Beak, interesting list of trolls, i see you always making new friends, but if i had to pick i would give the award to Ducky, just because he's a cool troll, hate him or like him, he does get people talking, Stickupmyass Steve is not really a troll, more of a arrogant jackass, than again that would identify a couple people i know. 167 is not really a troll because he does not comment much or really have anything of intrest to say here or on his own blog, i honestly believe you two just like ragging on each other, frankly it's a unhealthy relationship, but also very entertaining, kinda like a old married couple.

Rob

Ducky is the official troll of this blog. We have high standards.
I find it odd that 167 posted here under that name. That is the ultimate comedic tribute when a target starts to acknowledge a joke. I have no idea why he is still crying about me still. He has claimed that he doesn't read the blog but is on the site meter daily.

167 was here in the early days of this blog and fled rather then deal with Jason Pappas. There was a memorable exchange between 167
and Jason Pappas on the Disgruntled Chemist. Robert Lindsay is even creepier but doesn't like to be smacked around either.

I dont really have a problem with Robert Lindsay, he helped me with some html issues in the early days of my blog, he does however have a twisted view on life Quality vs Quantity.

I'd say the Weasel... You really hit the nail on the head with your description!! How funny.

beakerkin said...

I wonder if Weasie will campaign. He does visit and his site is still small.

the merry widow said...

Uptown Seteve as Most Incoherent. I'm using his spelling, so he can't complain! Not that that would stop him.

I would actually list uptown steve as the most entertaining. Ducky as the most boring, 167 as the largest ego.

Beak,
Least Entertaining John Brown same story day in and day out.

Definitely!

Most Entertaining Ducky has moments when he is talking about movies and is a cut above the other trolls.

Duck's political and economic boring is johnny-one-note, but when he speaks of movies and literature, I find him interesting.

Runner Up Anum Writes her post and then leaves. Not much content

Cowardly, too. Anum avoids Beamish and Jason.

Florian is right; Dana (You Moron) is definitely the biggest idiot, Beak. A leftwing, anti-Semite, arab apologist, utopian-socialist Jew? How can you out idiot that?

beakerkin said...

MZ

Dana is stupid but it is as I said before Socialist and Commies are not Jews or Americans.

the merry widow said...

Beaker- Warren and AoW both have mine, I know, so we'll connect somehow. Leaving for church soon, catch you around 12:30pm!
Thanks for your help, it seems roundabout, but I don't want my e-mail publicised! You understand, I know.

I'm not sure we can truly call Ducky a troll. As a leftist, he is behaviorally obligated by his mind-decaying memes to convince people that he's an idiot. He can't help himself, until he figures out what it was in his early life that convinced him that using his mind to consider and reason through anything was a waste of time and overcomes it, thus breaking leftism's allure upon his sub-moronic intellect.

Measurably, LoBrow, Da Weaz, and Uptownseteve seem to be affected by a higher stage of leftism's effects than Ducky, caused by years and years of abuse and non-use of whatever active brain cells remained after the decision to become a leftist was made.

Perhaps Ducky only comes off as dumber than a bowl of oatmeal... no, half a bowl of oatmeal, because is merely a wannabe leftist.

Well, I have a not-so-special place in my heart for John Brown.

Heart, Brooke? That's not where I would put the place!

Beamish,

At my blog, Duck has said that he's quite wealthy. "Capitalist leftist"???

Mr. Ducky said...

AOW, yes, I am wealthy. also live pretty simply. I own a 1997 Saturn and my primary spending is on my film library.

As I have said, the right wing seems to be genuinely confused when a feftist has money. Well, so be it but I have some and I have put it in trust for family members because I'm simply noy going to have them go through the crap that is going to result from the destruction of America's middle class. Simple as that.

Beak seems to enjoy it when I talk about film. Criterion recently released Yasujiro Ozu's "Late Spring" on DVD. As in most of Ozu's greatest films it covers the breakup of the family and tradition in postwar Japan. Ozu is a true minimalist, he never moves his camera (except for that elevator shot in "Early Summer") and depends on dialogue and composition to propel the story.

He doesn't need a 120 camera array and a rendering bank...he's the real deal. Camera, medium focus lens, 3.5 foot tripod and surgical strikes to the heart. An elderly man's daughter has married and we see him peeling an apple. That's all Ozu needs to break your heart.

If you have a netflix account I would strongly suggest cueing this film or another Ozu such as "Tokyo Story". Really, you have to see Ozu direct Setsuko Hara at least once in your life.

nanc said...

okay - enough about money! i'd like all the thousandaires to weigh in here and tell us what makes you wealthy!

shrek - now there was a great movie.

Duck said:
" As I have said, the right wing seems to be genuinely confused when a feftist has money."

Why ducky, there's no confusion. We know what hypocrites left wingers are, (at least I assume a feftist is a leftist). They just want everyone else to foot the bill (quack, quack).

You know the descriptive terms, limousine Liberal, Cadillac Marxist.

"An elderly man's daughter has married and we see him peeling an apple. That's all Ozu needs to break your heart."

Gives a whole new meaning to the acronym, PETA.

Excuse me while I go peal an onion.

Mr. Ducky said...

Warren, you're going to take down Ozu?

You are a stunning example of the drek we get when the pop culture market regresses to the mean.

Mr. Ducky said...

Hey Warren, can I borrow your "Police Academy" box set?

Warren said...

Struck a nerve Ducky?

"Warren, you're going to take down Ozu?"

I guess I just did!

I'd rather watch mold grow.

LOL!

" Hey Warren, can I borrow your "Police Academy" box set?"

Why Ducky! If I had one, I'd damned sure let you borrow it. It might be a little over your head though. I don't think there are any apple peeling scenes.

Maybe in the directors cut,

Yea Duck, I'm all about pop culture.

Mr. Ducky said...

No warren, I don't think you have what it takes to make it to the pop culture level.

Mr. Ducky said...

However warren, you do have an odd mix of topics over at Longe Range. Your first love is obviously describing your current strap on (firearm that is) but you devote some space to poetry.

You post Frost's "Stopping by Woods", a poem that speaks strongly about social responsibility, also Ozu's maint theme.

So I don't know if you are simply inconsistent or you don't know your ass from your elbow. I suspect the latter.

Mr. Beamish the Instablepundit said...

Warren,

Because intelligent people tend to avoid beign mistaken for leftists, you have to understand that an Iranian "documentary" knock-off of a 10 year-old American cable TV series (Taxicab Confessions) would to Ducky become the be all end all of insights into Persian culture.

Leftists should get out more.

Warren said...

Ducky,
I have no time for petty people, pop culture or self-styled elites. You are all the same to me.

Frost's Poem speaks to personal responsibility.

Please fill in this blank:

Warren, should care what Ducky thinks, because:
