Yesterdays news

I have been extended through the end of September. The center where I work has a hiring freeze in effect. However, the other locations are not impacted by this freeze. The reality is that as a GS-9 I have little or no shot at the other jobs. I will apply to all of the openings but it doesn't look good.

I will be adding a link to Sonia Belle. She is a brilliant anti-communist who runs and adult oriented site. Her grasp of economics, history and art are superior and do not let the naked pictures fool you.

It's okay to be a pessimist, Beak. Then, if things work out, you'll have a happier surprise.

Are they naked pictures of Sonia Belle?

Mr Beamish

Most us are well rounded except Ducky who is a Communist pin head.
Nudity in and of itself comes in many cntexts. There is a difference between a Renoir and X rated fare like Debbie Does Dallas.

Most of us have a basic appreciation of the artistic and natural world except for Ducky who is alienated from reality as a acolyte of class genocide. Thus my yearning and reading of history and my passion for America is part of who I am.

We go through lives with varried interests and these interests reflect on who and what we are.
Sonia has a first rate mind, but sees the line between art and eroticism diferently than I do.

AOW

The hiring freeze in my home office puts me in a bind. When I apply outside the locale I am just a name and number. An applicant for a position to be graded. I will
have to venture beyond my office. However a GS-9 does faces very long odds. A GS-11 has a far better shot.

Beak, I'll look at whatever anyone wants me to see, twice if I like it.

But you didn't answer my question, hehehehe.

Mr Beamish

There are only one or two of her. I am a fan of classic art, but her political analysis are excellent.

okay - beamish is trying to ask you what the link is so he may go see if this person is legitimate. bet he needs a new background on his desktop...

Marketting. 36,000 page views to her profile.

Visuals conquer all. Video killed the radio star.

Intellect does not stir one to action. It takes a muse. The Cor in courage.

But too much muse detracts, IMO. I prefer an ankle, to a calf. Others require more encouragement! It depends upon ones "thresholds" for relativity and standards of virtue.

The sacred and the profane should stick to their own spheres.

Like rhetoric and dialectic.

Proportion. It's all in just proportions. And low culture is just too easy. She lost me, beak.

Plato, "Philebus"...

SOCRATES: And from a like admixture of the finite and infinite come the seasons, and all the delights of life?

PROTARCHUS: Most true.

SOCRATES: I omit ten thousand other things, such as beauty and health and strength, and the many beauties and high perfections of the soul: O my beautiful Philebus, the goddess, methinks, seeing the universal wantonness and wickedness of all things, and that there was in them no limit to pleasures and self-indulgence, devised the limit of law and order, whereby, as you say, Philebus, she torments, or as I maintain, delivers the soul.-- What think you, Protarchus?

Damn. It was just as I imagined.
