The most amusing thing about this blog is those who are off the map to the left never get beyond the actual cliche lines about their opponents. When the sanctimonious left is criticized they go into reflexive memes. It took Communist Clown Renegade Eye years to deduce I am a liberal.
Liberals used to be more like me and less like John Kerry.
1) I am proud of my country and its history. I can look at the unpleasant chapters like the treatment of American Indians and Slavery in a balanced manner.
2) Communism is a nasty death cult of morons who are nore dogmatic than the folks at the 700 Club they mock with zero social graces and low IQs. They are not the moral arbiters of anything. I do not work with them or put up with their presence.
3) While I am not a Conservative, I usually respect their integrity. When I disagree with policies I respect their intentions. Communists rationalize every actions of our enemies and reflexively blame America for every imagined ill on the globe.
4) Socialism is a lousy idea. True socialists frequently allow actual commies into their ranks and are frequently obstructionist. While workers rights are an important item unions need to work place issues
and be as apolitical as possible.
5) Man made global warming is a hoax. Greens that go on diatribes against anti communists like Kovel or ex Maoist Finklestein fool nobody.
6) Obama is inept as a leader. He is incaple of correcting the economy.
7) I do not aspire to make the USA more like the EU.
8) The cost of higher education is outrageous.
9) I do not worship psychology. The field has become way too politicized. Long term patients like Woody Allen and Barbara Striesand have been at it for decades and are still loathsome on many levels.
A professional who told either to grow up and get their inflated egos back to reality would have been replaced long ago. Rationalizing their clients gross behavior does not promote sound mental health. Therapy has become a poor substitue for religion. The advice of most therapists is no more sound than that of a trained clergyman.
10) While I do believe in regulation, I oppose paper tyranny, procedural fetishism and cowboyism of governmental workers. Get people of sound judgement on the job and stay out of their way.
11) 90% of what we call art is BS.
12) Popular culture should entertain first and everything else is secondary.

Surf music is theraputic and clears my office. I fantasize about wearing a loud tropical shirt, Bermuda shorts and white shoes to work on a day I don't have to deal with the public. Until then I can unknown
songs like Gypsy Surfer, Sandstorm, Bullwinkle 2 and Bumble Boogie on the CD player and imagine.
I can also imagine Don Rickles style retorts to the human hockey pucks that make policies in DC.
Not exactly what Lennon Imagined but I am a real NYC guy.

Sandwich Wars
I forced myself to go to Quiznos for a more recent evaluation. Their product still is far better than Subway but has gotten worse. You likely get more bang for your dollar at Quiznos than Potbelly. However, Potbelly seems to taste better and have better attmoshpere despite lame chips. I might visit more frequently because they have Diet Mountain Dew on tap. If you want the best product Lennys is hands down the best if you can handle the ordering system which is almost like being mugged. Au Bon Pain is creative but not up to par. They have some interesting offerings, but are just mediocre. Blimpie provides amazing value and nostalgia but nothing else. Subway is over rated uninspired and I only go there when they have a limited time offering. I can't say that any of these offerings got me to run back looking for more except the Garden Chicken Salad.
There are some on the left whose hatred for Obama is worse than that of the Tea Party. I just finnished reading an off the wall rant by Pilger. Bradley Manning is not being charged with treason because he is gay. Even if his tales of bullying are true there is never a rationale for treason. Any rationalization of his actions are insults to gay people everywhere.
The fake indian in MA is looking worse as she submitted recipies. I shall invent my own tribe of the Jouix and ask if I can submit Gefilte Fish and roadkill mashed potato recipies into the next book. Genuine Native American Indian food as served in the Museum of the Native American is far superior to cliche fancy resturant fare. If Americans ever knew how good Native American food tasted it would be everywhere.

The Long Voyage Home
I watched one of John Wayne's films that I have not seen. One of the oddities of Wayne's career was he did do a film based upon Eugene Oniels play. Unlike many authors who hate the film version of their work Oneil loved this version. You will see many familiar faces from John Wayne films. Ward Bond gets the meatier role as Yank and dies. John Qualen and Barry Fitzgerald are seen quickly. Qualen one again is playing a Scandanavian including multiple " By Yimminy'. The star of the film is Thomas Mitchell who is seen in Stagecoach with Wayne. Ian Hunter plays a large role as a sailor trying to forget a misdeed at home.

I bought my daughter her first bicycle. It was better than hearing endlessly I want a bunny. The dog would probably eat the bunny. Where do kids get the absurd ideas. Rabbits can not be released after byou get bored with them. They are also not exactly like the Maltese which oddly never wants to spend time with the daughter. Junk Food Culture
I was talking with friends about films we remember and why. Some films are shown many times because they are worthy like The Good The Bad and The Ugly or The Searchers. Their are other films that we love to watch and are dreadful and are played over and over again like Dirty Dancing, Kelly's Heroes, Flash Gordon and the Revenge of the Nerds films.
Kelly's Heroes was a film that was chopped to death. Watching it over the years and growing up it takes new shapes as you age. The film would likely be forgotten if it were not for the proto hippie played by Sutherland and the edgy NYC scammer played by Rickles. Telly Savalas plays Sgt. Kojak well and Eastwood is there but almost secondary. As a young child the combat held the attention as we age the comedy and the perplexed reactions to the beatnik are hysterical. The original film had more charachter development and antiwar sentiment and allegedly showed Eastwoods crew getting caught. In the end the actual ending is better because you wonder did they get away. In reallity the answer has to be no except for the Germans who likely had a greater chance to bury the loot and come back.
On certain levels these films are memorable and you want to see them again knowing they aren't high art but they are fun. Maybe the fun factor is why we don't see the Deep or Black Sunday as often. I saw the excellent Harry and Tonto a year or two ago. For whatever reasons the second Planet of the Apes film is never shown. Our own Ducky has a cameo playing a mutant worshiping the atomic bomb. Logans Run is seldom shown but was a good film.
Maybe the trick to fims impact is to have a great star like Wayne or Eastwood and be shown for generations. My daughter hates surf music and quckly knows who John Wayne is. Similarly, I have a fun time watching Zach and Cody or Wizards of Waverly Place with my kid. She doesn't get Fonzie or Alex Keaton or that dad was a cross between the two. It doesn't have to be high art if you watch it with your family.

More Sandwich Chains
I am delving into the sandwich wars of NYC. There are many options but I decided to look at the first entry into the crowded market Blimpies. It was a great concept in the 80's and I can remember sitting with my friends in college and we would scounge some money together and buy two foot long heroes. Blimpie was a great value to the College student. I still prefer it to Subway and on some levels it provides great value for your dollar. Unlike Subway where all you get is bread Blimpie gives you a fair deal. I really don't go there for the food as much as the nostalgia. I miss some of those friends from college and one of them didn't even make 40.
I have been hearing amazing things about a new chain in NYC called Lennys. Pot Belly is more of a Starbucks hip feel with small but decent sandwiches. Lenny's has the essence of NYC it is fast paced like getting jammed into a subway. However, the secret is that the sandwiches are the best of any comercial sandwich chain I have been to. You don't sit about and listen to music,but the food is stellar. Oddly, I order a combination I frequently make at home Turkey and Corned Beef on Rye with Russian Dressing and Coleslaw. At home I add a a few pickled peppers and a slice of NY Deli Pickles. It was almost as good as the ones I make at home. Lenny's is like NY and if you can get past the ordering system that is intially confusing and almost adverserial you have found a gem.
I am going to have to get around to Pret a Manger, Cosi and the very hyped Earl of Sandwich. Sadly the places that need Lennys are the least likely to have one. I probably would have lived in the place if they had one in Burlington. It is like a slice of real NY even with the attitude.
The question of where I rank Lennys vs Potbelly. Lenny's food wins hands down, but if I am unwinding Potbelly is fine. I still have never found a reason to enter a Subway other than convenience or an advertised special.

More Junk food
I went for round two at Potbelly. I had a sandwich called a "wreck". It was a work of brilliance. Frankly, there is zero reason or rationale to sit in a Subway if a Potbelly is available. At this location Boylan Black Cherry was available. The only thing that was less than perfect was the high end chips that lack a punch. I have no idea who makes Zaps but they are not upto par.
The Sandwich shop is a crowded genre. For a Philly Cheese Steak I still prefer Carl Jr's and every now and then they have an awesome fish sandwich that would be perfect with a better bread. I don't think I have set foot in a Quiznos in two years or more. I may go in and take a look. I will go into a Subway only for a special and not their ordinary fare. I do like Au Bon Pain but Pot Belly is so much better that unless I am by the SI Ferry I will not set foot in one. Many people have tried to get me to try Cosi and I will have to get around to it.
Onto Music. J&R moved the Oldies Music Upstairs. I have been listening to CD's from an outfit called ACE Records. I can honestly say that the Teen Beat 3 was so good that I ran to locate vollume 2 and 4.
One of my CD's went Bad but I got another. A CD with Ride the Wild Surf by Jan and Dean and the hysterical Surfer Joe is worth a play.
I got killed at work. I am still in a holding pattern due to jury duty. I was told to call in and given a message to go to work and call again. I do not know until 5 if I have to report to the court. I got nailed with seven cases and zero prep time. No officer gets more than five but I brought them home with no fanfare. The attorneys were overjoyed with the switch as I was not scheduled to hear cases and work on another team.
Hopefully, I will get nothing tommorow and make room in my office.

Junk Food Review
From time to time I venture into fast food joint and give my thoughts. The sandwich shop is one that I go to frequently. I am largely unhappy with Subway and will go in only if they have something new. The standard menu items are not as good as Au Bon Pain, Quiznos or the newest entry to NYC Potbelly.
You probably get more bang for your dollar at Quiznos. The sandwich at Potbelly was on the small side. However it tastes better than at the other chains. I was disappointed they had only premium root beer as a beverage. Had they offered Boylan Soda this would be the best chain going. The mood and the attmosphere make this a place I intend to visit again.

Back to the Jungle
It looks like I will be making another trip to the jungle. The locals are still talking about my previous trip. How much of it is exageration and just small town boredom is open for discussion. My odd items such as assorted condiments, surf music, strange food items and misadventures are still discussed over a year later.
In Guyana one does not expect to encounter Country Music but the locals are quite fond of it. I was rather surprised at the amount of queries about surf music. I sent a few CDS of it after I departed with friends going in as well as some Odd CD's for the home when I arrive. I expect the relatives to poke around as my items are luxuries. Having all of the Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns, Ben Hur as well as Hannah Montana and Rocky and Bullwinkle for the kids has provided hours of fun.
My food items did not survive the first day. Japanese Cherries, Pumpernickel Bread and canned goods went fast. Most of the locals were curious and had never seen those items
This trip will be into the interior. I do not know if the locals will allow me the time to enjoy this trip. The last time I was pretty much stuck around town except for a day. We had plenty of visitors and I was not allowed the time to adventure into the interior.
I did take a boat to crab Island which was a great mini adventure. I did not see the rare Canjee Pheasant. You frequently smell them long before you see them. My trip was at the wrong time of day for the boat to get into the Canjee Creek. I also enjoy buying fish and shrimp off the dock.
I am not a great guest. However, this time I will be better prepared for the trip. I will send supplies ahead so that I can travel lighter.

Leftist BS about Gays
The left lives in a fantasy world of fear mongering. Elect a Republican and gays get herded into closets and watching Will and Grace is prohibited.
The truth is that there is a severe problem with homophobia in the West Indian community. Contrary to imagined media rationalizations the perpetrators are neither religious nor Conservative. The same people that will end a career over real and frequently imagined racial slights have no problem using homophobic slurs and claim that certain women posses "gaydar".
In media circles the craven Obama move is being potrayed as courage. In fact he was elected by cowardly hiding who he is. At the last hour his position on this issue changes after talking with his family. I want to point out that this series of expedient back flips is exactly why he shouldn't be trusted and can not lead. The anti Obama Mayor Bloomburg stated his convictions when expediency was not in his favor. Bloomberg is a genuine leader and Obama is a joke on all levels.
The joke is on the American people and was never funny, it is pathetic.

Obama the genius

Obama is arrogant and undecisive. If he has a child it would look like Trayvon Martin. Is that before or after the faux gold teeth and gangster tatoos. That was a dopey statement from a President who could have urged or dedicated resources to aid the investigation.
When he talks off the cuff as he did to Joe the Plumber you see the arrogance come to the forefront.

Lefties in scare tactic mode as Elmer Fudd
I am borrowing the rhetoric of the far left before elections. They trot out the usual hysterical fear bit like the claims about lynching and the election of Bush. The idea is to scare seniors, gays, Hispanics and Blacks into voting for Obama the savior.
Lefty Fudd: If you ewect a Wepublican its back to the closet for you hooomoosexuals. The sex police are going to invade your bedwooms and burn all your Bette Midler cds. Will and Gwace will be taken off cable and Fox will show Wedneck Eye for the Gay Guy. The GOP plans to make a weal man card requiring men to was NASCAR and the NFL and ban tofu.
Of course this is utter bs. There are countries that do indeed have sex police, but it is not politically correct to name them. Of course the left is too busy stoking Jooo hatred or worrying about the 700 Club to get this one right. Most conservatives don't care about who does what in private as long as all parties can consent. The problem starts with the hysterical need to indoctrinate politically correct views about homosexuality in grade school. Problems with low class behavior at Gay parades are frequently mentioned by many gays who are embarrassed by these antics.
Similarly, there are those who portray all opposition to Obama as racist. Actually, the GOP was well on their way to electing Cain before a media campaign side tracked him. Does anyone remember John Edwards or Bill Clinton getting a fraction of the scrutiny of Cain. Nobody accused Cain of rape, and Bill Clinton lied until Blue stained dresses and tapes made this impossible. Are some people bothered by Obama's race? Did many vote for him because he was Black and a symbol?
We live in an era where Hispanics outnumber Blacks. Many of the new Blacks come from Africa and the West Indies and are not the desecndants of slaves or people who labored under Jim Crow. Obamas sole genetic relation to slavery in America was his mothers family owned slaves. We were given a series of guilt trips about slavery. However, why should an immigrant from Mali benefitf from programs designd to right historic wrongs that have little or nthing to do with them. In fact slavery in Africa was ended by those evil colonialists that the left likes to whine about.
Its time we started to laugh at these scare tactics.
We need look no further than Greece to see where the cult of Obama goes.

Problems with low class behavior at Gay parades are frequently mentioned by many gays who are embarrassed by these antics.
Similarly, there are those who portray all opposition to Obama as racist. Actually, the GOP was well on their way to electing Cain before a media campaign side tracked him. Does anyone remember John Edwards or Bill Clinton getting a fraction of the scrutiny of Cain. Nobody accused Cain of rape, and Bill Clinton lied until Blue stained dresses and tapes made this impossible. Are some people bothered by Obama's race? Did many vote for him because he was Black and a symbol?
We live in an era where Hispanics outnumber Blacks. Many of the new Blacks come from Africa and the West Indies and are not the desecndants of slaves or people who labored under Jim Crow. Obamas sole genetic relation to slavery in America was his mothers family owned slaves. We were given a series of guilt trips about slavery. However, why should an immigrant from Mali benefitf from programs designd to right historic wrongs that have little or nthing to do with them. In fact slavery in Africa was ended by those evil colonialists that the left likes to whine about.
Its time we started to laugh at these scare tactics.

Great Pot Smoke In
I passed through Union Square Park on my way home. My favorite Pizza place is gone. I had been visiting there for more than 20 years. The place across the street is pretty good. However, one can not get the same feeling from a destination that has been part of your life for so long.
Unfortunately, I was wearing clothing with my employers name on it. As such I was careful not to engage the locals. An communist anti semite from the tiny but stridently antisemitic Pseudostine movement was there. I really need to locate a bunch of Caterpillar hats and Tonka Bulldozers. Now some of you may think that making pancake jokes about Rachel Corrie is cruel. However, signs describing Jewish conspiracies to control the government and calling Jews who support Israel traitors deserves a response. Communists questioning the loyalties of anyone is at best some sort of joke. Julius and Ethel weren't executed for being Jews, think again comrades.
The main event appeared to be a meeting of aging communists with the Bill and Ted crowd of druggies. Lengthy speeches about legalizing drugs were the topic. I could have drawn a larger crowd than that with a free Vanilla Ice concert.

Violating the office and position
I want to point out that the very vocal anti American clowns at OWS who don military and police uniforms at political events are violating US laws. There are numerous laws agaainst this behavior and people like Ray Lewis and Shamar Thomas should be prosecuted.
A mentally deranged Thomas was viewed on tape screaming and foaming at NYPD officers who were remarkably restrained durring his temper tantrums. The media portrayal of the event could not be further from the truth. This was the case of a publicity seeking imbecile abusing his former status as a member of the military to aid and abet Communists and Anarchists seeking to provoke the NYPD and ordinary NYC resdents into violent counter reactions to their provokations.
The script is familiar and really fools nobody who is familiar with the thugs, losers and morons of OWS. A police officer is provoked by lawless behavior and the cameras film screeching protesters screaming about police brutality. Did you see what happened ten minutes before the film? Do you ever see this or hear about abusive behavior.
Was Shamar viewing actual Police brutality when he made his well rehearsed rant? No. The rant of Shamar was a well rehearsed publicity stunt. The fact that a deranged nut was allowed to abuse NYPD officers in a well rehearsed rant says much about the actual restraint of NYPD.
OWS is not spontaneous nor is it leaderless except in the demented minds of the MSM amen chorus. In fact there were areas of Zuccoti Park that its members tried to illegally close off from the public where the strategy of media manipulation and tactics are discussed.
Maybe Shamar and Ray Lewis could find some more people in uniforms and sing a few protest songs. There probably are a few actual construction workers and bikers with too much free time. All that is missing is a person dressed up as an Indian and they have mocked the Village People.
The Village People were gainfully employed skilled performers who brought enjoyment to many these words do not describe the mentally unstable Thomas and the attention whore Lewis. Thomas appears to have been in logistics and descriptions of his decorated service are exagerated. He might have done a partol here or there. We thank him for his service and he is free to protest without his uniform and would appreciate if he took his meds and found gainful employment..

Lets try this again
Long term readers know I lived in Vermont for a spell. One of the many quirks that I have is like to stop at Au Bon Pain for a their excellent food. Their newest wrap is called the Vermonter.
Whoever thought this up was obviously not a Vermonter.
Feta Cheese is not a Vermont staple. Plain chicken is also not a Vermont staple. Idiots who have never lived their have Vermont illusions of a pristine place with well manner rednecks driving Subarus and quoting long dead French Philosophers.
A real Vermonter would have a fresh cooked croissant with a freshly shot Canada goose or deer meat tenderized by gas guzzling cars. If locals insist on chicken it should be raised on beer and raised in pens listening to 60's folk music.
Vermont makes some excellent cheddar and a mix of mustard with a splash of maple syrup would be authentic.

The True Face of the Left
Kieth Olbermann in his pompous and arrogant displays of bufoonery has shown America the true face of the left. Leftists like to talk about working class people but many have zero contact with them other than the cleaning person they regularly exploit and demean. Olbermann's antics of outrage because a limo driver had the nerve to talk to him are familiar behaviors to those who have walked in that world. He complained that another driver smelled and went through multiple companies.
Olbermann could have done himself a favor and driven himself to work. He would have to endure his own ego and would have spared the working class driver abuse. Modern celebrities like J Lo and moron extraordinaire Tom Cruise ban eye contact by the hired help. Barbra Streisand made hotel employees walk backwards in her presence. I contrast this with the love of the fans and working people shown by John Wayne who was modest enough to shake the hand of his waiter on many occaisions.

RIP Lou Goldstein
Earlier this week a comedic giant of the Catskills Mr. Lou Goldstein passed away. Lou Goldstein was the ultimate master of the comedic form of Simon Sez. His act worked on speed, misdirection and some of the best timing in comedy. His other routine was less well known whose the boss and what room are you the boss in. Goldstein was the entertainment director in Grossingers until it closed in the mid 80's.
Early in my career I had to learn how to interview. I incorporated much of my style from watching my fellow officers adding NLP with a touch of Goldstein's charm. In a tight spot his misdirection and speed have yielded positive responses. Goldsteins brand of ceberal wit and classic timing fit naturally into my own style.
There is a short snippet of Lou Goldstein doing his act on the Dick Clark show. This is a smidgeon of a brilliant act that was best viewed live and in person. Long before people were doing improv, Goldstein honed his act based upon witty reaction to the people he was working with. The key to Goldstein was he used you as a comedic prop and you loved being a part of the act.

The Long Journey Home
The voyage home took three months. There were many of us who did not yearn to return to regular jobs. I was the exception spitting vinegar and hostile to the end. Yes I made new friends and my time away proved my critics wrong again. The question of if I could excell at this new task was a foregone conclusion to all those who knew my work.
I returned to my desk on Monday. Some of the lawyers were new, but I prefer familiar foils who know my quirks and mannerisms. Some of the interpreters were new but very good. There are a few who are so used to me that I do not have to even remind them I am changing tone. With the newest interpreters I do a two minute gameplan. My style depends on split second timing and misdirection and Monday I was off. It took two days but I am in top form.
This may sound odd but the other assignment is said to play to my strengths. However, I am happier in my large office with fewer people winning the ballgame rather than placing things back on track.
It is good to be home.

Office Raided
On my last day of the detail I allowed the older workers to open my file cabinets. I have vintage CDS in the cabinet. When I go my my father to the old car shows I look for vintage cds and retro food. The workers were treated to Peter and Gordon, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Neil Diamond and countless compilations I never bothered to open
A day in town
I want to leave final judgement on the Museum of the American Indian to Native Americans. If you are looking for heavy history you are in the wrong place. The Museum excells at showing the adaptability and artistic brilliance of Native Americans. Rather than be shown as victims we are given a look into the communities today. They do not gloss over poverty either. The star of the Museum is the brilliant use of architecture and landscaping. The grounds are better than any Museum I have visited. The wetlands park is so well crafted that you can see birds clearly that you are apt to see at greater distances.
We saw a red wing Blackbird a mere 4 feet from us.
The museum has the best food I have ever had in a tourist facility. The venison and turkey and deserts were outstanding. Americans really need to spend more time eating this cuisine and it is indeded our loss that it isn't more common.
The next time I visit AOW I need to bring exotic produce. NYC has many unique stores so for this trip I went to the movie memrobilia shop and grabbed a movie still from the movie Harvey and a reproduction of the movie poster, I also purchased two Bernie Schwartz photos and an original photo with Don Rickles and Buddy Hacket.
This time Johny Rockets was good. I would have gone to the cajiun place but the lines were too long.
My next rail trip will likely be Baltimore to the huge aquarium.

A Lesson in Justice
The very people who are lecturing us a Martin should know all about racial killing. Years ago a Chasidic driver killed a Guyanese kid by the last name of Cato. Al Sharpton gave a speech about "Diamond Merchants"and this led to the Crown Heights riot. Two people were killed including a bearded Italian guy who was mistaken for a Jew and Yankel Rosenbaum.
An angry mob chanting Kill the Jew surrounded and stabbed Rosenbaum. Unlike the confusion of the Martin case this was a lynching. Only one person was charged Lemerick Nelson. A disproportionately Black jury aquited Nelson in a manner similar to stories of jury nulification in the Old South. Members of the jury celebrated with the defendant after the trial. After much delay a second Civil rights trial took place and Nelson once again skirted murder becase of malpractice that led to the death of Rosenbaum. Nelson did serve jail time and was arrested afterwards for subsequent misbehavior.
Only one person in a mob chanting kill the Jew that lynch a Jew was ever charged. The man whose rhetoric about Diamond merchants led to the death by inciting the crowd was never charged. Al sharpton conceedes he made mistakes in Crown Heights.
A troubled teen made up a story about being raped by a gang of Whites. Evidence appears to point to a troubled teen making up a story to avoid the wrath of her step father. Sharpton and a legal team of flunkies obstructed the investigation and made up a story that an innocent man in the DA's office was the rapist. The mental strain of the charges helped ruin this man's marriage. He sued Brawley who surprisngly did not appear at the hearing.
Was Sharpton charged? Nope
Al Sharpton got involved with a rent dispute at Freddy's Fashion mart a Jewish owned store in Harlem. He whipped the crowd into a frenzy and called the Jewish owner of the store "white interlopers". A follower of Sharpton torched the store and seven people died including one Guyanese.

When those of you who are upset about the Martin case are upset that Martin was not charged look at the history of the man leading the cries. Investigators are not perfect and neither Martin nor Zimmerman are blameless. There may be some manslaughter charge ahead. Unlike TV not every investigator is Quincy or Agent Gibbs. In the real world many cases like this go unsolved.
Despite the claims to the contrary Martin was dressed up like a gangster. If you dress the part you need to grasp some people will react to the signals you are sending. He was upset about being followed and appears to have attacked Zimmerman. Zimmerman was clueless in not simply being proactive and professionally engaging a suspiciously dressed man wandering aimlessly in a gated community. A jury likely needs to decide if lethal force was warranted. In the worst case an untrained Barney Fife watchman followed a suspicious charachter. Rather than be proactive he followed the suspect blatantly. Unlike police officers he is not uniformed or trained or tasked with this. A fight ensued and he used lethal force.
In a rational look at things this is not a lynching nor an execution. This is an altercation and use or abuse of deadly force. Martin was shot in the chest and not executed in the back of the head.
Small town investigators do not handle these types of cases often and may have made errors. In fairness large urban police departments have well trained investigators who make mistakes.
Let those who are upset about this cast the first nerf ball at Sharpton whose history of stoking lethal reactions is well doccumented. Justice is sometmes flawed, but it is still better than show trials.

What is wrong with the Left
Many long term readers know I am to the left of most of my readers. Often I am asked how did a person like myself end up as a lifelong Republican.
1) Those on the left have consistently failed to step away from the Communists. There is zero excuse for allowing Marxists of any type to run around like they are moral beacons. Their kind has failed in every application often disasterously.
2) I embrace my countries traditions and history. I don't look to the EU or thug like despots in Latin America for enlightenment. Let Europe be Europe and let America stay faithful to the wisdom of our founders.
3) The left really does a nasty job of creating jobs. They place imaginary concenrs about the environment over jobs for working class families.
4) The left spends too much time bashing cops and not enough time on law enforcement. Sorry, but running around with an image of a guilty cop killer at rallies is not for me.
5) Pathological hatred of Jews and far too much investment in Arab refugees who refuse to live in peace.
6) Respect for property rights
7) Intrusion into what I eat the type of toilet I can buy.....
8) Disrespect for our servicemen
9) Social engineering has been a disaster

I am going to return to the Martin case. Perception is often determined by visual clues.
Most jobs have uniforms and dress standards. The reason that this is the case is that the public expects a certain decorum and or professionalism. Woulld you really want to invest your money with a banker dressed like a pirate or a vampire? They could be excellent at their job, but most people really don't want to think of their financial professional as a pirate. Similarly, teachers do not get to dress up like circus clowns as doing so would distract from the lesson. Federal officers do not get to dress up like Ninjas.
Martin dressed up in a particular attire that is well known to big city residents and anyone familiar with popular culture. While it is true tatoos and the gold teeth are unlikely to be seen at night. The hoodies and the baggy pants and silly walks present an image. When we dress like criminals people are going to react to the visual clues. Thus you have a nervous night watchman and a person dressed like a stereotype gang member. This was not the case of a forever lost Steve Urkel in suspenders and flood pants making a wrong turn. You have a person dressed up like a criminal in a gated community. A better watchman engages the person verbally and feels them out. This gives a professional notice to criminals as well and most ply their trades elsewhere.
From many accounts in the press the girlfriend reported Martin said "Why are you following me". At this point Zimmerman is likely on solid ground. Where he likely fumbles is the next point. Some reports have a nasty verbal exchage when Zimmerman tried to call for help. A professional response likely gets Martin to move on or ascertains where he is going. Failing that it establishes that the odd behaviors are being observed.
We do know about Zimmermans past anger issues and incedents. We also need to take into account Martin was the genuine article. The gangster tweets and suspensions, drug use are on solid ground. While it is true tatoos and the gold teeth are unlikely to be seen at night. The hoodies and the baggy pants and silly walks present an image. When we dress like criminals people are going to react to the visual clues. Thus you have a nervous night watchman and a person dressed like a stereotype gang member. This was not the case of a forever lost Steve Urkel in suspenders and flood pants making a wrong turn. You have a person dressed up like a criminal in a gated community. A better watchman engages the person verbally and feels them out. This gives a professional notice to criminals as well and most ply their trades elsewhere.
From many accounts in the press the girlfriend reported Martin said "Why are you following me". At this point Zimmerman is likely on solid ground. Where he likely fumbles is the next point. Some reports have a nasty verbal exchage when Zimmerman tried to call for help. A professional response likely gets Martin to move on or ascertains where he is going. Let Investigators do their job
I want to point out a thank you to AOW for pointing out that Martin's photos in the press were many years old. The tatoos and gold teeth were not apt to be seen under a hoodie at night, but he was 6'3'' and not 4'2''.
I w ant to point out the difference between Herman Cain who has said let the investigators do their job and the dumb comments of Obama. Saying his kid would look like Martin is that without wall to wall tatoos or gold teeth. A more responsible leader would offer FBI help to a smaller community and like Cain wait until the facts are in.
We don't know what happened on that night. The facts we do know thus far certainly do not point to an intentional cold blooded killing. At worst Zimmerman is Barney Fife whose lack of skill and suitability had tragic consequences for the task at hand. Lets say Martin was casing houses Zimmerman could have persuaded Martin to move on by engaging him verbally or asked what he was doing.
We also know that Zimmerman got beat up badly. This is not his first altercation as he has a history of this as well. Unfortunately, Martin is not around to tell his side and we will likely never know what started the fight. Whether Martin was casing properties, lost or just wandering is all likely to remain unknown as well and really besides the point. The question of what started the fight and if Zimmerman identified himself as the neighborhood watchman or tried to engage verbally is more poignant.

While these names are odd this is a parental choice and plenty of stupid types give dopey names to their kids especially in Hollywood. I love Brooklyn, but would never dream of naming a child Brooklyn. Do we need a Hunts Point Lopez or Queens Jones next. There are plenty of stupid names from parents of all groups.

NYPD vs FBI
I want to point out that the left wing politicians have been waging a merciless jihad against law enforcement. The old days of FBI informants keeping tabs on dangerous political extreemists are long gone to our detriment.
We live in an era where political extreemists acting in concert with shadowy groups seek to kill Americans. We live in an era where dangerous political extreemists seek to damage property and hide behind crowds. We live in an era where narco terrorist governments subsize the tourism of useful idiots to spread their message.
I made many trips to the OWS camps. There was a plan by some of the organizers to storm the couthouses in Foley Square. This is the mother of all bad ideas as the guards are armed and the area may contain the largest amount of armed law enforcement and security guards in NYC. The plan would have led to probable deaths and numerous injuries. Before the vermin could act NYPD placed a ring of barriers with officers in riot gear between the barriers. The proactive precautions saved lives before OWS got out of hand. There were zero attempts to storm the courts and had any been made nobody would have gotten close.
Now there are some ranting and raving about police spying on left wing groups. In this case the information likely gleaned from informants saved lives. These left wing groups contain many prone to violence with lengthy criminal records. This does not mean that NYPD is going to catch every instance of Black Clad anarchists but their chances are better than others. The mere presence of NYPD informmants itself is a detterent and leads to more paranoia within the group.
There has been a spat between the FBI and NYPD over the latters intelligence efforts in the Muslim community. The prospect of NYC getting targeted for terror attacks increases daily. The lessons of 9-11 show that local law enforcement can not relly on the FBI or the CIA to get the job done. One of the secondary goals of the post election congress should be to undo the damage from the post Nixon era restrictions on spying on political extreemists, it should be named the Bill Ayers Act. People traveling abroad to terror camps and behaving like Lori Bernson should be subjected to scrutiny for public safety.

Bird brained Poultry
Once again the bird brained Duck continues to accuse me of sentiments that are at times comedic. According to the Duck I am the planets first Khanist with Hindu family. The Duck as a Communist has selective morality depending on who the victim is.
We seldom write about race because in the view of the author of the blog it should be a non factor in life. I really do not think in terms that divide my nation according to race or class like the Duck. As a moderate I think of a nation of shared values and respect for the wisdoms of our founding fathers. In fact the Duck spends much time ranting about me being an Israel firster in cliche Marxist Antisemitism. Does the Duck express similar complaints about Greeks, Turks or Muslims be whatever firster.
You can look at this blog and we are usually content to let investigative bodies do their jobs. We did not write posts on the Duke Lacross rape mess. We did comment on the rape charge of a morally depraved egomaniacal French Socialist abusing a unionized Hotel maid as this was a local story. The Duck who lectures us about poor working class minorities and a flawed justice system sided with the wealthy Socialist degenerate before any facts were known. Where was the Duck's concern for minorities then?
Over time many things have become known about that case. The media abroad published the name and face of the rape victim. This barbaric practice is an abomination that the sanctimonious far left media elite should be ahamed of. The media and NYPD apparently leaked information from an asylum case to the public. Testimony in asylum cases is a sacred trust and should never be disseminatedin the press. Nobody has ever conveyed a rationale for why NYPD was allowed to look at this information that is supposed to remain private. Release of this information is on an as needs to know basis and why this information was leaked to the far left press in direct violation of the law is abundantly clear.
Unsurprisingly, the woman turned out to have many unsavory details in her bio. The fact that she lied about having AIDS and her income to get subsidized housing is a concern. Relevations about prostitution, money laundering, pyramid scams made the woman a less than credible victim. This does not infer that the Socialist moral degenerate predator did not rape the victim merely that prosecuting a case with such a victim with credibility issues would be a waste of time.
Where was the Duck's concern for the African working class maid assaulted by wealthy socialist French moral degenerate? This story unlike the claims against Herman Cain or Clarence Thomas were reported at the time.

Communist Spin
The latest spin by commies is comparing the US Soldier who flipped out to the killer in France. The US military does not condone this behavior and is prosecuting the soldier to the fullest extent possible. There is likely some form of severe mental illness involved.
The combat soldier had real issues that he personally experienced. The crazed Muslim nut was allegedly outraged by Frances actions in Afghanistan and by Israel's action in Gaza. Israel has been remarkably restrained given the series of provocations. For an actual look at what nations do under similar circumstances look at Grozny. If anything the exagerated press descriptions of Gaza, people who have water parts and luxury malls can not be claiming starvation, are directly culpable.
Sorry, but living in a Western society requires some manners. You do not get to butcher your neighbors because policies of the government upset you. The action of the lunatic in France are quite similar to the antics of Americann Traitor and moron Bill Ayers. Ayers did attempt to bomb US troops but luckily it killed his fellow terrorists. Ayers dementia linked his crminal acts to a war he disagreed with abroad.
The French are supposedly going to crack down on people in terrorist web sites and who make pilgrimages to terror training camps. This is an action long overdue. It would be nice if our government followed suit. Don't expect the government to prosecute future Lori Berensons because Communist terrorists seem to get a free pass.

The media speculation about Neonazis shooting up a school in France was amusing. Actual Neonazis are far more apt to run around in their Waffen SS underoos and are too busy playing with their Leggo Concentration Camp kids to be commiting crimes. Mostly they run about in varrying states of intoxification denying the Holocaust on the Web and live in a reality somewhere between the Producers and Dungeons and Dragons. Crimes by actual Nazis in recent memory may be the shooting at the Holocaust museum. Brevik was not a Nazi and more about mental illness than coherent thought.

Home Stretch
I am either two or four weeks away from returning to my beloved office. These details away do not agree with me and take a toll on my physical and mental health. Oddly, they have helped my case for redemption for whatever slings and arrows were tossed my way. My dedication to the public and ease with the public were noticed on this trip away.
I broke my previous record of fixing something that was messed up for 41 years with a case that had been messed up for at leat 50 years. Sometimes the applicant and the government talk past each other and both sides forget the path of least resistance. If I ever had my doubts about the value of personal touch this trip cured me of those delusions. In this case the applicant was given the choice of the local office or HQ. The applicant chose to come to HQ and I personally arranged the rest. I calmed the applicant and told him that if he is comfortable with this officer he can stay with us or I can make arrangements closer to home. The officer who was helping me was really top notch and the applicant decided to stay with us. A lifetime in circles will be resolved with a friendly voice and a warm hand shake.
I have spent time working with peers in other agencies with high profile cases. The idea is to stay organized and to get these cases moving in the right direction. In many cases the needs are modest and quickly resolved. In general a warm greeting and a sincere desire to serve are all that is needed. My stash of Diet Mountain Dew is ready and I have bags of my favorite chips waiting.
There is a good chance I will be stuck for two extra weeks. In the big scheme it matters not one bit because home is near. I will see friends that I missed for a while. Waiting for Ducky to say something about Surf Music. I brought the stuff to Guyana where the locals didn't get it. However cruising down a deserted river listening to classic surf music was great. For reasons I don't grasp the locals never let me drive.
I broke my previous record of fixing something that was messed up for 41 years with a case that had been messed up for at leat 50 years. Sometimes the applicant and the government talk past each other and both sides forget the path of least resistance. If I ever had my doubts about the value of personal touch this trip cured me of those delusions. In this case the applicant was given the choice of the local office or HQ. The applicant chose to come to HQ and I personally arranged the rest. I calmed the applicant and told him that if he is comfortable with this officer he can stay with us or I can make arrangements closer to home. The officer who was helping me was really top notch and the applicant decided to stay with us. A lifetime in circles will be resolved with a friendly voice and a warm hand shake.

Moron and Traitor Hanoi Jane Casts Stones at Rush
In the most ironic development traitor Hanoi Jane whose hits include calling tortured POWs liars and aiding and abeting a criminal element whose human rights abuses were well known wants Rush Limbaugh taken off the air.
The purpose of the Limbaugh show is entertainment and the Fluke comments were likely a regretable excercize in bad taste in the attempt to elicit a punch line. Fluke is also a law student recieving likely recieving public subsidized student loans. Her college, has the right to decide what type of coverage it wants to offer. The government need not intervene in the afairs of religious or private institutions and create a never ending list of entitlements. Similarly, there are those who advocate aromatherapy, accupunture and shamans with dead animal parts also be covered under insurance plans. Like Obamas claims about Conservatives who nobody has ever met, seeking extreeme positions that nobody can recall, I made up the last part and lifted it from the academic Marxist playbook seems to use every time he wants to increase the size of government and look moderate.
Limbaugh readily apologized for his actions and the sanctimonious law student can go to hell. Unlike Limbaugh Fonda slandered our POW's who were tortured by her Communist friends in a criminal attempt to undermine US foreign policy. If President Nixon were truly tyranical he would have tried Fonda and many others who aided and abeted a foreign enemy, killing and torturing US soldiers. The real Nixon was a patient man who did attempt to have a rational dialouge with Vietnam protesters who in fact were communist led. While the Constitution does allow peaceful protests many of these protests were by design not peaceful. Lost in the lefty claims about Kent State were the vandalism, arson and pelting National Guardsmen with stones. Unfortunately, the people shot were far away and unlikely involved in biating armed troops. Baiting cops who then respond with force is an old lefty tactic. Left unsaid in the last over the top example at OWS were the people Pepper sprayed did not listen to NYPD instructions multiple times. Of course the part of the cops telling people to stop illegally blocking traffic did not make the video. If anything NYPD was way too restrained given the constaant provokation of the OWS folks.
Lost in the discussion about Shamar Thomas and Captain Lewis is abusing your uniform in violation of the law. I do not get to wear my work logo at a parade or protest because to do so violates the Hatch act. In the case of Thomas and Lewis they are both no longer associated with the organizations and have not been so for four years. Just where was Thomas when some of these same Communists were calling his fellow Marines war criminals. Did he say a peep to the folks at Code Pinko for giving money and medical aid to the folks shooting at his fellow Marines in Falujah. Lewis and Thomas have the right to protest, just not in uniforms they haven't worn in years. Supposedly, it is propper to wear one's uniform at a military or police funeral or wedding. Thomas is a John Kerry wannabe without the fake accent and the ability to take a decent shave.

Defining Deviancy Downward in the Age of Obama

Media BS
Most of us grasp the American essence is of individual rights handed down in our founding documents. Our country is open to all who share those values and respect others. Communists, Racial power nuts and theocrats do not share those values and are not American even when they spend lifetimes in our country.
My dispute with a former friend who attempted to pollute partiotism with the foul ideas of racialism. The media and the public readily grasp the foul ideas of Stormfront, Amren and so forth. Those of you who think that those on the right enorse this crap should witness a true American Patriot like Mr. B kicking the crap out of the KKK morons.
We have a President who has supported the mirror image of the KKK type racialism. He has never come out and explained his support for an off the planet racialist group rights far left Prof. Bell. Obama regularly used his writtings as required readings for classes he taught. How a person with vulgar anti american core values was ever hired at a top University remains a mystery. Would the same University have accomodated a Prof. with similar statements with the races reversed, not likely.
Fast forward the same bug eyed radical student sits in a racist church for decades and doesn't notice the racial venom spewed from its pastor and the vulgar anti-Americanism that is a core value of the cult church. The media allowed Obama to describe Pastor Wright as a nutty beloved Uncle. Sorry, but a White President pulling this routine would have been finnished.
The media never went near the Bill Ayers story. Describing a famed terrorist as Bill from the neighborhood and an educator is a laughable excuse we would not accept from an 8 year old. Gibbs: The Marine had his head severed outside a Mosque where he prayed five times a day.
Ducky: It was a false flag opperation by the Mossad.

The Obsession with Jews
Despite claims of moral superiority Communists are about as obsessed with Jews as you average KKK nut and usually less sane. The entire obsession with Palestine is basically a Marxist cover for traditional anti semitism.
There are plenty of genuine indigenous people with clear cases for their own nation. However, Marxists contrived a fake ethnicity out of thin air in 1964 and have been repeating the same story.
What makes the so called Palestinian case more pressing than the Kurds or any other genuine indigenous people with languages and historical identities going back over 1000 years. It is quite revealing to look at the responses of Communists when these genuine indigenous people state their cases and get arrogantly dismissed.
Communists are no different from Nazis or KKK clowns. There is no need for geniality or feigning civility as one should not lend this to political criminals. The presumtion that Communists are morally superior or have any basis for their ideas is erroneous. Communists should be abused and ridiculed just like the other political

I an rather amused by those speculating on my nationality. In my case my family has been here for three generations and the answer is American. However, I can say with pride that I am from Brooklynistan.
Now some of you think there is no such nation. However, people have been calling themselves Brooklynites long before Arabs started calling themselves Palestinians. In fact the Brittish used that term to describe Jews living in lands they were indigenous to. How does one occupy lands that they are indenous to in the first place?

My Issues With Romney
Most of you know I am not a Conservative. Thus I am more apt to vote for a more centerist candidate like Romney. However, Romney is a disturbing candidate whose sole campaign seems to be I am electable.
1) Romney needs to spell out that there will be no Paulists in his administration. In fact while the other candidates have been vocal on denouncing Pauls insane views Romney has said zero. Mark Levin has even pointed out in debates it appears that Romney and Paul are working to tag team opponents.
2) What is the Romney program? His program seems to be little more than I am not Obama.
3) He seems as wooden as Al Gore.
4) No clue about his foreign policy ideas. I am not Obama is a great start but not enough.

Rare Post on Race
I don't write about race because it is not part of my thought process. I believe in an America where all rights are granted to individuals not groups. We do not live in a perftect society and discrimination does exist. However, I am not in favor for lowering standards strictly to achieve diversity. My America seeks equality of opportunity and grasps that opportunity and outcomes are two different things.
I am quite amused to find the cartoon Recidivist who used to write on Shakespeares Sister has now become kookier than Yeagley. The former imbecile of the left has reinvented himself as a white power/ Brittish Nationalist. A Brittish Nationalist who is not Brittish is loopier than a 1/2 white, white supremacist. Yeagley has some bad ideas, but Holocaust Denial and mindless Jooo Mania are not amongst them. The only constant in the wacky world of 167 is the all consuming Jooo obsession. The truth is those obsessed with Palestine are really just Anti0semites who are mosty Commies with a few Nazis mixed in.
I read about the idiotic rantings of racial power loons and am thankful that my Americanism is based on a common set of shared ideals open to all regardless of race. Communists, Nazis, Theocrats and Anarchists do not share these ideals and are never American in any definition.

Tough Days Ahead
I have managed to survive this idiotic three month assignment so far. The work is unrelated to my actual job and many are annoyed by these diversions. The worst is over and I have one more week at the assignment known as the grinder. The grinder is a nasty assignment where the senior officer is the Captain and it is all about work ethic. Normally I take Wed off to lower my blood pressure as this work is annoying and degrading. As this work is so brutal I would not ask a respected peer to take a bullet for me. My fellow detailees are great people and it makes it easy.
Thus far I have survived on warrior drive and alot of Diet Mountain Dew. The Hallal Truck also has been good and has an ample supply of well done lamb with Basmati rice late in the day. My lunch orders are apparently so unique that the local merchants know who it is for even when I can't make it. Apparently not too many people order Chicken salad on Pumpernicked Texas Toast with sliced pickles or roast beef on grilled rye with a touch of BBQ Sauce.
I may be held over for an extra two weeks, for being defiant. I will not state a lousy idea is great for political expediency. The people who thought up this idiocy should be terrminated. No functional entity should have an Army of Yes men.
In April I am going to DC to spend time at the Museum of the Native American. It is sad that the popular magazines devote little space to the Abenakis.

Gas prices have exploded under the failed Presidents watch. Reducing gas prices for the consumer is quite easy. Increasing domestic energy consumption creates jobs and keeps prices lower for all Americans.
The truth is that Obama really is so beholden to his far left environmental freakazoid friends that he really misses the boat on this one. Many of his friends are more interested in keeping gas prices high so that their hero Hugo does not get deposed.
Gasoline taxes are a leftist assault on the lives of rural Americans. When I was in Vermont it was not uncommon to have coworkers who drove 50 miles to work each way. The notion that the government should tax fuel to decrease consumption is in reallity akin to lefties telling rural folks let them eat tofu.
Rouge nations like Iran have no respect for President Wet Noodle. The military has continued to do a good job despite his inept leadership. Iran is free to saber rattle and support terrorists and the thug regime in Syria. Left unsaid is that the thug regime in Syria is a far left supported and approved tyranny. The usual amount of verbiage said by commies, like Duncy, about Syria is zero while they drone on and on about them Jews and Arabs demanding more ethnically cleansed real estate.
While Americans are being fleeced at the pump what do the Bolshevik media morons feed us "Limbaugh Called a Woman a Slut". Lost in the translation, lefties trying to force birth control pills as an insurance mandate. Of course the more things mandated onto policies the higher premiums become. Sorry, but with the outrageous tuition costs subsidized by the public these costs are trivial.

Profiloing of Muslims
There is a certain amount of far left outrage about NYPD monitoring Muslims groups. If the truth be told the first job of the police is to protect the public. Terrorism has basically two major components Islam and
Marxism/ Anarchism. Not every member of these groups is a threat to the public but law enforcement has the right to due dillegence.
One of the problems with the end of the Cold War is that when it ended GW Bush senior made no effort to gain acess to the files of the former Soviet Union and show exactly how much treason the far left in the USA was guilty of for decades. Now that we have a KGB man running the show in Moscow we are not likely to get those files.
There are plenty of Muslim Patriots like Stephen Schwartz of the CIP. Do ordinary people going about their ordinary lives care if NYPD has a dosier that says Ahmed X prays four times a day and likes Strawberry Pancakes at IHOP. Person Y went to the library and read the Communist Manifesto and Wuthering Heights. Person Z was critical of US environmental policy and led a protest at KFC. These are ordinary facts in everyday lives. Now if the NYPD started looking at the drug habits of student radicals this is an ordinary law enforcement area.
I would also like to change the laws regarding student visas. Students arrested for vandalism in protests should be deported. Students arrested three times for any reason including disorderly conducts and protests should be deported and barred from the USA for five years. Students who enter the USA should post bond
that their college is liable for should they fail to return home. If a student gets legal status or returns home the money should be returned.
Sorry, but in this day and age of high stakes terrorism routine scrutiny is part of the new reality. Do I really care if the government keeps tabs on my routine. Went to restroom at 11:11 and read the Crankfiles at 2pm. Big deal

Twice In a Lifetime
The Victor Cruz story was the improbable story of an athlette not even considered worthy of a combine invite becoming a star. Much of the story rest with his hard work that he did with Eli Manning in NJ durring the strike. Not all the players showed the dedication but Cruz attended nearly every practice. Still the team did not feel confident in giving the unknown a chance and they brought in a grizled vet Brandon Stokely who did next to nothing before getting hurt and cut. All of us know how the story ends with a Superbowl. Cruz probably won't have another year like this again but it was charming.
The Knicks have been the poster child for over paid self important athlettes. The team is owned by the dumbest man in NYC whose sole claim to fame is his father founded a cable company. Out of nowhere comes a Chinese American point guard from Harvard who was ignored in the NCAA. He has had some week beating players who are household names. NY never quite experienced anything like Fernando mania or the Bird Fydrich type of rookies. When one works in professions certain ethical rules prevent abusing your position. Thus when I go to a protest I leave the work gear at home. Wearing my agency sweater at whatever protest would presume agency endorsement of whatever.
Now I do admit the sweater is so darned comfortable I do wear it while watching a sporting event or two at the local Greek Diner. I probably shouldn't do that either but rooting for the Yankees while eating spinach pie is fun.
Public employees are not permitted to abuse their position for personal gain or publicity. I can not endorse a product in my official capacity. If I could it would be Mountain Dew.
Captain Lewis has violated these rules multiple times and should lose his pension. His department has told him multiple times stop wearing your uniform at OWS events and he refuses to heed multiple warnings. He is also urging fellow police officer to disobey orders while in that uniform which is another serious issue.

Insert your own laugh track
Barak Obama has claimed that Bill Ayers "is a guy from the neighborhood and an educator". We can say the same thing about noted actor Ron Jeremy. Jeremy lived not to far from me and actually earned his credentials in education, unlike Lord Fauntleroy Ayers whose fathers donations and nepotism likely had some impact on his hiring.
The fact is Ayers is a well known and loathsome terrorist. His claims that his actions were somehow related to the Vietnam war are false. He fancied himself a revolutionary in a country where his rights to peacefully organize are protected. The Che Guevara wanna be makes dubious claims about property damage except noting the criminals blown up in the town house were planning on sending a package to Fort Dix.
Describing Ayers as an educator is quite akin to calling Ron Jeremy an educator. Jeremy did work as a teacher but is clearly knoiwn for something else. Would the media give a free pass to someone making this dubious claim.
I appologize in advance to Ron Jeremy for using him in satire with the loathsome Bill Ayers. Jeremy has never indulged in actual violence or has ever fancied himself as Robin Hood. He can honestly claim to have earned an honest days pay for hard work, unlike Ayers.

Is this just another one of the Obama mysteries that the media just ignores like his missing college transcripts. How did a person with mediocre grades at Occidental get into those prestigious schools?
Now there are some false hypocritical lefties all worked up about Peter Brimelow at CPAC. Did the same folks express any concern about a President who sat rapt in a Church with a Pastor Spewing anti American Black Liberation Theology. Did the same crew say a word about a President addressing La Razza? Did they say a word about seperatists and Marxists at that group.
Brimelow has some nasty Unamerican ideas. However, if we pretend that those ideas are nasty and that Back Liberation theology or Hispanic separatists are just flavor of the month it is hypocrisy.

The Clint Eastwood Comercial
I didn't see the commercial as pro Obama. I saw the ad as a vauge plug for a revitalized car industry and a buy American ad. My criticism was the Chrysler logo came way at the end so if it was an ad the ad poorly conveyed whose product was pitched.
A note to the ad men. The Sienfeld ad would have been better if Newman had got the car at the end. The Coca Cola polar bears stunk. Elton John is not a great pitch man unless he is making fun of his over the top personality.

Why America likes the Giants
The Giants are the team that is not supposed to be there. They had a 9-7 record and injuries by the score. Yet the face of the franchise is the calm Eli Manning who is supposed to be the third best Quarter back in the Manning household.
In reality Brady carried a team of a few good players and a bunch of nobodies to a near superbowl win. He didn't have a great game and the throw to Welker was not even a good one. He spent much of the night running from the Giants. He is lucky that Canty never got close. Pierre Paul missed him a few times and Linvail Joseph missed him twice. He should not be confused with a QB like Michael Vick who can run to safety or Rothlisberger who can absorb brutal hits or Tebow who han do both.
The Patriots have interesting pieces but that is about it. They have benefitted from playing in a weak confrence where only Rex's mental ward can sometimes make a challenge. If Miami gets a real Quarterback they could easily win the division.
On offense the Patriots have four top players. Brady, Gronk, Hernandez and Welker. The best of the linemen was Waters who signed from KC. None of the Running Backs would even make the Giants roster.
The Giants line has aged but Snee is still a top player who has had a bad game or two. Other than Welker none of the recievers matches up with the Giants core. The Tight Ends are world class but Gronk was hurt on Superbowl Sunday.
On defense it is basicaly Wolfork, Mayo and perhaps Chung and the rest is ordinary. The Giants line and secondary is better than the Patriots. The Giants LBs are substandard other than Boley and Williams.They have an extra DE playing LB because they have so much talent on the line.
This next part may sound cruel but even on beauty Eli Mannings wife looks better than Ms. Brady. I never quite understood why Giselle is considered such an icon. Football wives and mothers should be seen on Chunky Soup commercials and not in the sports pages. It is funny and even wholesome when Kurt Warners
mom or someone elses makes a soup commercial. Ripping team mates is something sports writers and fans should do. Sorry, Giselle but the ball thrown to Welker was not in the greatest spot and required a circus catch. Welker tried his best and makes these catches frequently.
The truth is the Patriots are an ordinary team coached by the best. They have over achieved and were beaten by a better team.
Super Models should be seen and not heard. Giselle is not Pam Oliver or even a knowlegeable sideline commentator. For my money I preferhaving a fun ex jock on the sideline like Siragusa who can be funny at times to the reporter types like Pam Oliver. Football is supposed to be fun and shame on NBC for not finding a role for Phil Simms who unlike Aikman knows what he is doing.
Note to Fox please stop inflicting the imbecile Troy Aikman on the NY Audience and get Dierdorf, Matt Millen or anyone else with a pulse in the booth.

I really hate the Knicks and their idiot owner. Unfortunately this Asian point guard who is playing smart and hard is someone worthy of a fan base. Hopefully, they will trade Lin and he can be placed on a more deserving team owned by an adult.

Giants Win
I honestly thought that the Patriots would win this one. Belechikck is the greaest QB of this era and Brady is one of the all time best ever QB. Had he not run into the Giants we would be mentioning him with Montana and Bradshaw.
In the early part of the game I noticed Brady looked frightened. The Giants were in his head and despite two long drives he was not himself. I wish those bashing Welker would strop. If the Patriots lost it had more to do with Brady than Welkrt.

The evolution of a lunatic
When this blog first encountered the gay dane from the UK he was posing as a man of the left. His central obsession was always Jews. He has deleted his blogs and changed his name multiple times.
The truth is that his obsessions are quite obvious in any encounter. Thus when he infested the site of Rob Bayn and Justin it did not take too long for them to spot a person with reality issues. Rob Bayn may be to the left, but just the same he doesn't tollerate mindless cliche anti amaericanism and general idiocy. Thus claims that gays in Iran and other places in the Muslim world were all guilty of other offenses does not pass scruitiny.
167 has gone from defending communism on the site of the Chemist to ranting about Jewish Bolshevism on another forum. His latest bit is actual Holocaust denial while championing Norman Maoist Finklestein.
Watching Holocaust Deniers and Truthers is like watching a train wreck. Their technique is to demand moiuntains of evidence and cling to idiotic points year after year while shrieking we are only asking questions. I am kind of sorry the Chemist and all of his dullard friends are not around to see this act.

Time to say goodbye Paultards
The GOP voters have spoken and the numbers in a smaller field speak loudly and clearly. It is time for the racial arsonists, commies, jew haters, confederate apologists, truthers and tin foil hat brigade to get out of the GOP. There is no place in the party for this kind of human garbage.

I am an American. My country is open to all who share a common set of ideals. We don't have second class citizens on the basis of race or religion.
