The Obama Paradox

As the media is in worship mode the actions of the Obama administration face no scrutiny. In the coming days you will hear much rhetoric about Pakistan. In an ideal world Obama reads Pakistan
the riot act and they act force ably.

However, Obama's incompetence and stupidity has cost us our best ally in this front. Pakistan should be told point blank to get its act together or face the consequences. If it can control its territory and permits terrorist activity from its soil than it is time for action. India should be encouraged to invade and take additional territory. The USA should cross the border as it deems prudent.

However, as the media fails to hold this administration accountable look for some odd policies from local government. We did have wire tapping in the Clintoon administration that only becomes problematic when continued under Bush.

The comments about X Boxes by Obama show how out of touch he is with real America. Had Bush said them he would be lampooned as a country club snob. In Obama's case this is faculty
lounge Marxist dementia.

What consequences, you dipstick?

You are aware that they can make things very difficult in the region and actually benefit from a Taliban controlled Afghanistan. But of course you're not.

So what are you going to do, nuke them? Let us know when you have a critical thought.

The double standard never ceases to amaze.

It should be remembered that Pakistan'a regular army has suffered the most casualties of all nations fighting the Taliban in the NWFP. This is essentially a tribal conflict jacked up on Islamic identity politics. He who has the biggest persecution complex wins the "moral high ground." Pakistan's regular army isn't exactly known for being secular either, if you look back to their genocidal terrors of the 1970s.

I don't know if Obama's bungling has deteriorated the war with the Taliban to the point where alliance with the Pakistani government is essentially the same as alliance with the Taliban we've fighting, but there is a danger of it becoming so. There's only so much logistical support to a war one can bring. We're hampered by Obama's loss of central Asia air basing rights in key area nations, and Bush's sweep of the Taliban problem into Baluchistan for Iran to deal with has been halted. Having no need to run, the Taliban is thriving in the NWFP. Will Pakistan host the infection, or kill it? (Or pass it to Iran?)

The Taliban is not as strong as it was when it was all the rage in Uzbekistan AND Afghansitan. It's been driven down, but not out.

Just curious, Beak, will you be reporting on Godard's "Socialism" at this year's Cannes?

Or should les flics arrest the commie?

Beak, if you are not following Godard's, "Socialisme", (though I'm sure you are), I can point you to a site where you can download the pressbook, if you like.

Seriously, Ducky. An honest, respectful discussion with you is impossible as long as you're hesistant to acknowledge the fact that you're an imbecile.

How exactly does Pakistan benefit from the Taliban ruling Afghanistan? Perhaps it did pre-9/11 when Pakistan ISI support for the Taliban was a dirty little secret, but now that the cat's out of the bag on that and Pakistan has to face the Bush "with us or with the terrorists" mandate, they have to make some sort of choice.

Or at least would if there were a such thing as a Democrat President capable of finding his balls without a search party.

Dear Beak,

I wonder if you are able to help me. I am concerned about what may happen if i try to board a flight with my iPod touch.

I have quite a bit of Arabic music on my playlists and worry about what might happen at security. Since you know the world renowned expert Rudi Giuliani maybe you can tell me:

A. I am waterboarded as a suspected terrorist.

B. I'm just roughed up and released.

C. My passport is confiscated and I'm shipped to Gitmo.

D. I'm handed over to the Mossad.

I value your answer.

Sincerely,
Ducky

The Israelis do not target Commies, but should make exceptions for Hugo
Chavez who has fostered violence against Jews and armed terrorists.

Water boarding of you should be a recreational past time for patriots of all stripes. In fact the tune of Stars and Bars should be played as this takes place followed by a tar and feathering and placing you in a small wooden container bound for North Korea or Zimbabwe.

You will be fed in the container along the same lines Commies fed the Muslims when they sent them to Siberia. Of course Commies forget about that history.

Because, Beamish, Pakistan was happy to have a client state on that long border.

The support has become public record although the U.S. invasion did stir things up a bit.

Weak, Ducky.

Pakistan "benefits" from a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan that hosts al-Qaeda operations as long as it doesn't bring war to their doorstep.

Barack "bomb Pakistan" Obama is proving to be no where near their doorstep.
