It is official Tommorow We Will Roast Felis

Tommorow will mark the return of a much beloved segment the Dean Martin blog roast of Felis from Democracy Front Line. Our crack team of experts is hard at work preparing for the festivities. MZ has been driving the scenic roads in search of the finest roadkill. Warren is preparing the cheap booze for the festivity. Nanc is trying on several sequined outfits.

We all need to get in line and celebrate the good old Polish tradition of jumping naked into the freshly cut hole on the frozen lake to see who turns blue the quickest---or is that Russian?

Can't wait Beaker!

And what am I? Chopped liver? I said I'd bring dessert! Jeez, and roadkill in Florida at this time of year? It'll be cooked before Beamish can get a hold of it. Need to talk to someone in a cooler climate. Nanc- Waxing Felis! What have you got against poor little old tazzies? I wouldn't blame him if he took off for the hills!
Otherwise it looks like a fun time will be had by all, except plucky, he's forgotten how to have fun!

Oh, BTW, phoenixfire said he'd bring jetskikill, you know; manatee(tastes like chicken), shark(fresh tastes like kittykabobs), seaweed for the salad and any stray birds!

Jeez, I pitched a perfectly good (well it was only sitting in the backyard til I noticed the smell) possum in the canal yesterday...

Felis to be roasted? You can bet that I'll be on hand for this one.

No way I'm cooking a possum, Purple Avenger.

I'll tell the embarrassing story one last time.

One time I went to cook a possum. I skinned it. I gutted it I rubbed it with tenderizer. I battered it. And I spiced it.

And just when I was about to toss it in the fryer, the bastard jumped up and bit me.

They play dead, y'know.

ME?
Aawwwww, me again?
(Blushing profoundly )

Nanc,
Did you say chestnuts waxing?
You’re naughty, cruel thing you!! (Blushing profoundly again )

Florian,
You must still hold a grudge for the battle of Somosierra.
Please do not accuse us (Polacks) of jumping naked into the freshly cut hole on the frozen lake. We might be stupid but not THAT stupid.
Firstly it is not ‘lake’ but RIVER
Secondly it is not Poles but Russians.
Thirdly we do not JUNMP but throw!!!
Get it?

TMW

I have had one hour of sleep in two days. I am quite well rested now forgive my oversight

Beaker- What you trying to do? Shorten your life? Would you please go take a nap or something. Oh, I'm withdrawing my vacation idea, I live on the south side of an AF base! The jets, helicopters, KC 135's etc. etc., not conducive to a restful time! They train parajumpers so we also get explosions and firing of various weapons! Mr. Beamish would probably love it, but not always restful if you're not used to it!
I'm more concerned about your health, but apology accepted. I was yanking your chain anyway! Just being snarky! Love ya!

I was preparing for a test. In order for me to be a candidate for a permanent position I had to sit for an examination.

The test has an 85% failure rate so I am not optimistic. If I am one of the lucky few who pass I remain a candidate for three years
but may or may not be chosen.

May G*D have mercy and bless your efforts!

Haha you busted me Felis. I knew it was Russian the whole time, I just figured I'd irritate you a bit since I know Polaks hate Russians for the most part.
As for the battle of Somosierra, yeah that one still hurts a bit--even to this day. My country was well past it's Zenith by then and our army was so disorganized. We still suffer from it to this day since the modern "Spanish" monarchs are really French.
