I did participate in Passport week and should have my passport in a few weeks. For an extra 20 dollars there is a passport card for short trips to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Unfortunately, this card is not good for my trip to Guyana. In many ways the card is better because the information is scan able. Ideally, I would love to see these cards replace passports, but it will not happen.

I find it amusing in an era where the Obama administration is addressing don't ask don't tell that it has not addressed mistreatment of Jews in the armed forces. One can read some of these stories in the press. My family in the military are officers and have not experienced this, but they are high ranking officers. The stories that come out have dealt with new recruits.

Interesting, we move from passports to some wackjob accusation of mistreatment of Jews in the military.

Don't deal with Don't Ask Don't Tell, Beak is still fantasizing about some slight to the Jews.

Guyana!? Jonestown!? I wouldn't drink the water but I've heard they make a killer Strawberry/Banana Daiquiri KoolAid down there.

Duncy

Let Obama end the harassment of Jews.

Winters

Kindly post under your own name. Jim Jones was a commie and all of his followers were like Ducky. None of the people who drank the Koolaide were Guyanese. Only stupid American commies like the Duck drink Koolaide. As Commies are
mendicants this is about all they can afford.

I will be going with the locals to the rain forest. I may take a short trip to Suriname.

Maybe some bright guy will issue hunting permits for commies. Lets see I got an Pot Smoking American Trotskyite at 200 yards. Unfortunately, they can only be killed with ice picks. As they have no spines, brains or hearts they are quite hard to kill.

Then again with all the pot smoking they have short lifespans.

He can't Beak. In your twisted world view that harassment is perpetual and critical to your identity.

Remember, you didn't leave the GayEagle hate site until he started criticizing Jews. Your obsession is just as developed and warped as his.

"Remember, you didn't leave the GayEagle hate site until he started criticizing Jews. Your obsession is just as developed and warped as his."

That is not true, Duck. Beak left because the racism became too much for him, but always remained adamant that the Naughty Chicken is not an antisemite. In this context, he (Beak) still owes me a reply to my question what he thinks a man is who states that the redeeming quality of the Holocaust (as opposed to other genocides) is that it was at least "about race".

Beak, Yeagley doesn't love the Jews. His obsession with them comes partly of the cult he follows and partly it is plain old antisemitism that doesn't dare to show its true colors. (He is in a predicament here.) He never has the same reasons a sane, straight, reasonable and kind man may have to admire people. His are warped and perverse. I found his misplaced admiration of Germany and the Germans always quite embarrassing, kind on a par with the somewhat hamfisted compliments I received in Ireland more than thirty years ago. It always went like that: "God bless you! We need somebody a little bit like Hitler!" But those seriously kind but misled people didn't try to sell themselves as "political pundits". However, I noticed lately to my intense relief that he has withdrawn his admiration from us Teutons (I guess somebody has whispered in his ear that open admiration for the Austrian housepainter might harm his *snigger* political ambitions) and as he isn't interested in German things that have NOT to do with Bubba Adolf, he transfered his somewhat unappetising attention to the Celts:

"Recently, I have acknowleged [sic!] the view that the foundational Aryan race is not Teutonic, but Celtic. I have looked more and more into this, and considering the available information, I’m more or less convinced. I herewith declare unanimous-, unambiguous- and authoritatively that the earth is flat."

Grin and bear it like men, my Scottish friends! If somebody knows how embarrassing it is, it's I (me?). But believe me, you'll get over it.

Yeagley is a stupid man and at times says things that are embarrassing. His site is a wreck and now Batty Ann
is picking fights with Ajibik. The site has very few posters and Batty Ann never contributes anything.

I wish everyone would stop calling Yeagley gay. According to the Duck we are supposed to be upset about his racism while he gay bashes a person who is not gay. This is yet another example of commie hypocrisy.

Onto the Editrix, Yeagley at times is a light weight. Sometimes his comments are embarrassing. We both are aware of examples of him using materials from books he has not bothered to read.

The Holocaust was a populist leftist exploitation of a mental pathology that continues until the present. Populism itself is never coherent, rational or consistent.
Angry mobs seldom have logic or consistency. There were racial theories in the mix, but they were not coherent. Nothing on the far left is ever coherent. The only thing that is consistent on the far left is the persecution of Jews, especially those who practice the faith.

"I wish everyone would stop calling Yeagley gay."

For Heaven's Sake, Beak! I wish well-meaning, straight men like you would stop uttering their totally reality-removed, liberal views on homosexuals. If somebody is a textbook case of a homosexual man, it's Yeagley. I could explain it item by item, but you wouldn't listen anyway. You may ask now why Yeagley's sexual orientation does matter at all. I have said innumerable times before: It wouldn't if there weren't more to it than just bedroom dealings. Some "gays" (I resent that moniker) think it's appropriate to aggressively and publicly flaunt their bare bottoms and penises to corrupt us, some express their hatred of women and their own disposition under the cover of pseudo-intellectual drivel at online fora. The agenda is the same. I could make my case point for point, but, as I said, you wouldn't listen anyway.

Your views on the Holocaust are gibberish. Like many American Jews whose ancestors left Europe before Nazi pressure forced them, you are talking about something you know very little about. You may ask me now what *I* know about it. I am from the perpetrator people. I know better than I ever wanted to know what the Holocaust was and why and how it happened. A "populist leftist exploitation of a mental pathology" has nothing to do with it. I know you wouldn't be CONSCIOUSLY cynical, but rest assured: you ARE.

Editrix,

Knowing beforehand that your "why and how the Holocaust happened" argument will seek to exonerate leftists like Adolf Hitler of his leftism, I still would like to see your point of view on the matter so I might address it in specifics.

It is my view that Nazi anti-Semitism is well grounded in the leftist ideologies Hitler would have been familiar with, and the "kill Jews to end capitalism" tenet of faith held by even today's leftists was very much the driving for behind the Holocaust.

The_Editrix said...

Beamish, I have no interest in exonerating Hitler of anything and I give an aviating fornication what you call him. It's okay for me. I rarely argue about semantics. I respect that you adher to a different terminology and I would appreciate if you'd reciprocate that civility. But whatever. To reduce antisemitism to "kill Jews to end capitalism" is so mind-bogglingly dumb that it defies belief. Hitler said as well: “The heaviest blow which ever struck humanity was Christianity; Bolshevism is Christianity’s illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew.” So there!

Historians have classified six explanations as to why people hate the Jews:
1. Economic -- The Jews of 17th- 20th century Poland and Russia were dirt poor, had no influence and yet they were hated.

2. Chosen People -- a) In the late 19th century, the Jews of Germany denied "Choseness." And then they worked on assimilation. Yet, the holocaust started there. b) Christians and Muslims profess to being the "Chosen people," yet, the world and the antisemites tolerate them.

3. Scapegoat -- Any group must already be hated to be an effective scapegoat. The Scapegoat Theory does not then cause antisemitism. Rather, antisemitism is what makes the Jews a convenient scapegoat target. Hitler's ranting and ravings would not be taken seriously had he said, "It's the bicycle riders who are destroying our society."

4. Deicide -- a) the Christian Bible says the Romans killed Jesus, though Jews are mentioned as accomplices (claims that Jews killed Jesus came several hundred years later). How come the accomplices are persecuted and there isn't an anti-Roman movement through history? b) Jesus himself said, "Forgive them [i.e., the Jews], for they know not what they do." The Second Vatican Council officially exonerated the Jews as the killers of Jesus. Neither lessened antisemitism.

5. Outsiders -- With the Enlightenment, many Jews rushed to assimilate. Antisemitism should have stopped. Instead, for example, with the Nazis came the cry, in essence: "We hate you, not because you're different, but because you're trying to become like us! We cannot allow you to infect the Aryan race with your inferior genes."

6. Racial Theory -- The overriding problem with this theory is that it is self-contradictory: Jews are not a race. Anyone can become a Jew - and members of every race, creed and color in the world have done so at one time or another.

Every other hated group is hated for a defined reason. Jews are hated in paradoxes: Jews are hated for being a lazy and inferior race and for dominating the economy and taking over the world, for stubbornly maintaining separateness and for assimilating i.e. posing a threat to racial purity through intermarriage, as pacifists and as warmongers, as capitalists and as communists, as possessed of a Chosen-People mentality and as a people with an inferiority complex. [Basically not my own text.]

So why are the Jews really hated?

If you'd be able to look beyond your ridiculous obsession to paint every evil in the world with the "leftist commie" brush, you'd know why. Hitler himself said it and it has nothing whatsoever to do with left right, center, red, blue or green with pink polka dots:

“The Ten Commandments have lost their validity. Conscience is a Jewish invention, it is a blemish like circumcision.”

“Providence has ordained that I should be the greatest liberator of humanity. I am freeing man from the restraints of an intelligence that has taken charge, from the dirty and degrading self-mortification of a false vision called conscience and morality, and from the demands of a freedom and independence which only a very few can bear.”

“If only one country, for whatever reason, tolerates a Jewish family in it, that family will become the germ center for fresh sedition. If one little Jewish boy survives without any Jewish education, with no synagogue and no Hebrew school, it [Judaism] is in his soul. Even if there had never been a synagogue or a Jewish school or an Old Testament, the Jewish spirit would still exist and exert its influence. It has been there from the beginning and there is no Jew, not a single one, who does not personify it.”

The Jews are hated because they brought ethics and morality -- the human conscience -- to this world. Monotheism. They invented God, or, if you like, they EXPLAINED God to the heathens. So every Jew will, by his sheer existence, remind a godless man of his godlessness and he won't be able to put his mind at rest as long as there is still a single Jew alive. Hitler said it in lieu of all antisemites, past, present and future. And what you or I call him, left, right or whatever, is of no importance.

Editrix,

The ridiculous equating of Judaism with capitalism itself comes right out of Karl Marx's pen, and shows up in many other leftist writer's works, from Proudhon to Bakunin. You find that warped idea deeply entrenched in the writings of one of Hitler's favorite leftist philosophers, Johann Gottlieb Fichte, and even more modern age leftists adhere to it:

"Auschwitz meant that six million Jews were killed, and thrown on the waste-heap of Europe, for what they were: money Jews. Finance capital and the banks, the hard core of the system of imperialism and capitalism, had turned the hatred of men against money and exploitation, and against the Jews … Anti-Semitism is really a hatred of capitalism." - Ulrike Meinhof of the leftist Red Army Faction (aka Bader-Meinhof Gang).

I don't understand your hesistancy to identify Hitler and the Nazis as what they were - leftists.

"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." -Adolf Hitler

Anti-capitalism in any form automatically disqualifies someone from the right-wing.

Editrix (quoting Yeagley): "Recently, I have acknowleged [sic!] the view that the foundational Aryan race is not Teutonic, but Celtic. I have looked more and more into this, and considering the available information, I’m more or less convinced.

And this has to be true, because, as we're all aware, Goebbels was kept extremely busy buildiing Gaelic schools all over Nazi Germany.

Oh aye, it's April Fool's Day.
