Back at home R&R

I drove the 400 miles in around seven hours with two stops for gas. I di well until I got off the NJ Turnpike. The traffic was backed up for miles going to Staten Island. I was stuck for well over an hour.

The weather did not help my plans. My trip to Union Square will be delayed.

I really hate driving! Trying to get from San Jose back to Santa Cruz on Sunday was unbelievable, it could take 3 hrs. sometimes! It was normally a 35 to 40 min. trip normally, but on the weekends in summer... it was a nightmare. With 2 small children it became unbearable! There weren't many backroads because of all the parks, San Jose had a greenbelt law, so your choice of routes were limited. I hope your salmonella problem is being resolved!
Safe trip back!
Good morning and G*D bless!
