Leftwing Idiocy

9 I have witnessed a new workd where the far left has devolved into self righteous red rednecks. The amount of antisemitism on the far left has reached epidemic proportions. A recent visitor to Freedomnow's site sees nothing bigoted with calling someone a Jewish Cunt or Donkey of Zion? Is the far left antisemitic?

1 You seem to have an active interest in music what artists are your favorites?

The most influential artists to me were Kiss, Black Sabbath, Sweet, Judas Priest, The Beatles, Iron Maiden, David Bowie, The Cure, Slade, to name a few. Most of you may not know it but I play bass guitar. The bands above helped to get me interested in music and I am still playing since I was sixteen. I am now 45 years old and still refuse to act my age.

2 Who is creepiest Vanilla Ice, Abba, Pat Boone or the Partridge Family?

Definitely Pat Boone. A mental image comes across of that black and white picture of him with his dick in a box. Vanilla Ice was just a flash in the pan of wierdness; believe it or not, I dig the Partridge Family and still have a woodie for the mom, LOL.

3 What makes a good music video?

One that follows the lyrics. I like the lovey-dovey ones the most; the ballads.

The UN

4 What is your opinion of the mindless worship of the UN by the left.

Believe it or not, I don't see much of the left worshiping the UN. I see a lot of pandering and tolerance from both sides of the fence; very disgusting to me. I would like to see the UN leave the US.

5 Has the media done an effective covering the Oil for Food Scandal and the sexual exploitation of Africans by UN employees.

The media didn't do enough. News that isn't talked much about tends to fall to the wayside; meanwhile, Kofi Anan and his son are reaping in the profits.

6 Should the US defund the UN?

No. The US needs to play a role of being more isolationist and less dependent on foreign oil and products. If you recall my story over on "Screw the UN" you will see that I very nearly had to wear a powder blue beret and have to listen to a french general, but lucky for me, the cards played in my favor and I got out from UN duty. So definitely no, we shouldn't even be using the UN security as a trump card that we do each time before we lash out at our enemies.

The Balkans

7 What is your view on the Balkan mess?

It is very confusing to most of us, but I believe that we were fighting against the wrong people, the Serbs. As Serbian churches burned, as Muslim squatters moved into Serbia, Macedonia, and Bosnia, declaring the Mjahideen movement, the US were lauding the Muslim Kosovars, paving the way for Islamic fundamentalists into Eastern Europe. I have a friend named Dacho who lives here in the US and he tells us stuff about the Muslims that took control of his country and nearly decimated it.

8 Did the media, Bill Clinton and the UN all mess up.

Of course they did. We were fighting in a very reluctant war; one that had no victory for the US or any real goals. This war was all in favor of preventing the ballooned genocide tales against the Muslims. I feel that the media, particularly the BBC, blew those stories of "mass Muslim graves" way out of proportion, because let's face it - it was the Muslims that started this war.

The ideologies of the left lean in favor of the working man; the blue collar worker. Jews, in their opinion, control the world. While I do not speak for ALL lefties, the undeniable ideology of unfavorable outlook against Jews is omnipresent. Both sides of the fence view one another as anti-semitic to a certain degree. Those words against a Jewish female were tragically racist, IMO, but let's face it, the Internet has become a haven for trolls. The best way to take care of trolls is to ignore them.

10 I have also witnessed similar arrogance towards religious Christians. Have you seen similar patterns of behavior.

Of course! I do not view myself as a churchgoing Christian, but I believe attacking Christians is the wrong thing to do. I see it from Bill Maher on HBO and Rosie O'Donnell. I find the two of them disgusting and their opinions reek of Anti-American sentiments. One fine example of anti-Chrisitanism comes from a former British rock star by the name of Steve Priest. He played bass guitar for Sweet (the band that played songs like Little Willie, Ballroom Blitz, etc). You can still see Steve posting away as "stevepriest1" at http://www.thesweet.com/page6.html aka the HSH English Message Board. One time, Steve's brother was dying from Pancreatic cancer. I posted to Steve that I was saying a prayer for his brother. He lashed out at me, declaring I was a Christian swine...imagine that, here was the guy I like to hear play bass when I was a kid and he's turned into a flaming leftist anti-Christian nutcase that adores Michael Moore. Go check this moron out!

Video Games

11 What are your views of video games are they too violent?

Hell, no. There is nothing better than winding down playing a game of Battlefield 2 on the puter after a hard day's work. The only video games I frown upon are the sex games and the pervert stuff.

12 Which blogger would make the best video game charachter? I nominate Mr Beamish.

I'd nominate myself, LOL.

Sports

13 What sports if any do you follow?

Football, football, football. Baseball is mind-numbingly boring to me. Golf is far worse, and one sport I loathe to watch, and cannot understand the fascination by it, is watching a bunch of guys play poker on television.

14 Do you follow any team or athlette in particular.

If there is an opportunity to see my favorite football team, the Detroit Lions, color me there. Even though they might be the worse team in the NFL, the Honolulu Blue and Silver are my heroes, no matter what!

Random

15 What countries do you see as vital to our future economy?

None of them except our own. We should never depend on anyone else outside of our borders. Maybe this is the Libertarianism seeping out in me here, but I long for the day that America becomes isolationist and does not depend on anyone else. Maybe then we can concentrate on the problems within our country and stop feeding the bastages outside.

16 Do you think international competition will force American Universities to reduce the emphasis on social sciences? Will the competition correct many of excesses of the left?

Let's face it, that all depends if we can get our colleges and universities to the point of being able to teach our so-called brilliant young minds to point out on a map where Iceland or New Zealand is on a map, or what nations produce what products. Our educational system is stagnant; our college graduates are leaving college and most of them know absolutely nothing about the world that they live in. So to answer your question, we are sadly behind in ANY competition.

17 Should we do more domestic drilling for oil?

Yes. I see plenty of synclines and anticlines here in my home state. I believe that there is oil in the Appalachian mountain chain but the environmentalists are preventing it from happening. Maybe it's time we open up more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, but at the same time I favor us doing more research into alternative fuels.

18 Should we build more nuclear power plants?

Sure, why not? Nuclear technology has vastly improved. We could use the naval high pressure steam reactor designs; they are by far the safest. The US Navy, to my knowledge, never had any serious reactor accidents, so let's use those.

19 Should we change our emphasis from family based immigration to vocational immigration?

To be honest with you, I've never explored vocational immigration and at this time I am not sure what it is....so I will pass on this one, but I will tell you that I immigrated here in 1970 with my mom and brother. My father had to come here for six months to establish a job, a home, and a car before he could send for us. That's how it used to be, but nowadays, whatever formula of immigration we're hooked on, isn't working, because there sure are a lot of fucking lazy-assed Hispanic illegals wandering around here in Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, where I live.

20 Are people whose blogs are mostly cut and paste lazy?

No; I practice it regularly.

21 Name some of the blogs you read daily?

I make nearly daily rounds. Most notable are Always on Watch, yours, Conservative Beach Girl, Strange Fire, The Dugout, Yankees Go Home, The Gathering Storm, Leftwingnutjob (she's the only moderate I admire to a certain extent), just to name a few.

22 Have you encountered trolls on your site?

There was, at one time, a guy I forget his name now. He once threatened me and my family.

This site gets fairly nasty trolls and we do spend time smacking them around.

I know, I see them. Maybe they don't have anything better to do. Let's face it, I bet at least ONE of your trolls is busy banging away on his computer whilst someone is busy banging away on his wife...LOL.

23 What are your views on free speech on your blog?

I applaud the fact that liberals are allowed to lambast the country, president, and whatever they want, while at the same time, we get to bash Muslims, and all at the same time we call one another racists, perverts, assholes, and the like. I support freedom of speech all the way.

Fun

24 Many of our readers were former comic book fans. Have you heard of the Silver Surfer? Did you read comic books in youth?

That is a funny question. If you've ever heard of James O'Barr, aka "Zen" the creator of The Crow, Jim and I grew up together in Taylor Michigan. All that shit on the web about him is total bullshit. Jim's a great guy. He is dark and always was that way. When fame came his way after The Crow movies, he didn't change much at all. Jim now lives out in LA somewhere and I hope to catch up with him again after all these years. Jim and I used to read our piles of comic books down in his basement. I can remember seeing the early drawings of the Crow character....that was pretty cool. Jim O'barr introduced me to Joy Division, his favorite band, John Lennon, The Cure (VERY early Cure), bands like The Dictators, Cheap Trick...he knew I liked Slade from the UK and he too liked them a lot. Jim also had the coolest porn collection ever.

The Silver Surfer was totally awesome, but my favorite super heroes and villains are:

1. Captain America
2. Silver Surfer
3. OMAC (of DC comic fame)

Villains:

1. Dr. DOOM!
2. The Red Skull
3. Green Goblin

25 Name the worst movie that you have seen on TV in the last five years?

The Crying Game, most definitely!

Thanks for this opportunity, Beakerkin....you have a pleasant weekend!

It was an excellent interview.

Rob Bayn is also a Detroit Lions fan. The Detroit Lions are a blog humor staple. However, Rob points out the NY Knicks are more comical.
I think they are the first team in recorded history more likely to have a GM in the court system than the players.

The Silver Surfer is a blog joke. I mistook an excellent blogger the Solid Surfer for the Silver Surfer.
I have read some of his comics and he is somewhat cerebral. The Impossible man is a blast.

Mr. B., Mr. B., we got Beaker to read Silver Surfer! There's hope for him after all!
Hi Beaker! How ya doin'?
Steve-Nice job on the interview, I had my Black Sabbath days, long time passing. As for steve priest, well most people I know, even athiest or agnostics, are quite grateful to know someone is praying for them or theirs! How rude!
Good afternoon, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Question number six was mistaken by me. I thought you asked "defended" but then I looked at it again and see it says "defunded." My bad, but hell yes, we should defund it all the way!

The last discussion of the Silver Surfer generated hits all over the place. MZ who is not a comic book crazed guy remembered the Silver Surfer fondly. He does not seem to be written for kids. There was only one graphic novel available.

Regarding the comments on nuclear power - I believe the naval high pressure reactors, when sized up appropriately - become Pressurized Water Reactors (like Indian Point). This is not to say nuclear power is good or bad - since most folks have very little understanding of where their electricity comes from - period - making the correct future choices for energy will not be an easy task. I've tried to help a wee bit by writing a novel on the topic based on my 20 years generating electricity (at a nuke plant.) The book is free online to readers - and they seem to like it judging from their homepage comments. It's also endorsed by Stewart Brand, prominent environmentalist, internet pioneer and founder of "The Whole Earth Catalog".

I have spent the day in Indian Point in Westchester. I can honestly say that I would sooner live next to a nuclear power plant than NYU or the New School for Marxist treason.

I have also witnessed the Nimby nonsense in VT. Hydro plants and wind power are big topics up here.

This is crazy. The Cure is a favorite band of mine as well. And Dr. Doom is probably my favorite of all time Marvel comic book character. I won't call Dr. Doom a villain, because after all, he just wants to take over the world and run it more efficiently.

Me a video game character? I put "DJ StarScream's" Decepticon remix of the cartoon Transformers (emphasis on the TRANCE) theme music on my blog this weekend and all of a sudden I'm a video game...

Kewl!

Mr Beamish

Warren and AOW have good avatars for video games. John Brown is lurking so my avatar is out of consideration.

However, Beakerambo has certainly gotten good second career after being kidnapped. I wish this John Brown would stop imitating John Bwown the pussy of Jihad. Hey Brown get your own gig and stop satiring a better blog.

Steve,
I like the lovey-dovey ones the most; the ballads.

Really? That surprised me. Because I'm a bit older than you (Ahem!), I have different favorite musical groups, and I usually prefer their harder-rock pieces. But when it comes to music in general, I love the ballads.

Beak,
I so miss your avatar.

Excellent interview--on both parts!

Steve,
I have a question of my owh. Your favorite authors (past and/or present)?

beakerkin said...

AOW

Beakerambo has gone onto a good career at MZ industries. He was having problems with the hostage ordeal and being used as a sex object by Mariah Carey.

He seems to be getting better roles. He is training for the Dodgeball match against the Clintons with Mr Beamish and Elmer.

Good news Steve...I've contacted the former Miss Pittsburgh and told her of your intentions. I've given her your contact information, so be prepared for Shirley Jones (born March 31st 1934), to give you a call.
I hope you can maintain that "woodie" because she says it's 'been awhile'.

Poor guy!

He seems to be getting better roles.

The ordeal has toughened him up.

James Aach - I'll be checking out your online book. I enjoy reading stories about nuclear power, especially the book called K-19 and other russian submarine stories.

AOW - I thought we were around the same age, LOL. I've read a lot of books in my time, my favorite authors that I can remember would be John Milton, Jon Krakauer, Robert Heinlein, Ray Bradbury, Gary Weir, Jeff Long, Paul Sperry, just to name a few.

AC - oh boy I forgot how old she is now, haha!

I play a lot of sports games on my PS2.

elmers brother said...

Ray Bradbury is great! I have a huge book that includes his best writing.

A bass player? We could never find a decent bass player for any of my bands. I would've played bass myself, but for some reason I has trouble singing while playing bass. Go figure.

Steve,

I'm 54, nearly 55. Wow! 55 sounds OLD! :(

I'm not surprised to see Paul Sperry and Ray Bradbury on your list.
