Straight Ahead

I am working on setting up an interview with Sonia. I do get all sorts of international hits on this blog from her site. Those of you offeneded by nudity are encouraged to skip this particular interview.

Sonia is an articulate woman whose anti-communism may surpass my ouwn. The interview will focus on anti-communism and a range of topics that do not appear on this blog often. Sonia is very interested in art, architecture and films. She tends to favor those with nudity.

One of the challenges of doing an interview is presenting interesting information that informs and entertains the readers. I do not know how this interview will go over with regular readers. However, I can honestly predict that people who do read will certainly not be bored. Note to poultry we will not spend much time on obscure foreign films.

I am also changing the pattern of my visits. I intend to spend more time with AOW, Mustang, Rob and on Democracy Frontline. Communities evolve over time and it is amazing how long the peace lasted in our core community. The recent dust storm is over and we will move ahead.

Many times I wonder if a man I consider to be a hero, Richard Poe, knows that his cast of charachters still exist as a community. Maybe someday he will drop in and say hello to the many old friends and greet the new ones. The other day someone asked a question about theocracy. Yet when we try to define the ancients in a modern context something is lost in the translation. We have similar arguments on what were
Native Americans on Bad Eagle all the time. Far leftists paint a neo-marxist light
on Native American societies. Yet there was also trade and self reliance was practiced by Native Americans long before there was contact with the Europeans. Mr Poe handled such abstract ideas with ease. He is building a new site and I will keep all of you updated.

Naked women? I guarantee the upcoming interview will have lots of comments.

tends to favor??? Now that's a bit of an understatement.

I don't mind nudity...it's gratuitous nudity I object to. If she's a Spartan or an Olympian, she's welcome to wear anything she wants or go nude.

But if she wears nudity for the same reasons other people wear clothes...

Plato, "Gorgias"...

Cookery, then, I maintain to be a flattery which takes the form of medicine; and attiring, in like manner, is a flattery which takes the form of gymnastic, and is knavish, false, ignoble, illiberal, working deceitfully by the help of lines, and colours, and enamels, and garments, and making men affect a spurious beauty to the neglect of the true beauty which is given by gymnastic.

There will be questions on nudity and art. A Renoir is not the same as a Hustler photograph.

Russet

I can surmise that you will be reading this interview. I was unaware of your interest in art.

Sonia

I left the comment in your blog. I would like to set it up for Thursday.

Newtons show is better than my jokes. If Don Rickles is playing I would go but not sit in the front.

I never was a big fan of the magic shows.

It is now 13 degrees and getting colder. It will be like this for ten days.

I assure you that this interview will cover some odd topics like art that are not hot topics.

I'm not offended by Nudity, just offended when Clinton's fat chicks go nude, thats just scary and wrong, it's like at least a sin!

nudity, used as a cry for "hey, everybody look at me!" i find disgusting. its being displayed as a form of exhibition is rather tacky. of course, i didn't always feel this way and have some grand photos of myself less than clad, but they are for nancpop's appreciation only.

this is a do as you feel society - to each his own, right?

Oh, look. She's nekkid, but is that really her?

The best way to discover new blogs is through the bloggers that tell about them.

Nice find. I checked out her blog, good reading stuff there.

I'll admit that I like what Sonia has to say about communism, and her nudity is not hard to look at. She's like the anti-anonymous blogger.

Still, I'm kinda shy around naked girls so I just lurk at her site.

Mr B

I asked her to don the Mr Beamish gas mask but she said no. She is a capitalist and has some very far left types on her site.

I did not know you read that one. I know AC visited and now Steve has visited. She is very intersting when she talks bout politics and art.

Nanc

I will delve into the questions of
nudity with Sonia. The line between art and pornography is hard at times. I doubt anyone would call a Renoir pornography in this day and age. Renoir is not Hustler but that is another story.

Beak,
I am also changing the pattern of my visits....

I need to get back to visiting some of my regular stops. Work has settled down, but family matters and my PT schedule are taking up a lot of my time.

I look forward to seeing more of you at my site!

I started looking at Sonia, er Sonia's blog, when you provided a link.

Mr B

Her site is intersting but requires
more than a straight foward look.

I read Playboy for the articles. ;)

Mr B

I do not read the discussions of film. I do glance at the architecture posts and those of paintings.

He political posts are very good and she works in one tough locale.
I will not slam the poster but she has one that I should do beer shots at the absurdities he posts.

She does get some hate posts from the far left as well.

Beak ~!

As a special request, out of all the questions you ask her: ask if that is her in the pic!

beakerkin said...

Steve

I do not think that is her. However, I will ask that question.

There's this bar across the river in Illinois where the girls are naked and if you give them a dollar they go flirt with someone else.

I do not think that is her. However, I will ask that question
.

Men of little faith... Let me quote you some Scriptures: 'Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed' (John 20, 25)...

I worked in the fashion industry so I am not shy or unacustomed to nudity. Somehow, I just do not seem to think it is polite to ask that question.

You do have Mr Beamish blushing. However as he dons the gasmask this will never be seen by the public.
