared me well as I wore layers. Normally my legs are fine but they were cold. I have lost well over 30lbs in six months.Near the end I stopped in at 7-11 to buy a small peanut butter and jelly sandwich as I needed the extra calories in the extreme cold. It took about 15 minutes to warm up and another 5 to get the bus to the next leg.

This may sound funny but I had a problem sweating from the layers and it is potentially dangerous in those temperatures. I used the ferry ride as time to alter the layers for the next part of the trip.

I made it to synagogue but elected to tell the curious that I was a friend of the Rabbi. Rav Roov quickly told the curious that I was in fact his younger brother. I am his younger older brother but this is a running joke.

Sunbeam came with her father and my brother greeted them as honored guests before his sermon. For those of you who think Kahanism is authentic Judaism, listening to this sermon should be mandatory. In short those who commit evil and pretend they are religious disgrace our community and Baruch Goldstein was one of many singled out.

I met Sunbeam's dog and it went as well as such an event can go with a shi tzu. I am
not a fan of small dogs as my temperament is more geared to a lower tempo less caffeinated type like a pug, bull dog, lab or most good old mutts. The dog does like me but alternates between love and warfare in as short as a five minute span. I am like King Kong so the attempts to bite are at worst annoyances.

This was the first time Sunbeam or I met a sibling and my nephew was present. My nephew is a good kid and he had a very interesting friend. He is always well behaved and about the worst behavior he does is watch the Mets.

This was also the first time both sets of parents met. It went well except for my mother's desire to be a detective/ Dr Phil. She likes to solve mysteries that do not exist and accidentally blows things out of proportion. Nothing terrible, just same old foolishness and my not dealing better with it.

I went to a Pro Israel rally and was surprised by the high turnout. The assorted politicians were there and a guest appearance by Rep Wiener. He got a huge response
when he called Jimmy Carter an "abomination". His speech was excellent and this comes from a person who has loathed him previously. I wish Gov Patterson would dicth
Kennedy and Cuomo and give the job to Wiener who is far better prepared. I did enjoy
the speeches of Councilman Oddo and our Borough President Molinaro. However, after being exposed to a typical Col Bernie Saunders ( Clown from VT) rant anything is an improvement. Obviously, there are no IQ or drug testing requirements for public office in VT.

Of course there were about 20 clowns trying to counter protest. As the event was held
indoors at the JCC this was just vanity. The protesters were mostly Arabs with no communist lackeys. If this were in Manhattan there would be an army of Commies manipulating the event. Commies are the political equivalent of hemorrhoids.

The End of Sanity

I do not understand why certain groups think they have the right to make judgments.We take EEO classes that spell out what behaviors are acceptable. The training specifically states one is not to question the religious commitment of your employees.
I went to leave early to be with Sunbeam. My boss told me I am not a Jew and to stop pretending. This scenario is covered in our training and I reminded my boss who said it again.

I have dealt with stupidity at work including a coworker who asked me of Madoff "Why did the Jew rob people." I also had the classic about Jews on Welfare.

Oddly this came from the same person who seriously considers the term "sweatshop" racist. Sorry but my I worked in the fashion industry for years and that term is a given.

Of course these same people are given to anti gay slurs. I do not know why the very people who will deservedly crucify someone for using the N word will turn around and
call a person a faggot with impunity.

Victim culture has made Orwell's words a reality. All animals are equal, but some are
more equal than the rest.

Be Yourself

Those of you who regularly read this blog know of my deep love for a woman I call Sunbeam. She is the light in my life and warms my heart. I am a very changed man as her love has enriched my life.

Some of my coworkers do not like the new me. I am more confident, slimmer and less concerned by the whims of abusive types.

We define ourselves and the changes in my life were never demands from Sunbeam. When I divorced I walked away from many things and lived in the present. The coworkers who do not like the new me will have to adjust.

I have also learned my lesson about people who claim to speak for everyone. I speak only for myself and do not need everyone to talk for me. Cliques are the realm of very shallow and often very cruel people. In reality it was they who changed me into something I was not. Even when I was younger and very good looking I loathed dance clubs. I certainly did not need them to find dates. I liked a one on one date where my attention was focused and I could be myself.

The man about town is not me, it was never me. I walk with Sunbeam in a mall and we look like a married couple. Illusions are for those who can not deal with reality. My
life with Sunbeam is better than any illusion or fantasy of popularity.

Too patient

The Israelis have been far too patient with the situation in Gaza. The far left anti semites are going to complain anyway so invade away. The notion that firing rockets at Jewish civilians is just an inconvenient fact.

If the people of Gaza are suffering it is for a communist contrived myth of a fake ethnicity. Every pointless death is at the feet of the far left and its absurd twists
to co-opt populist antisemitism. The Pseudostinian is actually better off dead than living as an Egyptian.

Egypt needs to take back its territory and end this game.

The demented morons of the world are now letting people suffer for a communist contrived fiction. The residents of Gaza have and always were Egyptian. The Palestinian
ethnicity is a contrived publicity ploy that was easier to market than Judenfrei real estate.

After the Soviets goaded and provoked the Arabs into escalating hostilities and the ensuing disaster ( Foxbats over Dimona) this fake ethnicity was contrived. The cry of

If the world were serious about ending the mess in Gaza it would tell Egypt to end this farce now. Egypt should anex the area and end this farce. Let the residents of Gaza be what they have always been in the first place Egyptians.

True peace in the region requires the end of Cold War far left propaganda points. There are no Palestinians and this contrived label has been a Marxist ploy to make populist antisemitism socially acceptable.

2008 What a Year

When 2008 started I had just finished roaming the country. When it ended I had just started a relationship with the woman I had always dreamed of. 2008 was a magical year
for me. It had ups and downs but I never imagined I was still capable of a type of intense love. Through it all my loving blog family has been there each step of the way.

Many people misinterpret the changes I have made in my life as Sunbeam exerting control. That which is freely given is not control, nor would she ever do so. I wish to live a long happy life together with her and anything that furthers that goal makes me happy. Changing my diet, skipping dance clubs and missing football games are a small price to pay for happiness.

Mostly Good

I met with Sunbeam's parents in Baltimore. The meeting went well but we did get the expected slow down bit. They are wonderful people, but I made a point of bringing a big fruit basket. My family sent a bottle of wine, chocolate covered nuts dates. I treated
the entire family to a movie. One can not be too careful about seeing a movie with your
girlfriends parents but the Benjamin Button film worked. As usual I forgot the senior citizen discount, but Sunbeam rescued me.

We did not get to see AOW due to a very minor medical issue and the early Sabos.

I made a point of letting Sunbeam know she can drive my car. She enjoyed it so much I never got it back. The car was recently refurbished and is well tuned. I just drove a few blocks and that was it.

Sunbeam is a pleasure and I have never been happier in my life. I have never experienced such love and kindness in my life.

Sunbeam has figured out that I do know how to cook. In a previous relationship I did
all the cooking. We made a meal yesterday and I learned how difficult it is to cook for young children. In a large family such as the one I grew up in it was easier as it was impossible to cater to five kids. Sunbeam will be by my parents house in two
weeks. She is much easier to cook for than yours truly as I do not go near some vegetables.

I am a very lucky man as Sunbeam guides me with her light and warms my heart.

The First of Many Trips

Today Sunbeam and I take our first road trip together. It is another first for us. I will be reconnecting with her family after 20 years. My context will be much different
and I am now a man. However, this is somewhat easier on me and them because I am not an unknown.

One of the ultimate boyfriend tests is do you let your girlfriend drive your car. I enjoy my car, but Sunbeam is the love of my life so it is a no-brainer.

I am taking ribbing from the guys about not watching football to be with Sunbeam. I love Sunbeam and enjoy the Giants. There is no choice as every moment spent with Sunbeam is precious. This is the woman I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with. The choice should be obvious to those with a brain. Sunbeam did not force me to choose and understands. I will not be going to my coworkers superbowl party. I want to spend my time with Sunbeam.

I have always known Sunbeam was special and the type of woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Unfortunately, we never had a private conversation where I could convey my feelings. I am much different in private and those who see me in that
context will gladly inform you.

It is funny going from clown to romantic role model in my office. I still enjoy a laugh or two especially with good cases. However, my female coworkers prefer this aspect. Sometimes they smile at some of the stories like Sunbeam and I having the same taste in Art.

There is a picture in my office that is there for many reasons. There is a picture of me at 22 with my exwife. The Princess did not believe such an inept clown had ever been loved much less married and pestered to see a picture of my exwife. I never figured that she would deduce who the man in the picture was. The picture still creates a stir and is described as movie star good looks. The other day new workers were amazed and said it was no joke.

The picture served as a reminder to the twenty somethings that think they own cool and know everything about sex. It says point blank I was better looking and cooler than you will ever be. For the applicant the picture serves as a reminder of what a couple in love should look like.

I am an officer and am proud to serve the American people. However, when my life is summed up the title I will take greatest pride in will be beloved husband. There is now a woman behind my efforts and all my work is no longer a product of pointless pride. I always think about how Sunbeam has enriched my life and added purpose to my days.

I also am thankful to those of you who believed that something like this was possible. I remember and am reminded of the different reaction of my friends to Northwind.

I am going to see if we can get Sunbeam to visit over the weekend.

Taking the car out

It has been a year and a half since I returned from Vermont. I have only placed 2000 miles on my car since then. Most of that was done by Drummaster. The car has been in dry dock as a check engine light went off on Sunday. The radiator hoses and the transmission sensor went.

Even the mechanic was amazed at the good overall condition of the car. Sunbeam is going to switch her van for my sedan and the drive to Baltimore. She wants to drive my car and I trust her with everything else. I have never driven south on 95, but it is no big deal.

Yesterday Sunbeam got word that she passed the exit exam for her bachelors degree. Her graduate school application is still out there. She has a long road ahead to her Masters Degree.

I am so proud of her accomplishment.

The next hurdle is an MSW.

Christmas and New Years 2008

When 2008 opened I had just returned from a cross country trip. The year wasn't easy
but it had a great ending. I heard a voice from my past the one I always loved from afar reach out to me. I never thought I would be worthy of her grace and charm.

My life is much better now than it has ever been. I have the woman of my dreams by my side. After a life time of the big guy upstairs handing me comedic lines I not only get
the girl I get the one I longed for. My coworkers have noticed the change and I have also lost 50lbs over the year. Sunbeam not only fills my heart she has probably lengthened my days.

I am always thankful for my blog family who always stood by. Many of you always said I needed a good woman in my life. Most of you hated Northwind who just wasn't up to the job. At some point Sunbeam will stop in and you will get to meet her.

I feared love and this may sound funny. I always feared getting hurt or even worse hurting someone. Even the tears of someone unworthy like Northwind sting at my soul.
Even a chunky bachelor gets plenty of offers from many beautiful women. As men get older in NYC we go from doing the hunting to being the hunted. Sadly women find long term romance with men 15 years older or flawed men. I found myself tempted by many offers, but Sunbeam is the one I always wanted. I knew she was special even thirty years ago. I had no idea how vibrant she was and she has grown more beautiful over time.

It is a good thing to fall in love with the right person. I bask in the warmth of my
sunbeam. I count my blessings every morning and live for her smile or a text. I no longer am playing out my days or am racing towards infinity. I envision a series of wonderful misadventures with her as the chapters will only get better towards the end.

All right now it is time for you to help Beakerkin. I am planning to watch some films
with Sunbeam. Sunbeam was going to indulge me and watch some of my favorites but that
doesn't seem fair. Lets have some suggestions.

New Direction

Those of you familiar with this blog know that the issues of domestic violence are important to me. I have written several posts about the issue at various times.

I will be given my highest honor and be trained to hear domestic abuse cases at work. I
consider it an honor as such cases require tact and sensitivity. These are the cases that I will remember for a lifetime.

I am fortunate in that I did not have to tell Sunbeam why this type of case is important to me. She knows this is my calling and loves me for it. Real men protect those who are vulnerable.

Riots in Greece

There used to be an arrogant condescension from Europe about riots in America. This arrogant mindset ignores its own rising crime rates, riots and social disorder. It may
have taken a while to get aid to the victims of Katrina. However, wholesale riots in France, Greece and elsewhere are a different matter. Katrina was a natural disaster, not a breakdown in law.

Leftists will spin these riots in their own demented anarcho marxist stupor. However,
such riots in a normal country push the votes to the right.

Those in Europe who look upon the rest of the planet as the apex of civilization need
to look in their own countries first. The ugly American has been replaced by the useless know it all Euro. Sorry, but Euros who visit Disney and NYC do not have a clue
about America.

Next on the List

I will be traveling to Baltimore to meet her family. Unlike my family, her family knows
me very well as I was frequently in their home for years. One might be surprised that knowing this that they still approve.

I am no longer the growing boy with the good sense of humor. I am not the college kid with the sweet boy band look anymore. I am officer Beakerkin and I have a larger than life persona even amongst officers.

I will be traveling with her to Baltimore. She really enjoys driving, so I will let her
drive my car. My car is not the easiest to drive, but she isn't frightened.

I am going to try and see AOW on the 26th with Sunbeam.

A Case of Nerves

Today Sunbeam meets my parents for the first time as my soul mate. I have complete confidence in her. My signal to my mother when she is been embarrassing is to mention
Shakespeare. Of course this does not work with an English major.

Sadly she has her finals and the meeting will be brief. Annoying professors do not make
allowances for couples in love.

I will be meeting her family next week. I know them for thirty years, but being a boyfriend is a different matter than family friend. Sunbeam knows her family and I will
rely on her.

Back from the Dead

Some of you were worried about me during my assignment. Sunbeam is a wonder and is truly my soul mate. She understands me better than I understand myself. Her smile and caring nature captivate me. I long to make her happy and live for her smile.

I had thought feelings like this were a relic of my life twenty years ago. I can talk with her about anything and she is my best friend. I consider myself blessed by her presence.

I have never been happier in my life than when I spend time with her.

Out of Town

I am on a work related assignment and will be away for a few days. Sunbeam is a revelation and brightens my days with her wisdom aand love. I am blessed.

Ladies have some sense

I am saddened by what appears to be another tragedy at a club in NYC. People go to these clubs are more often than not the wrong people. I dreaded going there with coworkers as I wouldn't go alone.

I hear the familiar complaint from my female coworkers that there aren't nice guys out there. They are out there, but you need to do your homework. Ask friends, family and coworkers as they know more than one will find in a club. If he is over 40 you may need to be more assertive and patient. He may have had a few bad relationships and has stopped looking. Treat the search as if you are looking for a new job. Learn to read his body language and eyes.

The clubs are filled with empty vain people. Things are not what they seem and people
believe too easily. I was supposed to go with my coworkers on Friday. However, when a man has a soul mate such places are wastes of time.

Nobody asked me but......

The Obama administration wants to create jobs via public works. The notion of domestic drilling must seem to elude Obama. Giving tax credits to build new and expand existing refineries and power plants would be a good place to start. Lets see if we have to endure another big digg.

NYC reacts to Mumbai

As predicted NYC has reacted to the massacre in Mumbai with special training.Sunbeam is
worried about my safety. I am in the safest location in the city on a low floor. Concrete barriers prevent traffic from approaching the building. Parking is tightly regulated and cars are inspected before entry.

The notion of a band of Mumbai style in my building is not likely as around 1/3 of the people who work here are armed. and entry is via revolving doors with several armed guards and metal detectors up front.

Sunbeam embodies the best of the nurturing qualities of womankind. Her concern over my safety is touching, but I am in the safest part of the City.

NYPD has begun training Police to deal with this type of attack. However, traffic and the vast numbers of crowded people make an effective response without large numbers of casualties unlikely. Mayor Bloomberg's antigun mania makes this type of attack more dangerous. In a mall or a crowded street such an attack would meet a disarmed populace.

Double game

Pakistan plays a double game of pretending to be all things to everyone. It pretends it
is trying to reign in terror even as Al Queda and the wacky anti Indian groups operate on its soil. The episode shows no matter how much is granted to some Muslims it is never enough. India gave up large portions of its territory to create Pakistan, an ethnically cleansed state. Muslims did not leave India and yet they demand more land for more ethnically cleansed states.

The double game is pretending to be doing something about terror while actually doing nothing at all other than provide excuses. Let India do what it feels it must. Perhaps the folks in Pakistan will get the hint that this double game needs to end.

Of Plaxico Giants and Beaker's

The Giants did the right thing by cutting ties with Plaxico Burress. Success is no substitute for sanity and sound judgement. Plaxico's idiotic antics proved too much and
he will likely never play for the Giants again.

I find myself in the midsts of many life altering choices. My new relationship with Sunbeam has prompted many changes in my life. I no longer eat junk food for lunch and eat fish and lean vegetables with a fruit cup for lunch. I no longer go with my coworkers to dance clubs on Fridays. If they are going to a regular bar I still join them. Some of my coworker's have questioned if these changes are the real me. These new changes are the real me. A good diet that is close to Kosher is helping me shed pounds.I have more energy as well. I have no interest in dancing with strange women who are mostly tanked. When the guys cut lose and have one or two is another story and part of the bonding experience that is important to officers.

The moral of the story is one can have everything and still make poor judgments. Behind every good man is a better woman and I count my blessings every day.

Mumbai and the human side of us

The attacks on Mumbai could have happened anywhere in the world. A group of ten terrorist armed to the teeth could have produced similar results in any big city
including NY. Hotels typically have one or two guards with pistols in NYC and malls
have a few more.

This new model is hard to deal with except for Israel or in other places where
large numbers of people are armed.

The media is scapegoating the police in India. No police department is really
equipped to handle four of these invasions in one place.

I also do not want to hear a peep from the usual suspects. The victims were tortured and India is justified in whatever retaliation it seeks. Of course when a Muslim child is blown up because a terrorist uses them as a shield the media wails and the Euros go into faux moral outrage.

These are not soldiers in a war and as such they deserve no protections. Soldiers in
a war do not tie up civilians torture them and execute them. The antics make a mockery of the professionalism of soldiers.

I do not want to hear excuses from CAIR clowns or Commies. Attacking Jews in India has nothing to do with Pseudostinians or whatever other fake nationalities the left contrives. One can name Baruch Goldstein only because his behavior was so out of the ordinary. Given the barbarism of these attack it is amazing that the rest of us show
restraint.

Sorry, but the excuses should have ended long ago.

Wanderlust

A few fellow officers joke about the careerism journeys we take. The most ambitious of us go around the globe to advance their careers. A friend with unlimited potential
decided to move to the Midwest with a girl from Vermont and build a life. We spoke of that Wanderlust that drives officers to go to every hot spot.

I volunteered for Katrina and was a candidate to go abroad. I sought to be on the front lines. I wasn't pulled by the career so much as for the sake of adventure. For me
it was another exciting chapter in a long book.

I have lost the need to be at the front and the pining for adventure. I have no need to
be larger than life moving from challenge to challenge. I am not John Wayne or any other archetype. I am a flesh and blood man and my place is near my beloved sunbeam and my family. Let the younger officers follow their wanderlust. True love is greater than wanderlust.

Terrorist pathology

We all live with the image of the last attack as the new model. What we know about terrorism is that they thrive on uncertainty. We can not predict their new modes, but we need to look at what it is.

Extremists of all type cheapen life. There is a reason that such horrible acts are produced by extremists. An extremist is a wasted soul who thinks he posses the key to
the ultimate knowledge. All things are disposable to serve the divine idea. Thus a Communists idea of socialist paradise or a jihadis 72 virgin pipe dream are the escapes from the present reality.

There has been a profound change in my life, it has altered my thinking. I used to think of these extremists as assaulting that which I love and law and order. Now with
the changes in my life I see these foul extremists assaulting humanity and the natural order of life. The natural order is for people to respect life and live for
the loving relationships of soul mates, children, parents, siblings. The natural order is to see the divine truth as an extension of love of life. Junglemom serves with her family as a celebration of a healthy expression of the divine truth. Her family serves the poor not for power but as a calling from the above. Many of our religious readers understand and live this calling.

I think of my relationship with Sunbeam and am reminded of the natural order. It is natural for couples to love each other. I can't even begin to appreciate the sacrafice of military families. There is no greater sacrafice than that of a military
family especially the spouse. There is no greater evil than the love of a mother who
celebrates her son's death.

What sort of sick twisted person needs 72 virgins? A virgin does not know what she is doing and this is an ego trip. It is an impractical teenage arrested development sex
fantasy. A man is only complete when a special person is there sharing his life.

What sort of person needs socialist utopia? A loser who thinks he will create paradise with the empty rhetoric of long dead fools. Utopia does not exist and it is a fools dream and the despots tool. The empty words are usually said by sick twisted
types who deceive in order to get power. When was the last time you heard a commie talk of healthy love of anything or a respect for life. Kulaks, class enemies are mere human cattle or acceptable losses en route to power.

There are times men who are well adjusted have to kill. Such men serve to protect their country they love to protect their families and yours. They do not serve for 72
virgins, they do not dream of utopia, they do not do it for the pay they serve out of duty and love of country. Their dreams are of returning home to loved ones.

We can not predict if the next attack will be like 9-11, Madrid, Bali and so forth. More than likely terrorists will test the new administration and we will get hit again. We need to respond quickly and decisively and never forget the difference between us and them.

I am one of those people who is naturally funny without trying. Last week I interviewed
a family and had to send the wife upstairs to pay the penalty fee. I started the interview without her and got a phone call from the officer at the front desk that she had returned. I stopped the interview and said "Pardon me I have to pick up your wife".
The entire room burst into laughter at my expense.

Pretending the problem doesn't exist

Part of our problem with understanding Islam is the monopoly of egghead policy wonks
and University clowns. All of the above are fed a diet of Marx, Marcuse, Fannon and Chomsky and their maleducation often leads to a Mickey Mouse version of what Islam is and its history.

The current mantra of blaming all the regions violence of Israel is laughable given the
nature of the regions problems. The Marxist types have a myopia when it comes to the history of Islam and its treatment of minorities. This cartoon vision is politically convenient for the promotion of the grand alliance of nihilistic power mad Marxist and their bug eyed crazed Jihadi allies.

The terror attack in Mumbai should come as no surprise to any of us. The crazed cowardly killers view human life as worthless and kill civilians by design.

You will see no apologies for such barbarism from Stephen Schwartz of the Center for Islamic Pluralism. Schwartz is a Sufi and an American Patriot and as such his viewpoints on the gratuitous waste of life would be the same as our own. Sufism in short is largely a mystical spiritual expression of Islam. It has more or less an internal debate about the larger questions of life and as such tends to be tolerant
towards other faiths.

There is no excuse for the terror in Mumbai.

Beakerkin reviews Australia

Word to the Duck. My boycott of Hollywood did not last long due to altered priorities.

Films are best reviewed when not in the company of a romantic interest. However, I did manage to observe enough of the film to say it was a decent film. Nicole Kidman is a total bore who is wooden and not very interesting. Her alleged love scenes are a labor to watch.

The film is very good despite hackneyed writing. The Wizard of Oz references were corny and cliche. The film does a wonderful job displaying the landscape of Australia. The standard cliches about the all wise aborigine and the evil colonists are there. The film does touch on the terrible treatment of the mixed race children that ended in 1973.

This is not a classic film in any description. It does manage to be enjoyable in spite of itself.

The rest of the evening went well. The company was magnificent and I am a very lucky
person. If the right person talks then you need to listen.

Just when you thought......

Many of us stumble through the mundane tasks that make up our life. There is always the next task or challenge. We go through a series of obstacles ups downs fail and overcome. You change a series of unknowns into the known and been there and done that.

Suddenly, I am not tired anymore. A gentle breeze is behind me.

The tasks do not seem as vital and the chores do not seem endless. They are a means to an end, but not my life.

Take a few minutes and enjoy a sun beam.

We aren't here for ever.

Thanksgiving

I want to talk of family, friends and lovers.

On Thanksgiving it is time to look about and around at all those who bring joy into our lives. Naturally, we look at our family and most of us should be thankful for them even if they are less than perfect. There are those without families and with truly dysfunctional families, so be easy on your own.

I am thankful to all of you out there. You are like an extended family and I enjoy the time we share together. I could not ask for a finer group of friends and consider myself lucky. To list all of you by name would be endless and most of you know who you are.

I talk lastly of those of us who are blessed with that special person in your life. They are not perfect but we love them as they are and sometimes in spite of who they are. The moments are never enough and they bring joy into our lives. In the end, it is this that makes days special. To that special person in my life I thank you more
than words can ever express.

Feeling Goooooooood

I am ready and fired up to go to work having apparently traded food poisoning for a more manageable head cold. Part of being an officer is answering the call of duty.

I do not look forward to going to work today as I expect some difficulties from the recent changes in my life. People will have to learn my priorities have changed and being a good friend does not mean servitude.

Midway through the day I should be the recipient of pouting followed by guilt. I would sooner take a two by four to the head than have a woman do the former. I am certain if Justin is reading this he is probably laughing me.

Do any of you other guys have to deal with this?

Around the NFL

The Giants played a decent game without Jacobs and Burress. A monster game by Hixon saved them. Don't look but Boss has more TD's than Shockey.

The Cowboys are back, but do not get to excited with a win over the Niners.The Chargers are dead and whoever hired Norv Turner should get a cyber wedgie. The Eagles are dead and Reid looks to be DOA.

Arizona may not be so bad in a bad weather game as assumed because it has big receivers. Tennessee looked over matched against the Jets.

Washington has corrected the ship. I look for Washington to play a similar version of the game played by Arizona against the Giants. Portis will be a big factor if he runs well the Redskins have a chance.

If I am Bill Cowher the following jobs will be open Det, StL, SD, KC, Phil, Sea, and Cin. I take San Diego as the easiest turnaround. Spagnulo likely gets his choice and may end up in Phil. If I am the Lions I do whatever it takes to land Schottenheimer.
He has multiple draft picks and builds a smash mouth team.

The human side of all of us

I was sitting in the office with some gung ho officers and I am not alone in my reluctance to drop the hammer. All of us walk this line at work as for the most part we are dealing with decent people chasing their dreams. Crushing those dreams is not something a human wishes or desires to do. Kicking out criminals is an entirely different matter for which I would even don steel toed boots.

Those of you I talk with off line know the new challenges that lie ahead. The joy of our days is the unknown that lurks around the corner. How I respond to these new developments remains unknown. Other than the nasty food poisoning I feel better than I have been in years. There is more to life than dedication to work, reading piles of never ending books and swatting Communists. A breath of fresh air has entered my life and it is far better than I deserve.

I would not expect the readers to see a gentler kinder Beakerkin. You may see some Beakerkin about the town posts as I will be spending more time enjoying life and less
time reading obscure titles.

The Hammer Drops

Obama has promised to create jobs by building infrastructure. The idea has limited viability because these trades often employ illegal aliens as subcontractors. Of course
we could get good jobs by drilling for oil in the USA but that would upset the green/red Obama base.

This sounds like more hot air and smoke.

Very Stupid

I take the job very seriously, perhaps too seriously. I use Friday to solve old cases and these families are counting on and expecting me.

I got sent to the aid station with 101. The blood pressure was excellent 111 over 70 but I am constantly thirsty. I am on liquids for the next 48 hours and confined to bed.

Those I talk with off line should be expecting some interesting developments.

If Hillary accepts the position as Secretary of State NY will finally have two senators again. Hillary has done next to nothing for NY in the senate, other than promote herself. Hopefully they will sell the house in Chapaqua and leave NY. Hopefully, we will be spared another stunt like Barbara Striesand running for Senate.

It is best to keep your enemies where you can watch them.

Whoever is advising Obama is quite shrewd. This was a brilliant move as the Clintonistas were potentially dangerous foes.

Open Thread on Gays an interview for all readers of this blog who are not banned

I want to understand how the Average American feels about Gays. Perhaps my life as a New York City resident who spent time in the fashion industry has led me to a different
perspective. In my book it has always been a private matter of little or no consequence. I am puzzled at the extreme hatred of gays and of some gays for Christians
who see a more originalist view of sin.

I am going to try something new. I will do a ten question mass interview. I will answer

Temper Tantrums

There have been strong protests from the gay community over set backs on election day.These protest actually have a negative impact as the loudest most irresponsible voices usually play for the camera. Trying to placate the Clintons

Obama is working 24/7 to try and bring as many functional adults into his administration to reassure the markets. The Daily Konstipation crowd and the professional anti-semitic Marxist may get a Malley or two but that is it.

Obama knows that if he places Code Pinko clowns in public places they will be a cancer
and guarantee a one term disaster. The best Obama can do to survive is to blunt his Marxist roots and try to govern center left.

Alan Dershowitz does an excellent job in the case against Israel's enemies on most levels, but misses on one.

Noam Chomsky is not a scholar and even liberal Schlessinger nailed him on use of made up Truman quotes long ago. He also presents phantom US-Nazi alliances while ignoring
actual communist - Nazi alliances. He pretends to be an anarchist of some odd school
while merely serving to advance the death cult or obscure its record.

Dershowitz, walks around the margins but never spends the time to examine the realities of communism. He does point out the anti-semitism of Marx, but does not delve into its implications. Fealty to a death cult would call ones judgment into questions. Does communism have religious overtones and if so does it render people like Finkelstein into non Jews.

We have seen an apologist for Chairman Finkelstein do Linda Blair type contortions when confronting his saviors Maoism. The reality is such a fealty to a peverse idea renders anything produced by Finky into garbage.

Divided Country

Contrary to popular opinion the nation has never been as divided as it is now. The blathering Obamaists are quite vocal, but the discontent is greater than ever.

Obama has no answers for America other than those that have been proven failures elsewhere.

Bad Ideas

In the USA we already have civilian control of the military. The call for yet another
type of security by Obama harkens to Brown shirts or Cuban block patrols. The United States does not need another organization of jack booted clowns doing God Knows what.

There is talk of expanding a range of agencies. Big government is not the solution to
anything it is the problem. A government job for mindless ACORN clowns is perilously
close to a Cuban block patrol. I can just imagine some clowns from Code Pink trying to annoy Cuban Americans or Jews who support Israel. I might start wearing my steel toed boots for the first clown that tries to void my First Amendment rights.

There is the Obama apologist explanation that he meant enlarging Vista and the Peace Corps. In real parlance it means government jobs and power for unemployable radicals
out of ACORN, Code Pinko and every other freak group.


Is this the one of the so called "new ideas". These are not new ideas and they should be correctly termed "bad unAmerican ideas".

What America actually needs is DHS reform. There are way too many appeals and the system of endless motions and appeals needs to be ended. I want to point out the difference in my dissent and the standard treason that the left passes about. My dissent is aimed at Obama and his allies in the MSM, unions and big academia. If he is not a Marxist and has practiced some form of reverse entryism he is not to be trusted.

We can wage this battle in standard mode. However, it is the time and place to fight against his green and big educational allies first.

Eliminate student loans for Social science majors. Demand overhaul of the liberal arts base and hiring reform. Lets drain the Marxist swamp of its feather bed jobs.

Lets keep up the fight to drill for oil everywhere. Repeated polls show 70% of America favor this position.

The Rape of the US Taxpayer Starts

US consumur. Repeated polls have indicated that Americans are in favor of expanding the areas where oil companies can drill. Obama plans a side run around procedure by executive fiat. We can not count on a global recession holding gas prices in check forever. Domestic oil production also creates good jobs for American families. Obama has just proven he cares more about the opinion of bug eyed treasonous anti American radicals than consumers or domestic job creation.

Those of you who live in PA or other coal producing areas should be concerned about the messiah's jihad on the coal industry. This is just another example of Obama just could care less about jobs for American families.

The open ballot for unions is an assault on freedom. I say this as a union member who

exactly another type of payback for a minority interest at the expense of the consumer.

3 No donations to higher ed.

4 All new investments will be made in Indian companies.

5 I will be very selective with my book purchases.

6 No Broadway shows

I pointed to a nutty woman across the hall and translated this disaster in terms she could understand. You spend more than you earn and there will be even less money for trips to Bloomingdales.

In a way I am glad Obama won because the violence would have been real. Among the idiotic comments.

that space will be taken up by books that are carefully selected.

There are those among us who are upset with yesterdays election. The failures of Carter did lead us to Reagan and the Obama failures will have a similar effect. Spread the wealth and class warfare does not produce jobs, it kills them and sends them abroad.

Who is Barak Obama

Barak Obama is a fraud. He claims to come from the heartland. This may be true if you were in a University Gulag, a big media company or your local communist front group. Obama wants you to believe that repeated appearances with Communist terrorist Bill Ayers and long term relationships with a Communist Anti Semitic crackpot Pastor are just part of regular life.

Obama is the product of Prep schools and the Ivies much like Gomer Kerry. Unlike Obama Kerry still had to earn his way in. There is a reason Obama has not released his grades and the reason is obvious. Also do remember studies that prove University Professors give higher grades to minority students for identical work.

Obama is the ultimate illustration of the foolishness of afirmative action. Obama is
the son of a Kenyan exchange student bigamist and alcoholic. His sole relation to slavery in America was that his mothers family owned some generations ago. This is not surprising but the questions of this policy run deeper. Many of the beneficiaries
are West Indian immigrants whose family was not enslaved in the USA. Other beneficiaries include African immigrants who may have had some family members abducted or on the selling end. The policy is flawed, unjust, divisive and often fails to help those it was intended to help.

We may never know if Obama benefited from these programs. He may have gotten in on merrit, but hiding his grades strongly hints otherwise.

Obama has gotten this far by hiding who he is. He hasn't done much or even said much
beyond droning on about hope and change. His Bolshevik allies in big media have spun
his fables and in the case of the LA Times with held evidence.

He will not be able to hide who he is and the easy victory will embolden his Marxist
mania. Some of his supporters are already into Kim Jong Ill or Hugo Chavez great leader messiah mode. Obama is an elitist whose egomania exceeds that of Bill Clinton.
Clinton was smart enough to understand that he could get elected by hiding who he was
but his early defeats over health care and gays in the military brought him back to reality. He spent his time after impeachment in survival mode. Obama will have a rubber stamp congress, but this will back fire in time.

The era of big media that is unresponsive to the bottom line is winding down. Every day newspaper readership drop as ads go on line. In the internet era news will be ratings and profit driven. The era of a few radicals in alphabet channels setting the agenda are over. Obama can't rescue big media as the long term trends are irreversible.

Obama's University Bolshevik allies might gloat and receive a few more grants for worthless scholarship. Even an article in yesterdays paper about record attendances at CUNY in NYC did not point to the real reason. Higher Ed is largely unaffordable and CUNY is a bargain. The media is quite fond of stories about 200 toilet seats in the military budget. The insane salaries paid to worthless scholars, nepotism and abuse of core curriculum requirements to provide jobs for Marxist hacks goes under the radar for now.

In a cash tight future the genuine prospect of outsourcing and on line alternatives
will change the Marxist strangle hold in higher ed. Universities will have to compete
with India and granting positions to Communist terrorists and spawn of NYC communist
leaders will be more closely scrutinized.

There is a saying a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. We are all about
to get mugged with big unaccountable government that solves no problems. A liberal
Michael Bloomberg type can get results because he is a real leader with skills and
proven life experiences. Barak Obama is not Mike Bloomberg, nor is he fit to sit in his shadow on his best day.

Things will get better in time because when the economy gets worse and people see their tax bills rising media spin will not work. These things run in cycles and every move right or left has a balancing counteraction.

Of course there is the odd chance that Obama may have learned that Marxism doesn't work and is unpopular for good reason. However, given his egomania it is more probable that Linsay Lohan will have a fling with Mr. Beamish or Sonia will become
the spokesman for a clothing line.

Selling out New Yorkers

The recent spate of Stadium Building in NYC has left out an obvious part of the formula
the fan. I used to go to eight or nine Yankee games but the new prices are just too much.

The problem with sports is that they have forgotten their roots. I remember watching the games in the afternoon in the summer and remembering the names of the players and all their stats. It was a great day or night when the family would pack up and go as a group. The same trip to the stadium would cost as much as a small vacation today and the food isn't even good.

Across the river football fans are being gouged with seat licenses that are basically
prohibitive unless one own s a business. There will be many Giant fans who have had seats for generations across many stadiums who can not afford the new seats.

Giant fans are unique in that one may be a fan of the Giants and never see a game in person as the seats are sold out for generations. I will never get a chance to see a regular season game. However, this doesn't stop me from sympathizing with a fan whose family has been there for many decades and now can't afford the new seat licenses.

I am just amazed that even with the worlds second lousiest product and high prices people still pay it to see the Knicks. Maybe it is like watching a car wreck, but there are much better things to do than watch the Knicks such as watching pedestrians
try to doge homicidal cabbies.

A mess we can all share

We are about to elect a stealth candidate to office. The media has done a terrible job but ultimately the economy will have its revenge on the media. The era of the newspaper
is drawing to a close and every year more papers die.

The fragmentation of the new media via cable and the internet is a good thing. Obama will have a tougher time than Clinton because he lacks Clinton's skill and to be blunt
intelligence. Clinton was smart enough to toss the left a few scraps and govern from the center. Obama's intelligence is vastly over rated except when compared to Joe Biden. He has gotten through life based upon his ethnicity and his families ties to the very far left. He has never held a real job.

The question of detaching health insurance from work is actually not as bad as it seems. The reality is that rising health costs do saddle companies with an unfair handicap relative to their foreign competition. The solution should involve free enterprise and tax deductions for insurance. The new playing field should have one set of national rules, so that consumers have a wide variety of choices. The new system would avoid the onerous cycle of government hacks deciding who gets what.

We are about to elect a disastrous egomaniac into the White House. Change for the sake of change produced Jimmy Carter whose blunders we still deal with today. Once elected the stealth deceptions will end and the tyrannical nature of Obama will emerge. There will be a honeymoon period for three months, but he will be tested. Obama may surprise some of us and over react because he must. He is perceived as weak
and must react swiftly to a challenge likely from his friend Chavez.

We are likely entering into a time of deflation and it may not be so bad if you have
a secure job. If one is looking for work times will be rough. In times like these companies compete for fewer dollars with great deals.

America will survive the Obama mess. Obama will be a disaster as a President on a Carter scale.

Many of you out there assume that because Obama is biracial he has experienced rejection and discrimination. He might have been refused membership in a country club
but that is about all. He has gone to elite schools likely aided by his racial identity and his white families far left connections or a combination of both. Obama has not released his grades because the obvious questions would be asked.

Obama serves as a perfect example of why affirmative action is a terrible idea. Obama's sole relation to slavery in America is his mothers family owned some a few generations back.

The Obama cabinet will likely be full of University Bolsheviks who have never done a days work in a real job. His appointments will make Sandy Berger look competent by comparison.

There is a good outcome down the road, but that is four years away. When people see the bills for the imperial government and the job losses people will react just like
they did in 1980. Jimmy Carter was a lousy President with miserable ideas and was booted out in one term. Carter never thought he was God or had the insane egomania of Obama whose arrogance is greater than Clinton's.

Bill Clinton led a charmed life because those who chose to believe ignored the truth
behind a man who was basically a slacker. America will not be as lucky this time, but we have survived Carter, Civil Wars and worse than a second rate University Marxist is likely to cause.

Crime and Joe the Plumber

The invasion of privacy of Joe the Plumber is a serious crime that deserves criminal prosecution. Governmental access to private records is a serious matter and people are
deservedly fired for abusing their position to snoop. The government should prosecute those responsible for the invasion of privacy.

Acquiring governmental records is a serious matter and should only be done on an as need to know basis. In the offices where I worked unless dictated by procedure this is even done in consultation with a supervisor. Many times these requests are turned down
as there is a difference between probable cause and a fishing expedition.

Fishing person X is a Dallas Cowboy fan and that means he is proven to have bad taste.

Reasonable Cause: The accounts are inconsistent and a look at earlier versions of the same events may clarify the actual record or dictate a proper course of action.

Joe the Plumber had his privacy invaded by Bolshevik media clowns. He is and remains a private citizen. This disturbing trend was also clearly violated in the case of the release of the media records of Linda Tripp. We are also familiar with the Clintonian
abuses of FBI files of political opponents.

It is time that the existing laws of privacy were enforced. To paraphrase the fake victim husband of a non event Valerie Plame " I want to see a leftist media thug "frog marched" into the big house.

The First Amendment does not cover criminal acts such as invasion of privacy.
