Sounds too good to be true. Left Behind the video game

The far left and CAIR is up in arms over a new game that sounds too good to be true.
The game Left Behind sets Christians against the anti Christ/ leftists in post apocalyptic NYC. Ducky or John Brown could also play as the forces of the anti-Christ so even they get to have their fun. CAIR is upset that some of the forces of the anti-Christ have Muslim sounding names.

I am not a Christian, but the idea of wiping out Commies and Lefties in a video game sounds addictive. It is too bad they didn't add Hilary Clinton, Cindy Sheehan and Noam Chomsky as evil boss types to kill in the game.No doubt the leftie censors have already tried to have this game removed from Walmart.

Of course the same critics would enjoy a game that had Christians thrown to the Lions or Pat Robertson as the ultimate force of evil. This is mostly sour grapes from the usual suspects.

We have got to see if we can get a review from the mayhem minded amongst us. Sadly these type of games do not play well on laptops. This sounds too good to be true, but any game that has lefties being killed by prayer sounds great in my book.

Saw this game in both Wallmart and Target. Guess who's buying it :).
As one that has played the Half Life series games this one should be good. Will up date you on how it goes. I cannot think of anything more than wasting a few infedels oooops.

My problem with the 'Left Behind' series and their juggernaut of best-selling pseudo-theo-sci-fi-fiction books/games etc..is the rapture and the annihilation of the Jews.

That is a tad troubling but obliterating lefties like John Brown with prayer should be good for a laugh. I am sure the Duck is chomping at the bit to play the anti-Christ.

This sounds like a spoof gone bad but we will see if we can talk Mr Beamish into a review.

I've never read the Left Behind series, so I don't know what to expect from a video game based on it.

I'd rather play Call of Duty 3.

I don't know about this one, but having Shrillary as a pit boss would be very amusing.

UI-Scriptures speak much about the "Time of Jacob's Trouble". So it is Scriptural, there are a lot of elements in the whole time frame, but the basics are; are you for the anti-christ or are you for G*D? Everyone knows where I stand.

BTW- The Jews are not annihilated, their numbers are hugely reduced, but G*D has always promised a Remnant! Jews will inhabit Greater Israel, it'll just feel like, and look like Hell for about 4 years.
As for the Rapture, that is G*D's Mystery, not mine. I just happen to believe HIM! And it won't "just" be the Jews who take a hit, 75% of the world's population will be killed.
It's just that the Jews are HIS People, and since they only make up, what? 0.01% of the world population...

While I do not believe in the Rapture itself as preached today they do not call for the annihilation of the Jews. It is the annihilation of all non believers as written from a Christian perspective. There will be many so called Christians and others annihilated as well.

As far as the Jewish connection in the books is that the many Jews did not accept Jesus as the messiah the first time he came. As it was then there will be many who do accept him but there will be many that will still reject him. Just as many Christians,Muslims, and other faiths will reject him at the second coming.

"Contrary to misinformation on the web, this game does not include references to any other religion. Also, there is NO killing in the name of God, and NO convert or die missions.

The player does NOT target Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, gays, or any other group. The game is a good versus evil story, which in turn results in conflict.

Players command battle scenes raging in the streets of New York City between the Tribulation Forces and the Antichrist's forces—the Global Community Peacekeepers—during the End of Days.

The Antichrist's forces are on the warpath, actively hunting down and exterminating all resistance to his one world government. This includes the good guys—the Tribulation Force—defending themselves against Satan.

The game is intended to prompt gamers to discuss important questions about life and death."

Remember it is created on the Christian interpertation of the Bible.

I have seen parts of the Left Behind series, it looks pretty good, i don't think i would buy a video game on it, mainly because i'm to addicted to my Madder '07.

The same people who will criticize this game say absolutely nothing about violence in the Koran and on official state channels against Jews and infidels.

Sadly the game does not allow gratuitous violence against John Brown, Ducky and Gert types it must be defensive.

Tell me about it Beak. Remember the game they were showing on TV about the terrorist hunting down George Bush? Did we hear a word out of CAIR then. Nope we sure did not. Oh but where are my manners that was muslim against americans and an american president right so that was ok.

I for one have had it with these freaks who come over here to be free and do better then try to impose their old way of life on the rest of us. And Im tired of the people like Ducky who do their best to help them acheive their goal.

This game lets players like Ducky be the anti Christ. If anything this game disenfranchises people like me who just loathe Commies. Maybe they will have a code where people like myself get to kick commie behind.

John Brown

When I state that you are banned for life that is it. You were warned of the consequences of your behavior and no posts will be accepted from you under any circumstances.

From CAIR's web site:

The Washington, D.C.-based CAIR, whose only New England branch is based in New London, has asked Wal-Mart to pull the game from its shelves because some of the evil characters have Islamic-sounding names.

And here is a video regarding the game. The video shows both Nihad Awad of CAIR and also the designer of the game. The irony of what Awad says is too much!

I haven't see this video game, but I've seen plenty of others--quite violent in nature.

So, why is CAIR focusing on this particular video game? Does it insult Islam? Or is this another incidence of CAIR's phobia about Islamophobia?

Justin said, The game is a good versus evil story...

Draw your own conclusions from that as to CAIR's objections. I have!

I'd like to point out that the game appears to be a strategy game rather than a tactical game. The so called "Global Community Peacekeepers" of the Antichrist are led on the field of battle by some Pope-looking "Pontifex Maximus."

Intriguing that they went for accuracy.

Ummm Beak one thing I have learned as a messianic jew. Jews are above all Gods chosen people and I do believe he will keep his promise to them. Maybe he will let you kick Duckys arse and a few others before he finally has had it with them and wipes them out.

I know what I say is heresy in some circles but God did make a promise to Abraham and to Israel and I dont know of any promise that he ever backed out on. They will not be annihilated.

While the rest of the world may turn its against Israel He gave the promise to stand with them and they would not be defeated.

They have one tuff quarter back and a offense out of this world :)

The funny thing is that there is less violence in this game than a grand theft auto.

Too bad there isn't a Mark Levin code where you just get to beat up Commies. Levin's voice is perfectly suited for this and his laugh would do fine.

Always On Watch said...

Beak,
You're right about Levin's voice and laugh.

Maybe you should devise a video game to beat up on Commies.

some how i just knew justin would find a way to sneak football into this thread...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Justin-The only ones who say that the church is Israel, belong to liberal church denominations. And C. Rice and Pes. Bush both belong to denominations that believe this. That is why they beat on Israel. I'm non-denominational and believe that G*D's Promises are "yes and amen" and Israel has Promises that have not seen fulfillment, YET! And since G*D IS NOT a liar, they will be fulfilled!
We will see the Greater Israel as HE Promised! And I will come to Jerusalem and dance down the streets!
If G*D's Promises are not "yes and amen", we are ALL in trouble!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
