The community is alive and well

I want to say that I am encouraged by the responsesof the readers. However a wiseman in a gas mask pointed out the community has grown in size much larger than is commonly assumed. Yes the community has its base when Warren and myself set out to the blogosphere.

The early founders like myself are not the be all and end all of our community. It starts with each and every one of you out there. We built our community by being open to new members. Members like AOW, AC, Rob, Justin, Elmer and Farmer John are all part of our family.

I am approaching post 1001 and I was thinking about scaling back or becoming a homeless blogger. This blog will continue but as a less mass ratings driven format. I am going to shift gears. Either Monday or Tuesday will be the cyber roast for post 1001. I hope someone can dig up Felis and Jeff Barholtz. I will place an APB for Esther, she is doing well.

The funny thing is when I post outside our community people may get the impression that this is a tiny site. When I first started people started to laugh at this site
but it is part of something bigger.

I did alter the satire company. Beakerambo has a personal service contract to this blog. The previous owner did get all the lunchboxes and action figures. B Team studios will continue the tradition of satire. We retained all the creative people
from the last company.

We may do a few more interviews. I have to see if I can get Sonia to put clothes on her avatar for an interview. Maybe she will humor us and don just the Mr Beamish style gasmask. I am certain that an interview about art, nudity and anti-communism will go over real well. I will also see if we can get Jams to sit for one of these in the near future.

I want to point out when I do an overseas interview I shift gears. The questions are aimed at local issues. In many ways an interview with Batya or an Editrix is a rare treat indeed. Even the Duck seems to like the interview segments.

We have a cyber roast to prepare for the usual suspects will be around to take shots
at me. However, the next one will be Elmer or Justin.

Don't kill the site Beaker. Your blog is what gave me the motivation to start blogging in the first place. Without your influence there wouldn't be a blog with my name on it. Keep it up--at least one post per week anyways. I remember back in 2004 when you started this thing that a lot of people laughed you off (recidivist and socrates come to mind). Look at how big the community is! Who'd a thunk it?

The man in the Gasmask explained the site is part of something much larger. We grew by extending our hand to people like you and Rob and introducing people like Batya.

The community can survive a the recent events quite well.

I'm sure the community can survive but it won't be the same. Think it over.

I don't know...seems a GIULIANI fan should be in full force now that his hat's in the ring, Beak!

I wish you the best whatever you do with this site, but know that, though I can't be here much, I'm always impressed by your eloquence, information, kindness and respect.

God bless you, Beak....you're one of the good guys, as are so many of your community here.

You can't quit when the getting is good, what is it you once told me, "your leaving just when your reaching you peek?"

You have something good here, a large community of Good people, I mean through you I was able to Connect with at least two wonderful women in tmw, and Nanc, although they can be a handful at times!

haha!

I agree with Flo...I don't want Beakerambo to take a hiatus or a permanent vacation.

as far as the roast just make sure everyone BYOB's. I'm changing jobs and the beers are no longer on me.

I am going to adjust the focus to a more community oriented site. The mass talk radio style sometimes encourages people to wander in here.

I am not talking about Jams, Benning or UI who belong here. I am talking about trolls who appear
in at random. I always welcome friends of friends like posters from AOW. But we have had some strange visitors and I would rather be community based.

I may adjust the style to more book reviews and serialization and less combat.Beakerambo went on an interview at Bad Eagle and was turned down as Dr Yeagley did not understand him.

I agree, this is for neighborhood block parties. We tend to wander in and out of each other's homes, soooooo, we want to be fussy(a little) about who wanders through!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Rob-Us a handful? What about you? You are in danger of getting wedgied or noogied! Often!

I told you that people love ya Beak.

Youre trying to break up the family. Think of the children!

Besides, I think you will miss the attention...

EB-Looooooong arms to keep Nanc and I far enough away to prevent a joint noogiewedge, or a joint wedgienoog! We know our strengths offset each other, when we are living only a mile or so away...
