The great biased media and the death of Pinochet

Gen Pinochet died and the comwads are out in force before his body is laid to rest. It seems the far left dolts in the media have two sets of standards for dictators. Yahoo news seems to find it noteworthy that Pinochet ammased a fortue of seventeen million. This is chump change comared to the amounts looted by Arafat, Castro, Kim Jong Mentally Ill and Mugabbe. Even the 3000 dead by his rule in a civil war is a number far lower than all the above.

Pinochet was hounded by a series of lawsuits by communist agitators. These agitators seem to give leftist vermin like Arafat and Ortega a free pass. Helicopter massacres of indigenous people with Pseudostinian advisors are just peachy. When the Native Americans fight back the left calls them drug runners or Samoza's National guard. The current spate of Commie thugs will bring several coups in the future. Pinochet was a patriot who did not want his country to be ruined by Communism.

Has the media discussed Arafat, Kim Jong Mentally Ill and Castro's fortunes made off of coruption. The media barely discusses the Clinton shady book deals, selling of pardons and unethical campaign fund raising. Maybe Pinochet should have written his own book. No doubt his book would be less boring than either Clintons book. Moreover, Pinochet could probably write the book himself without Ghost writers. Even Wrestler Mick Foley apparently manages to write his own books.

We hear the platitudes from the Left about Cuban health care and everyone can read what they are told to read. There were no platitudes about Pinochet from those on the right. He was a Chilean patriot who saved his country from becoming another Cuba.
Any comparison of Castro, Mugabe, Assad and Arafat is an insult to Pinochet.

Beamish in 08, Ducky to Gitmo and John Brown to North Korea with Kim Jong Mentally Ill

Duck

Killing Communists is a public service and the three thousand is chump change compared to Cuba, Vietnam, Zimbabwe and Cambodia. The General was a patriot and saved his Country from Marxist domination.

It is funny how the left uses selective morality. We will see new Pinochets very soon if the economies in Latin America do not shape up.

I would like to compare this to the headlines when Castro assumes room temperature.

Wrong again Duncy, it seems the Duck is ignorant of Rios Mont's bullets and beans program. The idea was to arm the peasants and prevent Communist thug abuses. There were no whole scale refugee issues like that of the Sandinazis.

Moreover, even Mental Ward Churchill and Russel Means took up arms against the Sandinazis. Meanwhile MA fellow traveler Tip Oneill, took his foriegn policy clues from the Commieknoll nuns a disorder and a disgrace to the Catholic Church. We can also add Gomer Kerry's authorship of the dear Comondante letter.

Are Ward Churchill and Russel Means left enough for you. While the genocide went on where was Gnome, Gomer and Ed Asssssner?

Lets see anti Catholic tirade against the peversion of Liberation theology denounced by the Pope and the current Pope as appostasy. This would be mildly amusing if it had a basis in fact. The Commie Knoll nuns were an embarassment to Rome.

Lets see where were the Guatamalean refugees. It seems that you forget about impressment of locals by Commie thugs trained by Cuban. The Bullets and Beans program put weapons in the hands of the locals who resited Communist agression. Russel Means and Churchill did not take up arms against Rios Mont. They did take up arms against the Sandanazis.

Are Ward Churchill and Means far enough to the left or do you need Stalins or Mao's information.

Wikepedia is a joke site.

Ducky..were you on the bus down to Nicaragua to celebrate when Daniel Ortega was re-elected?
I'm sure you gave him a free pass for killing political prisoners and former landowners.
I'm sure the forcible relocation of Miskitos can be explained away being good for the many.

I'm not sure how to look at Pinochet. He kept his country free of communism but overthrowing a democratically elected government to do so doesn't make him a hero in my book.
It seems his own country is divided on how to look at him. Some celebrated while others openly grieved.

I'm glad you did a post on Pinochet. Chile is a much better nation because of his benevolent and pro-humanity rule. Anyone who sees the trouble that the existence of Marxists causes for a free society and takes measures to return all that unused brain matter to the soil gets high marks in my books.

Pinochet is directly responsible for the deaths of over 2,000 leftists.

There aren't enough Pinochets in the world.

Only 3K dead in 20 years? This guy doesn't even appear as a feint blip on the radar compared to the leftist body counts.
