What the ........

The first thing I notice is unlike the roads in Jersey or NY the roads are covered with ice. I make my way through gently with a car pressing me. I get into town Main Street is blocked off with 13 foot high piles of snow. It snowed 20'' and it is being loaded into dump trucks.

Northwind let herself in on Saturday and is passed out. Earl wants to be fed and has not touched any of the dry food.

I missed a good one in town.

Earl won't touch the dry food?

Someone's getting spo-iled..

My dog, who I found as a frozen, starving skeleton of a near-dead puppy in Bed-Stuy now won't eat popcorn without butter on it. So there you go!

As soon as in Earl is front and center looking for food. I grab a sandwich Earl is looking for something.

TMW I left the beer under the sink. Who would look for it there?

UI

I had given up finding Earl before the storm but as soon as I reach for food he appears. He likes human food for better or worse.

Ducky

I was on the road at all times unlike many with Quebec and Vermont plates.

Beak,
Have you heard about the pet food recall? Don't feed Earl anything sliced and/or in gravy. Canned cat food, I mean.

Feed him Purina!

All the tainted food supposedly comes from an outfit in Canada that makes several brand name foods such as Iams and Eukanuba.

Its amazing, the shear number of non-driving idiots that appear after a good snow. They have no business driving at all but yet they insist on endangering everyone else.

The tainted food had wheat gluten from a new supplier. What the heck is wheat gluten doing in wet cat food?
For dogs, rice cooked with chicken or ground beef and garlic.
Cats, a little chicken roasted or boiled lightly, and finely chopped!
Cheaper and you have an idea of where it came from!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

BTW-Beaker, change the locks and put the beer outside the door! Northwind needs to grow up and become responsible for her own fate, quit enabling her!

Earl seems to want human food such as Chicken Parm, Rost Beef and oddly liverwurst.

TMW

Northwind does as she does and if it weren't me it would be someone else.

I am trying to figure out how what appears to be a bridge ended up in Earl's litter box. The cat did not eat it but maybe I don't want to know.

It is going to snow again so Earl is indoors. I gave him some Meatloaf. He seems to like his food warm.

Beaker-Sometimes cats express their opinions of certain objects by depositing them in the to go tray!
I'm more concerned about you! Northwind is a user, don't be her enabler, lessen the number of people she can use! THEN she might have to actually DO something with herself!

I am sure she will be in her own place today. There is nothing for her to do by me.

Good, there is a BIG difference between helping an animal that needs it, and helping a person who is going through a rough spot, but the willfully parasitical need to grow up!

Hi Beaker, how have you been? Yeah, the roads here in Jersey don't stay ice covered for long. They shouldn't, Lord knows we pay enough in taxes for 'em to be plowed! As to cats(and dogs) I figure that dogs must think "Wow,you feed me, care for me when I'm sick, play with me,you must be a God!'' And cats figure "You feed me, take care of me,play with me, I must be a God'' At least my two act that way. J'Mac

J'Mac-Dogs come when called, cats have an answering service.
