The interviews were extreemly interesting and I would like to thank all the participants. Anyone can request a turn in the Hot Seat ? When a person is in the Hot Seat you have the advantage. My natural good host instincts take over for my normal WWE persona. If Anum Muhktar wants an interview he will get one . However, it is a safe bet there will be no golf questions.
We learned some interesting things Jason, Always on the Watch and Ducky have similar positions on Steinbeck. Rob is into team sports and supports Rudy G. The interview of the Mad Zionist is extreemly interesting. Mr Beamish came off as witty brilliant person. Freedom Now has an under appreciated razor sharp wit. This was not expected as Freedom Now is a serious blog. Warren has a cadre of dedicated fans and did an excellent job. Nanc seemed to enjoy her interview and got most of the jokes on the other interviews.
I want to give a special thanks to Always on the Watch for her excellent interview.
She was the first to step into the hot seat and did so bravely. I could have asked Warren but wanted a volunteer. The original concept was to hold the first Mr Beamish Press Conference and ask questions about Dynamite Fishing and the New School of Art Beamishism, I am a huge fan of Beamishism.
I will allow anyone to toss me a set of questions but remember as I am working today it may take a while.
I still look foward to American Crusaders answers and he is very interesting. If Anum Muhktar agrees to an interview that will promise to be very interesting. I would like to get Jason Pappas, Felis and Esther to sit for interviews in the future.
Anyone can request a segment even the dreaded 167. Someday, if we are lucky Farmer John will sit in for a segment.
There is one misconception I want to clarify. Ducky and I disagree on just about everything. However, he does have a role and does it fairly well. I do believe in denaturalizing members of Code Pink who have broken laws. The Duck has never called for the violent overthrow of the American government. I still have issues with his disdain for Renoir, the man was a genius.
Now I open the floor to your questions.
Barring any requests for an interviews I will do a book Review of Sowell's Black Rednecks and White Liberals tommorow.
Beamish in 08, Ducky to Progressive car insurance and 167 RIP.

Since I am the newest blogger, I shall sacrifice what ever it takes in the hot seat. But I warn you I am not very clever nor do I pretend to care about most anything. Understand I am in royal garb for a reason. Not really I just wanted to sound pretentious. Fire away beaker.
Okay, Beak. I have five quick question for you:
1. Do you ever read fiction? If so, what is your favorite genre?
2. Have you ever ridden horseback?
3. In school, in what subject did you get the best grades? What was your favorite subject in school? Sometimes they are not the same.
4. If you could spend 15 minutes in conversation with one person, living or dead, whom would you choose and why?
5. This is my current essay prompt: "If you could take one last photograph with your camera, what would that photograph be? Your choice should reveal something important about you and your interests." What would you write about?
Have you ever been snipe hunting?
What is your favorite movie?
Some more later, gotta go.
five famous people you'd enjoy having a meal with and why?
what would be on the menu?
FB
I will prepare questions when I get home. There are no right or wrong answers and everyone looks good afterwards.
Just the way I like it.
I do not tend to read much fiction
as an adult. I have read most of Mitchner, Uris and The Winds of War series. I like historical fiction and Mithcner's Teaxas was his best.
2 I have been on horseback only once as a small kid. It isn't something that I disdain just never had many opportunities.
3 I excelled at History and went from third grade to highschool without ever having a test score below 90. My string was broken as a senior in High school on an ecomics test. I had been out of school for three weeks and had knee surgery. On the first day back and still on pain killers I had a test. The teacher insisted I take the test without reading the material and on drugs. I was angered when I got a 75 but it was still the third higest mark in the class. The highest was an 83 and I did not miss by much.
My reward for this was a trip to the History department chair. The Chair insisted I move to honors and I declined. For the rest of the year I was given extra assignments and seperate tests.
4 Moses
I would like to find out if he imagined his people would have been dispersed and regathered 2000 years later.
5 The infamous Essex Moose that is the bane of my life. It is here but I can not find it.
I would write about my mini silly Moby Dick quest for this elusive Moose. What I do once I see this phantom Moose is unknown. He leaves huge reminders of his visits.
All done Beak..sorry I didn't get it to you yesterday. Work was pretty busy and my wife has a chiropractor conference in San Diego starting Thursday so I didn't want to ignore her completely..lol
Nanc
1 Anatoly Scharansky his book is an inspiration to all of us and funny in sections
2 Bob Grant a local talk show demigod I listened to for a quarter of a century.
3 David Horowitz a brilliant author who has been generous with his time.
4 Mark Levin he is just so funny and brilliant.
5 Richard Poe He is the only author who has shaped my opinions and moved me to the right. Brilliant man who I can not praise enough.
Snipe hunting is similar to my adventures with the Essex Moose. The Moose is real and he leaves huge smelly reminders of his visits.
This is not PC but the Searchers and the growth of Wayne's characher. You think he is going to slaughter his Natalie Wood but his humanity takes over. The part where he is beyond the household at the end is missing.
beak - when i lived in alaska we had a huge moose who ate directly outside our bedroom window - why you may ask? because the man we rented from was a cabbage farmer and that's where he kept some of it in bins. put some cabbage outside your window - see if that lures him in so you may get a photo. i wouldn't recommend the cabbage in the summer - phewy!
167 Trolled this blog from its inception. In the earliest days it was Warren an myself against an army of communist anti semites who happen to be gay.
As the blog progressed he has become a cheaper version of a rubber chicken. Ducky is a more worthy foil as he is mostly coherent. 167 is the best illustration of all the insanity of the left in one place.
He visits but lacks the courage to say a word. He can ask for a interview but I would not expect the civility afforded to Ducky.
The Duck is interesting on other levels and I may do a steinbeck post in the future.
2 I have been to around 100 or more Broadway shows. My parents go weekly and I am well versed in theatre . However I did not get around to many of the bigger shows .
3 I am a huge Giants fan
4 Vermont is a complex state and Civil Unions is not popular in the North. There is a an odd hostility to male homosexuals but there are several female ones running around town.
I did a comedy bit as one of the townies asked what would happen if I stumbled into the Burlington gay bar. The routine is funny but not printable. The bottom line is have a beer and move to a site more atuned to my tastes.
Beak,
I think I've read about that moose. LOL.
I've read all the authors you mentioned in response to my question about reading fiction. Until 9/11, I read mostly fiction as a matter of choice. Escapism, I think.
Hard for me to choose my Michener favorite, but I especially loved (and still love) Hawaii and Centennial. I'm listening to Caravans now; I read the book some 30 years ago.
My father (1911-1998) was quite the history reader. He helped me get through my college history courses. I have almost as many hours in history courses as I do in my major. For electives, I tended to opt for history or music. Of course, VA is rich in history, but few in VA seem to care about history these days.
Off to work now. Thank you for answering my questions, Beak. What a great idea for a blog-theme!
I often disagree with Mr. Ducky because I honestly believe that leftists sit around plotting ways to convince rational people that they're morons. Few can top the leftist efforts of the "smearing shit on yourself is performance art if you charge admission" crowd. But the one thing clearly missing from every history book ever written is evidence that a leftist's ideal is more than a killing spree wallpapered with nonsensical platitudes.
This is not to say that right-wing ideals can't be wrong.
They just rarely are.
This was a very good idea your part, Beak. I will put you up on my list of favorites at my website. Nicely done.
It came out better then I intended but it will be interesting if our resident Jihadi will consent to an interview.
I did promise no scripture or Mohammed bashing as I am not a theologan. However history and Sharia law are fare game. Your interview and Ducky's our house troll came out excellent . The others were all very good.
Dont talk to Beak about it, talk to Mr. Beamish and then you will find out that discussion is possible.
Beak,
1. If you could be any blogger besides yourself, who would you be and why?
2. What inspired this series of interviews?
3. Who is your favorite troll and what is taking you so long to ban him or her?
4. How have the two World Trade Center attacks (which you have witnessed) affected your views of the use of US military power?
5. When will you pay me the money that you owe me?
Freedom Now
1 The choices on this one are difficult but I would have to say Warren with Mr Beamish a very close second. Warren has a cult like appeal to his loyal readers. He has a natural charm that makes hima beloved friend in the blogoshpere. Most people seem to meet Warren through me as I am more active.
Mr Beamish personifies cool and fun. His blog is the most unique spot on the web. His artistic creations keep me in stiches.
2 I wanted to do a Mr Beamish press confrence where we could ask him all types of fun ideas. Mr Beamish what are your thoughts on Dwarf throwing. Mr Beamish could deliver a classic line and we would have the web in stiches. Always on the Watch has a good sense of humor but is more serious so I mixed serious with some fun and it came out well.
3 The official troll of this blog is Ducky. We do not ban trolls we use them for entertainment.
On a personal level the Duck and I can talk about mundane topics that would bore 90% of the planet. Someday the Duck will explain why Mark Twains use of the N word was evil but Eugene Oneil's use of the same word thirty times in the Emperor Jones played by Paul Robeson was peachy. It is interesting but not blog material.
4 I was always more of a hawk but my experiences made this personal.
I changed careers and moved 400 miles to do my part. It was something I was compelled to do. I do not expect anyone to understand
this.
5 We are a shoe string opperation do you want to barter Matzoh Balls and Turnips.
I plan on discussing the O Neil point with Farmer John in a future interview.
Leftists have unique problems with social skills. I sympathize...
Ducky,
Because of your leftism, I don't pretend you're even capable of reasonable discussions.
Leftists are most comfortable killing people. Consider the discussions over changing the chemical insulation foam used on the space shuttle's fuel tanks:
"It's environmentally friendly"
"So?"
"It's also brittle under flight stress and will shear off and damage the shuttle during launch so that it will kill astronauts returning to Earth."
"Cool!"
see what you've gone and started, beak? it is about to never end - do you know what that means? yep, it means neverending, which means this could go on FOREVER. chew on that for awhile. i challenged kyle and he has stood for the challenge - hip-hip kyle!
i guess if you couldn't ask me how to make cereal, you could honor anum's wishes, seeing as how you are such a gentleman...
Beak,
Always on the Watch has a good sense of humor but is more serious...
In person I tend to dry wit (Some say sarcasm--I get in trouble for that sometimes), but in writing I'm of a more serious nature.
You're a natural interviewer and tailor your questions to the individual's character.
