In the Hot Seat with Jeff Bargholz

This is aq rare opportunity to visit one of the contributors to Rocco Dipippo's excelllent site antiprotester.blogspot. This is actually the fourth member of that site I have interviewed Dr Yeagley, Freedomnow and OrangeDucks have sat for interviews. Many of us aspire to posting in front of a larger audience. Jeff, Orangeducks and Freedomnow have proven that sometimes high quality posts will be noticed by larger sites. I am very thankful to Dr Yeagley for posting a few of my posts. I hope someday Rocco will consider Possum as a possible addition to his site.

There is much ground to cover and this interview will be slightly different from the standard format.

Moonbat Central memories

1 I am a huge fan of Rocco's new site but I miss Richard Poe. Poe had a rare combination of wisdom and fortitude. He also was the best troll killer I ever saw.
What were your impressions of Richard Poe.
2 We have asked this question before. Which Moonbat Central poster would you want next to you in a foxhole?
3 Are there any Moonbat Central Posters who are still MIA that you wouldn't mind seeing. Nanc and I have excellent memories of Redbeard?

The transition from poster to columnist

4 I find that it is a different experience being a poster on a site like David Yeagley's on line Journal? When I am posting in my own site I expect a community of familiar friends and Ducky. However on a larger site there is more unpredictability.
If I am not mistaken there was some hostile feedback to your post on the Duke post.
Is defending your posts on a larger blog harder then you anticipated?
5 Is it fun to kick back as a regular poster and let someone else have the headache every so often.

Trolls

We have a wide array of pests that haunt cyberspace. We have the vulgar Socrates who I outed as Meathead with your help. Socrates was known for posting under dozens of aliases, predatory behavior and being a bore. John Brown is famous for spam and vulgarity. Uptown is just a clown act waiting to happen.

6 Who is the most vile out of the pack of trolls you encountered? Socrates would win hands downin my book.
7 Is there a troll you like to swat around? Dana from MZ's blog is tailor made for this type of abuse.
8 What are your thoughts on Ducky? I have limited respect for the Duck because he is original?
9 What do you think motivates these trolls? Warrens theory is they are modern obscene callers. I think some like Socrates are failed writers with mental defects and zero social skills. Others like Uptown are street punks who come looking for a fight.
10 I think Dana's last claim blaming the allies for the Holocaust is the prize winning most ignorant troll comment. She could top that by blaming slaves for not running fast enough to avoid capture. What is the most absurd troll comment you have seen?

Bonus question I am familiar with Socrates writing style and history. What tipped you off to the fake Professor Meathead saga? He ran that scam for years but lost it
as soon as he was outed. He can not provide details about his creations as one of us would trip him up in seconds?

Islam

11 Is there a larger conflict with Islam that extends beyond the Middle East? Why do some fail to see a larger picture?
12 Has the plight of Christians and other religious minorities living under Islamic hegemony been swept under the rug?
13 Are human rights in Muslim countries ignored by the left?
14 Some have complained that democratic movements would result in a more agressive facistic movements like Hammas and the Islamic Brotherhood gaining more power. Is the push towards Islamo democracy a possible mistake?
15 Should we tilt our policy and be more pro Indian? India is a reliable ally and a genuine democracy.

Profanity

16 I tend not to use it myself, however do people like Ducky, Brown and Veggitown deserve four letter salutes? All of the above use it frequently themselves.
17 Does the use of profanity make us seem undiciplined? Am I old fashioned?
18 There seems to be some dispute to the boundaries of free speech and sexual harassment. At work two men were told they had upset a coworker when they laughed at a tie in the newspaper? Uptown seems to think free speech includes the right to call Donal by her private parts or question La Shawn Barber about sex in motels with White Boys. Has the definition of what is objectionable become too broad?

Victimology group rights

19 Does it seem like every group is a member of an official far left victims mode except Jewish or Christian white males? How does a colonial people with a 1400 year history of Jim Crowe practices rise to the to of this victims pyramid.
20 Group rights and social Justice are antithetical to my vision of America. Is group rights a totalitarian concept?
21 What does the far left mean by Social Justice? I see this as a pretext of theft of resources via social engineering.

Random

22 What brands of beer and alcohol are you fond of?
23 Should students study the classic Greco-Roman writers of the past?
24 What films stand out in your mind as under rated classics and as over rated bores.
25 What type of music do you listen to?

Bonus questions

26 Who is the most annoying celebrity?
27 Is there one person you would like to drop on a remote Island so they could be out of the MSM news? Cindy Sheehan is my choice

I personally believe uppity is to stupid to be a clown wannabe! It takes brains and pathos to be able to get others to laugh at thier human condition.
Sick 'em Jeff!
Good morning and G*D bless!

Beak,
I'm scheduled for an MRI early today, but will be back to check on the answers.

I hope all goes well. If you should see Pim's Ghost tell him to drop on bye. I would like to see if we can coax him into an interview.

I'll notify Pim's Ghost (who is a "she," BTW).

AOW what's wrong there dear? I hope all goes well. Will keep you in my prayers.

Florian,
Back trouble. I got rear-ended by a cabbie last year. I had thought the back trouble had resolved, but I had a major relapse of sciatica on May 5. The pain and loss of function in my left leg are unrelenting and getting worse, though I thought that getting worse couldn't happen. I'm not looking too good for my anniversary and feel decades beyond my chronological years.

Now, the physical ailments have forced me to cut back on posting at my blog. I make blog rounds as I can.

I hope that I don't have to suffer all summer long! I can barely stand to ride in the Mustang convertible (my favorite nice-weather pastime), so I'm stuck with driving my old-lady car--when I'm up to any driving at all.

But I see a light at the end of the tunnel. Got a great ortho yesterday--at long last! I first had to get a lawyer to force my HMO not to block my diagnosis and treatment.

I started the steroids today to calm down that sciatic nerve, and I should be getting some relief in a few days. The MRI will show whether or not I have a herniated disc.

Sorry to whine here. I'm not myself these days! :(

Flo & TMW,
Yes, prayer-chain needed!!!

i hope to sit down to a cold one or five for this interview!

Nanc,
I can't drink beer--allergic to hops. But sparkling wines and brandy are okay.

I'll be "ready" for the interview when responses are posted here.

Oh, I thought this was a roast...

the merry widow said...

AoW- Have had 2 attacks of sciatica in the past 26 yrs., dear me that is horrid! Can you sleep at night? I know before the shots I would be in tears because of pain. I don't usually cry, but groaning out loud upsets my 2 no end! Driving is no joy, mine is in the right leg! Prayer definatelly, and I am glad the shots are starting to work! Keep your knee above your hip, that seems to help.
Take care and let us know!

How many of you think I should ban Uptown? He goes on his stupid continuous pointless rants and blames everything on race. We are riding the merry go round of circles in "debates" (if you can call it that). I don't want to be like a commie DU'er who bans folks for thinking opposite ideology, but he's making it very difficult to be civil.

Always On Watch said...

Beamish,
annoying habit of saying what I would have said if I had thought of it first.

Only recently have I discovered Jeff Bargholz and The Autonomist.

TMW,
Right now, I'm taking the steroids by oral dosage. We have only one recliner here, and it's my husband's; I may have to invest in another recliner. Sleeping at night became problematic the past few nights--lots of groaning, as you mentioned. My husband had to move to the spare bedroom for a few nights; but that room has no AC, so he's back downstairs now. Sciatica in the left leg is nearly as bad for driving; when one puts the right foot onto the accelerator, some weight shifts onto the left hip. Ouch! But I already feel a bit better after only three steroid pills!

nanc said...

maybe i was talking about bloody mary's, aow...you never know...

nanc said...

beamish - perhaps you did think of it first and bargholz is just your puppet!

Florian

Here is my problem with Uptown. He camps on a blog all day as if it his blog and his right. If people haven't noticed race is not a topic we discuss here.

He posts more comments then the host. He is off topic and not interested in debate he wants a fight.

He doesn't have a clue about what he is talking about. He blamed the Contras for killing four nuns in El Salvador. The rest of the planet knows government death squads were the alleged suspects and this has zero to do with the Contras. I could add 100 other chapters.

He likes to demand quotes. Okay I gave him a book and a page number has he looked it up. He also likes to call people LIAR when they disagree. He claimed never to have called people JEW but I produced the quotes now he spins.

Ducky is original and civil and posts a few times. Dana is a moron posts once or twice. Uptown posts in the teens and Brown posts upwards of fifty times.

Moreover, have the courtesy to leave. Free speech is not hundreds of posts.

Florian- As I said at MadZ's, your site is like your home, if one of the guests insists on pooping in the middle of your livingroom, do you allow them back? I don't think so, but it is your site and you know your comfort level with the situation. uppity and jobro seem to be on a mission to defecate in as many places as possible. They are following us to other sites in the blogosphere to pollute more places! They are looking for attention, but consider that they may be part of a concerted effort to harrass the more patriotic, conservative and religious sites! Think about it.

tmw

nanc said...

i don't race anymore - bad knees. thank you, beak for not discussing race. it reminds me too much of my younger days.

Florian,
From my experince I can tell you that by allowing nasties to hijack your blog you eventually lose potential readers, who just wouldn't be bothered and don't like being hassled by idiots.
I mean you do not argue with idiots.
It is pointless.
In the end by allowing one type of 'audience' you ban some other types.
As The Merry Widow said: ".. your site is like your home" and banning your guests has nothing to do with censorship.
It is an issue of being able to socialize with guest you want to socialize.

It also all depends on what your blogging aims are.
It could be just a community where you have a nice chat on line on diffrent topics, it could be an issue you feel very strongly about and you wish to get you point of view across to as many people as you can.
It could be just a steam releaser, where you can rant and have a fist fight in the end.
It could be a feel good blog or a mud throwing competition blog.

And so the choice of your audience depends on what blog profile you wish to have.

My feelings about so called free speech are fairly simple:

Yes, full rights to freedom of speach but freedom of speech doesn't mean a freedom to be heard.

Will CNN give you a free forum to express your views over and over again?

AOW,
I hope you'll feel better soon.
And take care.

I will grant you something others do not. In your own way you have a sense of honor. You post under one name and are on the level what you see is what you get.

Here is the problem you want sources fine did you check. Anyone can make some of the mistakes you have. You got El Salvador and the Contas mixed up and I bothed Louima and Diallo. However when I mixed up the cases I said you are correct.

The big problem is quanity and tone. Nobody is opposed to two or three on topic non vulgar posts.

Hey Beak you are wrong because of XYZ. Fine and I respond no problem.

Race is not a major focus of mine never has been. Honor transcends race and either you have it or you don't.

Beak:

I’m sorry I’ve been sluggish in my reply but I was out all day and I can only work on this in fits and spurts because of my two boys. The older one is 18 months old and the younger one is only 6 months. They both require a lot of attention. I also don’t want to give your questions short thrift. They’re great questions, probably better than my answers will be. I’ll probably finish it up tomorrow morning.

To everyone else, please note that I’m not an expert on most of these subjects, but most of the experts are FULL OF SHIT.

1 I am a huge fan of Rocco's new site but I miss Richard Poe. Poe had a rare combination of wisdom and fortitude. He also was the best troll killer I ever saw.
What were your impressions of Richard Poe?
A: I think he’s a great editor. He encouraged a wide range of ideas in his writers and posters at Moonbat Central. I don’t know about the writers, but he drew the line at leftist infiltration, serial lying and comments that supported atrocities. Moonbats who spouted the same lies over and over after they had been refuted were warned to stop, or suffer banishment. He was good at spotting the ones who came back under new aliases.

He’s a good writer too. I enjoyed his articles about the racial mingling between Ancient Egyptians and Blacks. That’s an interesting subject that most serious researchers ignore. Usually you get racist crap about Blacks building the Pyramids and faded paint in hieroglyphics accounting for bronze skinned Egyptians.

Like DiPippo, he has an acerbic wit when it comes to insults. I think you know how much I enjoy a good insult. How could you not like a guy who preferred the Manly Cold War “Star Trek” to the effeminate “Star Trek: The Politically Correct Generation?”

2 We have asked this question before. Which Moonbat Central poster would you want next to you in a foxhole?
A: If it were a man, I’d want someone who was aggressive and hopefully a good shot. MZ and Beamish come to mind. I don’t know how well they shoot but Beamish is holding a rifle in his photo and both of them have enough testosterone. If it were a woman I’d want the one with the biggest jugs.

3 Are there any Moonbat Central Posters who are still MIA that you wouldn't mind seeing? Nanc and I have excellent memories of Redbeard.
A: I liked Redbeard too. Drmilltown, RightMedic, Hammersmith, Dark900, InRussetShadows and Sharikov were all interesting posters. Peedoffamerican and Kuhnkat were gung-ho about stomping on moonbats. I think CXT was very young or spoke English as a second language but he was perceptive. Antonucc made some extremely good points about racial taboos in this country. I think he was a “White’s rights” advocate but contrary to what other posters believed, he never made a racist statement. Xteacher politely and concisely revealed the repulsive nature of the moonbats who used moral relativism to promote their hatred of America. I’d love to read more from all of them.

A: The community is great but I also like hearing from strangers, even moonbats. If a moonbat gets other people to visit the site it’s good publicity. If they comment they get kicked around. It’s a win-win situation. Attracting fellow moderates and conservatives is always good news. Attracting someone who’s new to opinions and facts untainted by leftism is great news.

Time has proven me right about the Duke Rape Hoax. All serious controversy ended when the DNA tests of the accused students came back negative. DNA doesn’t lie--prostitutes and prosecutors do. The morons who criticized what I wrote probably found my article by doing a search on the Duke case. They were obviously looking for a fight because they had already convicted the innocent students in their minds. I was attacked because I mistook an Indic name for an ebonic one. The name I misidentified belonged to a racist, misandrist harpy out for Whitey’s “privileged” Duke blood, which is really what angered the poster. He didn’t want the pitchfork waving mob impeded in its rush to condemn the students. He wanted to promote the Orwellian lie that White males are practicing racists and misogynists who oppress women and “people of color.“

My article was fair and factual (screw balanced,) but I made it clear that the prostitute’s story was full of holes. To be honest, when I first heard on Fox news that Duke lacrosse players were accused of rape my ears perked up in suspicion. When the accuser was identified as being Black and the accused as White I thought: “here we go again.” When I heard the ludicrous claim that the accuser had been gang-raped, strangled and sodomized while her assailants hurled racial epithets, I had no doubt that it was Tawana Brawley part II.

I like it when people criticize my stories. If they’re right, I learn from it. The moonbats are never right. They always defend the wicked at the expense of the virtuous so it’s easy to refute them. They aren’t used to being refuted because they hide on moonbat blogs that censor any effective rebuttals to their group-think. They usually take off with their tail between their legs after the “Autonomist” regulars kick them around.

5 Is it fun to kick back as a regular poster and let someone else have the headache every so often?
A: I prefer it. I’m much too lazy to maintain my own blog. I like writing to interact with other people. The act of writing is enjoyable but I‘d never considered writing articles until Rocco asked me to. I owe him for that, because it’s more rewarding than I thought it would be. I only write an article if it’s something I’m interested in and I think will interest readers. It may be impossible to find something original to opine about, but I usually choose under-reported subjects that are important and offer an original perspective. My favorite approach is to skewer subjects that need to be skewered.

Socrates would win hands down in my book.
A. Trolls all use multiple aliases so they’re hard to keep track of, but when it comes to trolls we’re both familiar with, it’s a toss-up between Dissenter/Carl2/Pedro and S1chiavo/Halpern/Shufflebuster. Distorter and Slave (S1chiavo,) were both consistently repulsive, but Slave infuriated me. When he gloated about muslims decapitating three teenaged Indonesian girls, I wanted to kill him.

I’m sure that distorter and Socrates are the same guy, so we’re on the same page there.

There are hordes of scumbags just like them at “The Democratic Underground,” “Daily Kos,” “Counterpunch” and other moonbat sites, but I never interact with them because I know my comments would be deleted--no matter how mild. Posters who don’t conform to the party line don’t have a voice in those places.

7 Is there a troll you like to swat around? Dana from MZ's blog is tailor made for this type of abuse.
A: I like swatting them all around but it gets boring after awhile because they’re usually so inept. I’ve been taking my anger out on a typical moron who goes by the screen name “Houstonmod” (Uselessrod,) over at “Republicus” and I had fun turning the tables on Mickey Benson on his lonely home page. He’s the squirrel who trolled my “Zarqawi Is Dead--The Left Weeps” article. He’s one of those young, na├»ve and stupid moonbats who honestly believes the left is altruistic and that Bush is the source of all evil in the world. His site is unintentionally hilarious.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Dana is nothing but a communist propagandist. Everything she writes seems to be straight from the CPUSA. Her anti-Semitism goes hand in hand with her vile ideology.

8 What are your thoughts on Ducky? I have limited respect for the Duck because he is original?
A: I have absolutely no respect for Mr. Dorky. I usually skip over his drivel so I missed anything original he wrote. He’s not as spastic as most other moonbats, but he’s just as dogmatic and dishonest. He refuses to acknowledge the truth no matter how many times it’s pounded into him. The little coward usually ignores me. He’s a good example of the left’s wimpy intellect and lack of principles. Why? He defends America’s enemies.

9 What do you think motivates these trolls? Warren’s theory is they are modern obscene callers. I think some like Socrates are failed writers with mental defects and zero social skills. Others like Uptown are street punks who come looking for a fight.
A: All of those observations are valid. The common thread is hatred of the other. They hate anyone who dares to disagree with their fanciful ideology. Crank callers do it for malicious kicks, Soc hates David Horowitz because he didn’t let him write for FPM and Skeev bought into the “Hate-Whitey” crap he learned in school. Self loathing often plays a part, as with Skeev, who obviously isn’t Black.

Leftist trolls are furious that voices have risen to counter the left’s indoctrination program. They had their goal in sight but we rose up to block them. They’re having trouble coming to terms with their dwindling influence. They went unopposed for so long that they started to believe their pretensions to superiority. They don’t want to lose their place as social elitists, even though that position is all in their heads. They’re power-mad.

10 I think Dana's last claim blaming the allies for the Holocaust is the prize winning most ignorant troll comment. She could top that by blaming slaves for not running fast enough to avoid capture. What is the most absurd troll comment you have seen?
A: There are too many to choose just one. I’ve seen other communists make the same outrageous claim that Dana did. They blame America for every conflict and pogrom on the planet--even if it was communists who carried them out! I’ve seen other Danas blame the US for the atrocities of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, the Viet-Cong, Pol Pot, the Sandinistas, the Farc rebels and any other commies I forgot.

The “Anarcho-Capitalists” who haunt Lew Rockwell’s site make some amazingly absurd claims. They believe that a nation can exist without armies or civil authorities in complete security and happiness. Most of their other notions are equally bizarre. The current moonbat prize for absurdity goes to whoever shrieks about Zarqawi being alive, or a CIA puppet. John Browneye has done both. That’s even stupider than using his death as a pretext to cut and run in Iraq. Browneye also takes the prize for being the most insane. I’m not exaggerating, that guy is nuts.

Bonus question I am familiar with Socrates writing style and history. What tipped you off to the fake Professor Meathead saga? He ran that scam for years but lost it
as soon as he was outed. He can not provide details about his creations as one of us would trip him up in seconds?
A: I knew he was a phony of some kind because he only posted on articles about higher education. He hates the Academic Bill of Rights because he hates its author, David Horowitz. He’s extremely ignorant and obviously poorly educated, but that doesn’t set him apart from most professors. I later noticed that he didn’t know anything about science, which he claimed to teach. He was getting his science factoids from Wikipedia. Science professors are some of the only competent professors teaching today because scientific laws are hard to politicize. That’s when I realized he wasn’t a professor. His descriptions of grading, testing and dealing with students were obvious bullshit. He didn’t know how to relate to women and he claimed to flirt with college chicks--who are the most promiscuous in America. He eventually stopped claiming to be a life science professor and switched to physics. I hated that punk and was glad you chased him off.
Islam

11 Is there a larger conflict with Islam that extends beyond the Middle East? Why do some fail to see a larger picture?
A: Islam is in conflict with its neighbors everywhere it exists in the world and Westerners fail to see this because they’re myopically complacent. Arab muslims aren’t the only ones trying to wipe out “infidels.” Terrorism is on the rise in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Even Thailand is suffering from terrorist attacks, and muslims are a detested minority there. They attack their neighbors in Australia, New Zealand, China, India, the Central Asian republics, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and everywhere else they live. They don’t even have to live in or near a country to attack it. The 911 terrorists and the Argentina bombers were from the Middle East. The Club Gitmo guests are from all over. Jihadis travel the world to blow things up.

12 Has the plight of Christians and other religious minorities living under Islamic hegemony been swept under the rug?
A: Not only has it been swept under the rug, but it’s usually denied. Even conservatives tend to be ignorant or apathetic about it. Even when it is discussed, it’s usually played down.

The Mulatto muslims in Sudan have been carrying out genocide against Blacks in the South and enslaving the survivors for longer than I can remember. It wasn’t until they started in on other muslims in the Darfur area that the establishment media batted an eye. Pogroms directed towards Christian and animist Blacks were fine but when muslim Blacks became victims the word “genocide” finally appeared.

It’s politically incorrect to note the oppressive nature of islam. Even most decent people are loathe to admit that islam is responsible for most of the armed conflict in the world.

Christian Americans are too tolerant for their own good and the secular left is glad to see Christians suffer in any country. I believe one of their mottoes is: “Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.”

13 Are human rights in Muslim countries ignored by the left?
A: Ignored and denied. Feminist groups and Black groups are especially guilty of this. They pretend to care about women and blacks but muslim misandry, racism and slavery are studiously ignored. They even go so far as to support the “Islamopaths” over America! Feminists and race hustlers have never been interested in equality. They’ve always worked to gain advantages over others, primarily White men because they’re the most successful. Like the muslims, they’re supremacists.

The rest of the left reflexively supports all enemies of America, no matter how unspeakably foul those enemies are. The Islamopaths are without a doubt the vilest, most worthless people that ever existed, but the left supports them because their socialist contumacy towards American society trumps all else. Because islam is waging a war against the Western culture they so despise, extra care is given to excusing muslim crimes.

14 Some have complained that democratic movements would result in a more aggressive fascistic movements like Hamas and the Islamic Brotherhood gaining more power. Is the push towards Islamo democracy a possible mistake?
A: Sure, it’s a possible mistake but I believe that having these scum out in the open works in our favor. Eventually America is going to have to take out every terrorist organization it can. Better to have openly terrorist regimes than ostensible allies like Saudi Arabia who pretend they have no control over terrorism. Saddam was free to deny culpability in terrorism when he was in power, which played into the hands of the Euro-trash and other weenies who opposed his overthrow. It’s harder to claim there isn’t a problem when elected leaders are openly practicing terrorism, like the mullahs in Iran. Even those assholes are crafty enough to deny their sponsorship whenever possible. Hamas doesn’t bother to hide their intentions. If Israel ever gets a leader with balls it’ll be much easier to take them out than it would have been the PA, which denies its terrorism.

Hamas and the Islamic Brotherhood have gained more power over other muslims, but they haven’t gained any power over others. They were already terrorist organizations. The real mistake was empowering a terrorist like Arafat as dictator in the first place. It opened the door to today’s insanity.

America’s democracy building projects were carried out because full-out war against islam is impossible in today’s socio/political climate. Wiping it out would solve the problem but Americans haven’t reached the point where they realize that it’s necessary.

If Iraq tries to slip into a theocracy Americans would demand action. What most people fail to notice is that there are troops in Afghanistan right now making sure that the Taliban doesn’t regain power, and they aren’t all American troops. Once a democracy is installed the UN can be pushed into “keeping the peace.” After all, it claims to be a peace-keeper. I’m sure this is what President Bush intended all along.

15 Should we tilt our policy and be more pro Indian? India is a reliable ally and a genuine democracy.
A: Definitely. Indians are intelligent and hard working people for the most part. They aren’t our enemies by any stretch of the imagination. Islam, China and even Russia are--whether Americans wearing blinders admit it or not. (Russians haven’t forgiven us for winning the Cold War they started. They blame the crappy state of their country on us.) India would make a great regional ally with very little effort. If the timid foreign policy makers here weren’t so afraid of offending our enemies, that effort would have been put forth already.

Personally, I like Indians. I hate muslims, I don’t like Chinese and I’m not too crazy about Russians.

Profanity

16 I tend not to use it myself, however do people like Ducky, Brown and Veggitown deserve four letter salutes? All of the above use it frequently themselves.
A: Profanity has it’s place and it should be used in moderation by men. Women should avoid using it whenever possible because it’s usually trashy when they do it.

I think written profanity is more acceptable than spoken profanity. I believe it can be more effective than polite language in certain situations. Addressing moonbat trolls is one of them. Excessive profanity defeats the purpose and is crass, but using it against pricks like Dorky, Browneye and Skeev is O.K. in my book. Using it in personal correspondences seems more civilized than doing it in public.

I don’t think avoiding profanity is foolish and I admire the restraint of people who do--so long as they’re being genuine, like you. I prefer an honest potty-mouth over an insincere choir boy.

Cursing in public is vulgar. I only use spoken profanity when I’m angry. Sometimes I believe it’s necessary to make a point and sometimes it’s unavoidable (for me.) Sometimes it helps let people know you’re serious about something.

I believe in short, angry outbursts on occasion as opposed to holding it in.

Guys who use profanity constantly, like the leftist retards you mentioned, are always the first to point fingers when a moderate or conservative does it. We’re held to a higher standard and I don’t like it when our side is overly solicitous of leftist sensibilities.

17 Does the use of profanity make us seem undisciplined? Am I old fashioned?
A: Used excessively it’s undisciplined. You’re a gentleman. Curse words weren’t invented yesterday.

A: Sexual harassment is a tool invented by female supremacists and lesbians to gain advantages over men and punish them when possible. It’s been carried to ridiculous extremes, as your tie story demonstrates.

Leftists think it should only apply to others. Anything they say is free speech protected by the 1st amendment. Anything someone else says that they don’t like is hate speech or harassment and they’re offended. They think they have a constitutional right not to be offended.

Women want to make sexual advances to men but most of them want men’s advances limited to handsome or wealthy men. Men are the same way about women. That’s understandable but I don’t support legislating it.

Most Blacks and leftists think they should be able to toss racial epithets like “cracker,” “redneck,” “White-boy” and “White-motherfucker” around with impunity while claiming words like “nigger” are verboten--unless used by Blacks. Free speech to them means free speech for them only.

Trying to score or telling a joke that’s overheard by a touchy busybody aren’t the same as the type of foul harassment Skeev directed at Barber. What he did shouldn’t be a crime, because she can ban him from her site at any time and probably did, but he deserves a pounding. I read what he wrote on her site and even though I don’t know Barber, it made me want to beat his ass.

I’m not sure what you mean about Donal, but I assume he called her a “cunt” or a “twat.” There’s no way Skeev was justified in using such words. I use them myself on occasion, but only if the person I’m describing is truly loathsome. Those aren’t words that can be taken back. Not really. They sure as hell aren’t casual or jesting words.

Victimology group rights

19 Does it seem like every group is a member of an official far left victims mode except Jewish or Christian white males? How does a colonial people with a 1400 year history of Jim Crowe practices rise to the top of this victims pyramid?
A: Every group that can seems to do so, yes. White Christians and Jews aren’t allowed to do so because they’re the alleged oppressors. Only “Hispanic” white males get hand outs, although I‘m sure the Wogs are next. US law allows women and other races their special rights, privileges and entitlements as victicrats, but denies them to white males.

The muslims are the left’s new pet project of victim-hood because they’re at war with America and the West. If Hindus or Free Masons were fighting us they’d be extended the same status.

20 Group rights and social Justice are antithetical to my vision of America. Is group rights a totalitarian concept?
A: It is when it’s taken too far. Most groups have the right to exist but they don’t deserve any favorable treatment. If one group attempts to control all others it’s obviously totalitarian. All of the groups crying for “social justice” are actually crying for advantages over others. They all think they can profit at the expense of others and hopefully gain ascendance. They lobby for group rights to circumvent the Constitution, which expressly forbids the government from establishing special classes of any kind. Equality is a simple concept and these vermin have corrupted it.

Racial and ethnic groups like the Congressional Black Caucus and MEChA should be outlawed because they use public money and set racist policies. Private groups like social clubs should be allowed, but not if they’re based on race because they’re destructive and there‘s no real community or brotherhood between members of the same race, no matter what the racists and leftists say. Ethnic clubs are fine so long as they don’t try to take advantage of others.

21 What does the far left mean by Social Justice? I see this as a pretext of theft of resources via social engineering.
A: Your right. They portray whoever is the most successful as unjust, and their wealth must be redistributed. The less successful segments of society are less successful because of institutionalized oppression.

The biggest problem with this is that when the most successful segment is finally supplanted by another, the irrational hatred for the former segment is still remembered and practiced. Look at the Jews under islam and communism, the Indians in Fiji, the Whites in Zimbabwe (assuming there are any left,) and the ethnic Chinese under Malay rule.

This particular policy of “social justice” has its roots in communism but most leftists are far too ignorant to know this.

Random

22 What brands of beer and alcohol are you fond of?
A: I like way too many beers to name. I like the New Belgium Brewing Company, Empyrean, Red Hook, Pyramid, Sierra Nevada, Bridgeport, Rogue, Thomas Kemperer, Pete’s Wicked, Avalanche, Flying Dog, Samuel Adams, and Guinness, just to scratch the surface. I prefer Stouts, Porters and Ales. Bitters and Lagers usually taste like they were bottom fermented in a toilet bowl and most Pilsners taste like they were bottom fermented with a toilet’s contents. I don’t know what they put in cans of Budweiser, Coors or Miller’s, but those aren’t real Pilsners. They’re probably fermented at sewage treatment plants. I like light wines like Grenache and Zinfandel, but they don’t go with all meals and I don’t like most red wines. There’s a beer for every meal although a few pints will fill me up along with the food. I don’t drink spirits.

23 Should students study the classic Greco-Roman writers of the past?
A: They should be required to study them, along with forgotten subjects like Civics and non-existent ones that teach kids how to deal with finances and other adult responsibilities. I always liked Seneca.

The study of writers and cultures that had little or no influence on Western Culture should be done for historical perspective--mainly on why other cultures suck so hard.

24 What films stand out in your mind as under rated classics and as over rated bores.
A: There are too many to list off the top of my head but one movie that nobody knows about is “Rancho Deluxe” with Jeff Bridges, Sam Waterson, Slim Pickens and Harry Dean Stanton. That movie was great from start to finish. “The Dogs Of War,” “The Legend Of The Lost,” “There Was A Crooked Man,” “Strange Cargo,” “Suspicion,” “UFOria,” “The Outlaw Josie Wales,” “The Green Berets” and “Revenge,” were all panned by critics and most of them performed poorly at the box office, if I remember correctly. They were uniformly excellent.

“Black Narcissus” and “The Straight Story” were two of the best movies I ever saw. Critically acclaimed but obscure.

“Black Narcissus” was about a group of Anglican nuns who were sent to a remote village in the Indian Himalayas to establish a convent in an old pleasure palace where a general used to keep his concubines. Instead of influencing the locals, the sensuous nature of their lonely surroundings and the presence of a British government agent end up tempting them. It sounds gay when I describe it but it wasn’t. The acting performances were some of the best I’ve ever seen, especially Kathleen Byron, who played a nun who goes over the edge. At the point where she snapped I could swear her eyes turned red. Deborah Kerr was the star, and she was great too. The acting and emotion conveyed by the actors’ facial expressions and body language were fantastic. It was made by a British writer/director team. “Powell and Pressburger.” I only saw one other movie they made but it was good enough to make me want to see some of their others.

“The straight Story” was Richard Farnsworth’s last role. He used to be a stunt man and when he became an actor he played a lot of bad guys because he looked like such a hard-ass, but later on he started playing kindly old men. I remember he played a bounty hunter in “Papillion” and a cold-eyed Comanchero in “The Outlaw Josie Wales.“ (Clint Eastwood killed him.) When he was old he played the coach in “The Natural,” and I think he was in “The Two Jakes” too. In “ The Straight Story” he played a guy named straight who wanted to go see his estranged brother, who was dying. His eyesight was too poor to have a driver’s license, so he drove his little tractor across 5 or 6 states. The movie was directed by David Lynch, of all people. Man, it was great.

“Easy Money” is one of the best comedies ever and criminally underrated.

Just about any movie that wins Oscars is overrated nowadays, especially if it wins Best Picture. I cant remember the last time a great movie won Best Picture and some of the best acting performances have been a joke. Tom Hanks as a retard in “Forrest Gump?” I don’t think so. Halle Berry in “Monster’s Ball?” She’s the worst actress in Hollywood. I’m going to be slammed for writing this and I didn’t see the installment, but I think “The Lord Of The Rings” movies were awful. Boring, too. Elves, “hobbits,” wizards, magic rings and “Mount Doom.” Gayer than gay.

25 What type of music do you listen to?
A: Just about anything but rap/hip hop, jazz and the crap they call R&B nowadays. Old rock and classical are my favorites but I also like real R&B, soul, blues, some jazz, Motown, some pop, Bluegrass, old country and regional/ethnic stuff. I even like bagpipes.

Bonus questions

26 Who is the most annoying celebrity?
A: Paris Hilton, hands down. I hate that squinty eyed, bony skank. I saw today that Forbes magazine named that pig number 56 on its list of 100 top celebrities. She’s a slut-ebrity. The only reason she’s famous is because she made a sleazy home sex video. I saw part of it on the internet and she couldn’t even do that right. At least Pamela Anderson was famous before she made her home pornos. Hilton has endorsement contracts, her own television series and movie roles.

Our society is getting sicker every day.

27 Is there one person you would like to drop on a remote Island so they could be out of the MSM news? Cindy Sheehan is my choice.
A: Hm. Just one person. I’d rather drop Cindy She-hag in the prisoner’s yard at Club Gitmo and take bets on how long she lasts with her freedom fighting heroes. She wouldn’t have to worry about being raped. Not even those hard-up gang rapists would go that far. They’d just torture her to death.

I’d say Jack Murtha, but that doddering old fool would think he’s at Club Med and he’ll probably be dead soon anyway.

It would have to be Hilary Clinton. The media establishment has their hopes pinned on that skag. The left would have group seizures if she disappeared. The Andaman Islands would be a good spot to maroon her because the primitive Negritos that inhabit the islands attack strangers on sight. Let her lecture those stone age savages about a global village.

An amazing interview well worth the wait

Great job, JB. I agree...Choosing big hooters over MZ in that fox hole would make perfect sense. Question: No spirits? I'd have pegged you as a Scotch drinker for sure, or maybe a Jamesons whisky guy. How'd you not get into that segment of the drinking genre?

Somehow if the idea is to get back alive out of that foxhole I would choose a quick nimble creative mind like Mr Beamish.

So this is where so many of my friends have been the past several hours? I should have known!

I'll be back later to check out the answers. Getting ready to go to the swimming pool. The steroids have kicked in, and I'm no pain-free enough to do some rehabilitation.

Educators on steroids may be a new trend. How it will impact students remains unclear. Steroids are used to promote healing. AOW is not going to challenge Barry Bonds to a homerun hitting contest, I hope.

Big Hooters? Cool. Jeff I am relatvely new to the community but I have enjoyed your comments. You're articulate and eloquent. I enjoyed your interview.

And a fine participant you are!

It was one lucky day when I found Beak and this little family here! No matter where I travel throughout the blogosphere, I always come back here--sort of my touchstone.

Beak & Jeff,
Wow! This is an outstanding interview--both questions and answers.

I'm going to go back and read all of it more thoroughly.

Beak,

LOL.

School is out for the summer, but on a weekly bases I still have piano students and one or two students to tutor, when my back allows for my teaching schedule.

Steroids are used to promote healing.

I was suffering so badly on Thursday that if the doc had said, "Into surgery with you this minute," I'd have gone.

I get one week only of the steroids, just to settle down the sciatic nerve. I'm getting back to normal, as of today.

AOW is not going to challenge Barry Bonds to a homerun hitting contest, I hope.

At my age? Hardly! I certainly don't want to bulk up. I don't feel an edge, that's for sure.

I used to be fair with the bat at school. My father taught me how to play baseball, but back then girls playing baseball was frowned upon, and I never much cared for softball. BTW, back in his youth, around 1930, Dad was offered a job with the Yankess--control pitcher. A scout spotted Dad playing sandlot ball and thought he had promise.

But Dad preferred the simple life, at home in the country. He refused to go with the agent. Too bad!

That equipment may not be the optimal resource for getting out of a foxhole. A sharp mind and an upbeat persona would be more optimal in that situation. Of course if I was stuck in a foxhole with Pam Anderson I could use her as a decoy and get away but little else.

MZ,

I never aquired the taste for spirits. A glass of scotch in the evening sounds nice, but as soon as it reaches my tongue, I change my mind. Cognac and brandy are even worse.

I'll be old soon. Maybe it will taste better then.

nanc said...

ditto, john. but picard could talk him out of the event, i'd bet, if i were a betting woman.

Jeff Bargholz said...

Nanc,

my comment about big hooters came from the old joke about which of 3 women a guy married: The pretty one, the good cook or the rich one?

I didn't marry a juggy. My wife cant cook and she isn't rich, but I don't have to worry about her geting knee-knockers.

Nanc, Kirk was pretty straight forward, if you needed a right to the jaw you wouldn't be talking about anything! Picard needs to stay at the wine tasting, or be used to mop up the spills.
Beaker- Mitchner is a detail writer, so is Tom Clancy, that is why I like thier books, they really dig into how things work! That's why I enjoy history, so much there to chew on!
Good interview! If you ever do a bad interview, I'd probably keel over in shock!
Good morning and G*D bless all!

It makes me wonder if they started their own blogs too. The shutting down of MBC that left me with a large chunk of time available that was formerly reserved for hitting the MBC comments. I was 100% motivated to blog.

Heres to David H and Richard P. They started a fire....
