The Tea Party

The Tea Party was an amazing event and I met amazing people. There is some anger about the direction of the country.

The planners did not do a good job with the speakers as they were often not heard

I did get a chance to meet with AOW. She is an amazing person who is charming and witty.

On the bad side what is going on with the DC coffee shops opening up in unison at 8am. Obviously they do not like business.

I also wonder how Johny Rockets stays in business. The food is terrible and if I want that fare I will
head to Checkers where food is much better by multiples. I was at TGI Fridays and the food was fairly good.

I met scores of amazing people from all over. There is an anger in the land about Obama and I wish he would just produce his damned birth certificate so we can end this already.

I do want to point out to the birthers. At the time Obama was born a United States Citizen female could not confer citizenship on a child born abroad. Obama was in essence born out of wedlock as his father was allready married to someone else. Sometimes government officials take the law into their own hands because the law is objectionable. The problem with mothers not being able to confer citizenship to their children was remedied in the 70's. In the early 60's
children born out of wedlock was a big deal. The United States does not recognize polygamous unions. In general the second marriage is considered null and void.

There is an anger in this land about the direction we are headed in. Some of it is on target and other than Acorn Sucks there weren't too many exchanges with opposition. I would loved to have seen some Code Pink types show up, but they wisely stayed home.

Well the administration as well as most of the Democrats and a lot of Republicans have been unresponsive to the people. They have forgotten that they govern by the consent of the governed. And its not just Obama. I think this frustration has been slowly building for at least a decade or more. Its just coming to a head now because of the accelerated push for the new programs and expenditures by the Obama-Pelosi-Reid trinity.

The Bush stimulus followed by the Obama stimulus promised to avert the economic downturn and high unemployment rate we are now experiencing. We have an additional three trillion dollars of debt in 7 months and the highest unemployment rate in 26 years, plus Congressmen who openly admit to not reading the bills and worse, saying they don't need to read them before passing them.... And it is evident that the dollar is threatened with collapse and there is open talk of colluding with the UN to create a new global currency. Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why so many people are angry.

But Washington tries to conduct business as usual and thinks it can solve all problems for all people simply by mandating it so and running the printing presses 24/7.

Beak, it was huge. People really are upset. Imagine the Million Man March had days of coverage, coming and during and after, and this got ...what, ten min. total on CNN? MSNBC? ABC CBS NBC? Etc.
But, it sure had an impact on the thugs because, for something that didn't get reported on and has been mocked and scoffed, the libs were in overdrive this morning about it...and, of course, they're backtracking ALREADY.

There will never be the success we all would like to see because our kids have been so indoctrinated that even if we had taken the HUGE stimulus money banks, etc., got, and given it to small businesses to grow America FROM within and actually enabling our people to pay the debt BACK, I'm pretty sure most Americans don't have it in them to work hard enough anymore. that's what bugs me most.
Oh, and a completely dishonest media.

I'm glad you had a good day...did you meet FrogBurger (from France?) with Always?

LOL!

I was running on only 4 hours' sleep.

But neither Mr. AOW nor I regret being sleep deprived. We just had to meet up with you early!
