Now this is Vermont Weather

The thermometer reads 8 degrees and there is no wind. It is going to get worse tommorow with high winds and negative temperatures. The worst I saw last year was minus 12 with 20 MPH winds. I may take the next two days off. Just to get my car moving will take around 30 minutes of the back and front defroster on high. There is ice everywhere one goes.

I should have no ploblem once the engine starts. It will take around twenty minutes to get the ice soft enough for removal.

My car does well in the snow, rain and ice. It does stink in the wind but so far that is not a problem.

Sounds like you are hogging the winter weather, Beaker! The fleas will be out of hand come summer, down South!
I'm glad we are going to be moving! It could be dangerous, I may become Nanc's neighbor...think Thelma and Louise, or better yet, Elijah and Moses! LOL!
The place will never be the same again!
Want to come visit?
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

We have yet to have winter weather here. But we locals know that until Palm Sunday passes we can get slammed.

It was bad . I had to run the car for thirty minutes just to get the ice soft enough for removal.

three of the doors are still frozen shut on the suburban. brrrrrrrrrr...and still no word from beamish.

It is now twelve degrees in the frozen North. I am sure Mr Beamish has a supply of explosives needed to keep the area warm.

The low tonight is -5 and the high is 9. The car shouldn't be as tough to get going as I deiced on my way down.

Beak,
30 minutes? That's some layer of ice.

How are the roads?

My trip home was great. Even though it is 3 degress all my windows except rear passenger were clear of ice. by the time I hit the gas station 30 miles later even that was soft enough to scrape.

The roads are good if you stay on main routes. It does get cold but they do not get as much snow as NYC. The most they get in one shot is around 10 inches maxiumum at one shot. The plows start at 3AM on the interstate and I pass one or two if I am early.
