The consequences of intimidation and press conivance

Many of of are learning that Rueters has suspended Adnan Hajj for doctoring Beirut Photos. The question is why isn't he being fired. This is not a question of incompetance or a regretable mistake this is fraud. Does Rueters even care about its own version of Jayson Blair.

A larger question should be why is Rueters even relying on Adnan Hajj and other locals at all. This is a direct result of the Hezbollah spate of kidnappings of Westerners. Even in the PA translators must be approved by the government. Are we getting honest news or State sponsored media approved by Hezbollah.

If one wants to see more malfeasence one can go to EUreferendum.blogspot.com.

This same Adnan Hajj has a lengthy history of doctoring photos and placing misleading captions. A perfect example is the labeling of heat flares rockets. Hajj also takes the same flare and paces it in the picture three times.

We also have the further adventures of Green Helmet. Is Green Helmet magically in all of these places where the press congregates. What are the mathematical odds that the same rescue worker is going to spend time at two convenient massacres. Are these photographers following Green Helmet around. Who is Green Helmet and is he a Hezbollah official?

What we are now getting is the adoption of the classic Commie tactic of media manipulation made famous in Vietnam. The difference is people have a blogosphere and the Adnan Hajjs will not get away with the tactics of the far left in Vietnam.

Is Reuters employing a local Hezbollah sympathizer? Is it time to demand more from our wire services? Maybe the answer is that the era of MSM is over there share is dwindling because people can not trust them.

Hajj [at Reuters] was fired but the employee who threatened the owner of LGF was suspended.

Due to the party weekend, I didn't watch any news, read any blogs, or even take a gander at the newspaper, so I missed all of the info about Reuters! I can't say that I'm surprised, however.

Lousy PR, Beak. Screwed up again.

Beak, do you have background on the photographer? I know film and my friends know film. That shot was a wicked hack job.

As I have said, the image itself had virtually no influence of import but the controversy has been the arena.

Now are you willing to say this "photographer" had no connections to organizations "unfriendly" to muslims.

Please note that your opinion is not being requested. We know where your emotions are but I am a leftist so I live the life of the mind and logical inquiry. This guy could have been just a talentless hack or there could be more going on. Do you have factual background?

Oh my anonymous you seem confuesd. Let's review:

1. A trivial photo is doctored for effect and printed. It's a poor job and it's discovered as the original manipulator might expect.

2. The "blogosphere" (aka Anonymous's La-la Land) starts questioning all photos from the IDF invasion.

3. Now think carefully: What was the objective of doctoring the photo and what are the allegiances of the perpertrator.

You are a bit obtuse but I hope this helps you think more clearly on this issue.

Reuters has a long history of prejudice towards American and Israeli interests--this is hardly a surprise. I just saw the doctored photos on FOXNEWS and a little kid could make those using Microsoft paint programs.
Now Reuters has more egg on it's face as they just admited to more doctored stories and photos--sounds like the NYT all over again.

The left has to make up news to attempt to makes it's points, and it's failing miserably.

C'mon Ducky, quote the director's cut:

Meanwhile Lebanon's elite military force known as Hezbollah has not invaded the homes of Israeli civilians, despite weeks of battlefield preparation with targeted missile attacks.

Lebanese Defense Secretary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah declined to comment on his military's inability to achieve any strategic traction in the conflict as Israel continues to dismantle key elements of its command and control structure.

"I don't want to put ourselves on a concrete timetable to destroy Israel that might give hope to our enemies," he said.

Beak,
You may already be aware of it, but you might want to take a look at this.

I'm still trying to catch up from my three-day news blackout.

missure Che Sucky Ducky, let's reiterate:

Hizbulla, commies, and other neer do wells have for the last... years consistently doctored photos, lied, coerced people, falsified documents... to create their propaganda world beneficial to them.

More currently we have caught Hizbulla or those connected to Islam fake a massacre at Qana, fake the shooting of Muhammad al Durah, fake a massacre at Jenin, fake a massacre on the Gaza beach, fake a photo posted by Reuters (when found Reuters does a search and finds another photo that has been doctored and others with misleading captions and fires the man who has worked for them for more than a year during two periods of conflict), fake attacks on 2 ambulances (one ambulance has never been proven to exist)

Well, it is very good as hopefully those who have been so determined to believe that the MSM are so definitive will begin to doubt these lying, partisan temples of LEFTISM.

You keep trying to claim that it doesn't matter because the picture really didn't show anything bad. Well, if I saw a picture of someone shooting you in the groin, I wouldn't think that was so bad either. If it really happened you might not have the same attitude. It is all relative is it not??

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

missure Che Sucky Ducky expounds:

"3. Now think carefully: What was the objective of doctoring the photo and what are the allegiances of the perpertrator."

The objective of doctoring the photo is that these morons (similar to you) have the idea that if they continuously make everything a little worse than it actually is, it makes people believe bad stories a little easier to the point that Israel is always WRONG.

Much like I do with LAUGHING at your stupid, factually challenged posts. Eventually, I and others here, will have conditioned those reading these blogs to automatically assume that you are WRONG!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You CHE MORON!!!!

Com on back now ya hear?!?!?!?!?!

The photographer in question IS Hezbollah.
No other photographers are allowed.
The MSM receives material form Hezbollah's PR dept. and publishes it as facts.

Apparently Che Sucky Ducky is having fits that none of us have come up with a couple other possibilities.

1) this man is NOT working for Hizbulla. He did this on his own, kinda like the Muslims shooting people in the US on their own!!

2) this is an intelligence operation by the CIA to discredit Reuters and the MSM.

Well Che Sucky, we are just gonna have to say that WE WIN if these are the true scenarios also.

You see, if it is scenario one it furthers our arguments that it is the Quran and "normal" teaching that is dangerous and must be suppressed.

If it is scenario two, whether the public finds out the truth or not they will stop believing in the MSM as unbiased, PROFESSIONAL organisations that can be depended on for the TRUTH, or at least, unvarnished FACTS!!! Which is the REALITY of the MSM.

Yup MR Sucky, WIN-WIN-WIN for our side!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You Che MORON!!!!!
