In Denial

The sons of class genocide contine to deny realty. They feign ignorance and demand sources for widely known stories. The brain drain caused by Hugo has been widely reported. One can see an excellent post on this subject from Rodger Williams. A small country is not in the top five sources of H-1b petitions by accident. Venezuela may even be as high as number 3 behind China and India. How does a small country send so many, it is simple add Communism and people head for the doors.

The USA should welcome these Venezuelans. They will become solid anti-Communists much like the Cuban Americans in time. Sadly, we can not ship American Communists to Venezuela. Maybe if our government got serious about enforcing the laws of treason we could send Commies who have broken US law like the folks at Code Pink to Venezuela, after denaturalization of cours.

I will have to add a link to the 9-11 Conspiracy Smasher. It seems that the usual suspects are blaming the Joooooos for the pipe explosion in NYC. It seems that the far left is full of Elmer Fudd types.

Beak, you said:
" The sons of class genocide contine to deny realty."

Not just class genocide but genocide over all. Barack Obama showed the true colors of the Democratic Party Thursday in NH.

"The United States cannot use its military to solve humanitarian problems and that preventing genocide in Iraq isn't a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there."

He went on to say:

"We would be deploying unilaterally and occupying the Sudan which we haven't done. Those of us who care about Darfur don't think it would be a good idea,"he said.

I agree with you how sad that we cannot deport Hillary, Bill, Harry, Ted, Nancy and Barack down to help Hugo rule. When the Genocide starts in Venezuela these people will of course deny it is happening.

I would strongly recommend anyone to take seriously what these people are telling us because we are only one election away from becoming the next Communist bloc.

As Kruchev said:

"The more democratic we become the more socialistic the U.S. will become."

Keith Thompson suggests in 'Leaving the Left', that the far left will always do just the opposite of what Main Stream America believes in.

So if waving your flag and loving your Country is what most people are about, the far left will hate the flag and hate the United States, the question really is, if the far left hates America so much, just who are they loyal to? My guess would be Communism and Socialism, which are direct opposites of traditional America, which would be right in line with how radical leftism has been since the 60's.

Just listen to Obama and Hillary. They want to equalize income. They are all about taking from the have's and giving to the have-not's.

What's worrisome to me is that too many Americans don't see their statements for what they are: spouting socialism.

Leftism is just the vehicle.

I disagree slightly with this assessment. It's not that the left will always oppose the beliefs of the mainstream. For over 300 years, leftists have primarily busied themselves with convincing rational people that all leftists are blitering idiots. Note the painstakingly meticulous care that leftists have traditionally taken to avoid having logic and coherency spring forth from their lips in the presence of a historian who might record such unique utterances.

Keith Thompson's slight error can be forgiven, as he has only recently "left the Left," and is just now growing accustomed to using his head for more than a hatrack.

Americans do not see it for what it is because we have since the 60's, been deluged with a socialistic media both visual and print. Both media and the Democrats espouse a feel good philosphy to win over Americans while glossing over the true consequense.

They prey on the poor by using class envy to get votes with their take from the haves and give to the have not's philosophy. This sounds great on the face of it however, by the time they take their cut of what the have's, have there is nothing left to give to the have not's.

Edwards has declared war on poverty and has sworn to end it in our life time. Well,(church lady voice) isnt he special. Some one should remind him that in 1964 LBJ declared war on poverty and vowed to end it in our life time. Well, at that time there were 30 million people in America below the poverty level. Isn't it amazing that 43 years and One Trillion (now that is big bucks folks) later we still have 30 million people below the poverty level.

Obama is advocating a “living wage” that would go up as inflation rises and he has promised to eliminate the phrase “working poor.”

Well, my goodness Wonder Boy that phrase is just so original (not) I have heard that from every democrat since LBJ to today. Getting rid of the phrase does not get rid of the problem. Does telling someone they are no longer the called the "working poor" pay the bills or put more food on the table. "NO" it does not.

Increasing the minimum wage does nothing since employers have to raise their prices to cover the increase. They just do not understand that, for every action there is a equal opposite reaction. Raise wages and prices rise.

When I asked my Daddy who was a life long Republican in a family of life long Democrats why, he was a Republican he said simply " I learned how to Read so, "I" not the government could take care of my family.

As old Abe said, "Give a man a fish and you have fed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you have fed him for life."

Want to end poverty, simple educate the people in true work place skills. Not this leftist bilge being taught in our high schools and colleges today that you are special and the government owes you everything.

robt bayn, that quote about the far left and mainstream America would have rung truer had the far left not indoctrinated high school and college kids so well by now. The far left does seem to hate America. I'm not one who feels wearing a flag pin is a badge of patriotism, but I'll never forget DOnohue interviewing Brokaw shortly after 9/11 and Donohue's starting the interview with "Oh, thank goodness you're not wearing a flag pin." ..to which Brokaw smirked "..as if we have to be sporting the flag to be American." WHat bothered me was the attitude. SO don't wear one, why smirk about those who do? Motivation?? and that attitude's continued, of course.

I had never heard this quote that justin posted above "The more democratic we become the more socialistic the U.S. will become." "The more democratic we become the more socialistic the U.S. will become." At first, I was horrified because it seemed so true, then I remembered Putin's old KGB colors are coming out and Russia seems lately to be going less democratic than he made it originally look!!

If any of you hasn't seen THE LIVES OF OTHERS, by the way, I highly recommend it (German 'best foreign film' this year). Wm Buckley has said "it's the best film I have ever seen". I'd have to come real close to agreeing...and I think the very last line in the film is the best of any film, including Rhett Butler's, by a long shot. see the film. If you don't, believe me, you will "give a damn!"

That's exactly what I was getting at.
