Wasted Lives

Much of our problems can be directly traced to the useless generation. While our best went off and served and many did not return. There was a narcicistic vile element that seemed to think it spoke for America. I am refering to the loathsome anti war protesters of the Vietnam war.

These far left goons seem to think that betraying ones own countrty and ensuring Communist hegemony and bloodshed in Southeast Asia was a good thing. In fact these vermin define their entire lives by their acts of stupidity.

However as time moved by the Vietnam Veteran was restored to his rightful place as hero. Even in a comedy like Forrest Gump the protesters are shown as self centered drug abusing jerks. Gomer Kerry did not run as an anti war protester. However he did not appologize for his vile comments before congress. Most people forget how the Swift Boat Veterans started. Gomer Kerry has an account of his Vietnam service writen by Brinkley and he attempted to make himself a hero while denigrating his fellow officers. Had Kerry not insisted in the falsehoods in the Brinkley book there would have never been a swift boat ad.

The media had a range of questions that it did not ask Gomer Kerry. In fact his entire record as a Communist dupe should have been front and center. VVAW was a communist front group co founded by a fake Vietnam Vet and genuine Communist Al Hubbard. John Kerry when did you know Al Hubbard was a communist and a fake. Did you commit treason by meeting with the enemy while a member of the US Naval reserve? Have you released your military records yet.

The problem is that many members of the media are also part of the worst generation.
This is why we continue to see so many dysfunctional Vietnam Veteran stories that are unchecked. Unlike today with the internet there were no checks on an out of control media populated by the products of far left journalism mills.

Yet a mere ten years after the Vietnam war the public notably my generation restored the Vietnam veterans to their place as heroes. Unfortunately, there was a flood of impostors seeking the limelight. BG Burket shows example after example of people who were never in Vietnam telling off the wall stories and the media does not check. The basic reason is that many members of the media wasted their lives in a crusade against their own countryand need to justify their wasted lives . They also continually seek to justify the abuse of people who were their betters and the direct result of their handiwork thirty years of repression and human rights abuses in Vietman.

Many of todays antiwar protesters are the same exact people trying to recreate their fictional "glory" years. However as in the Vietnam Era the protests are led by Communists and Commie front groups. People like the Duck try to play word games but Code Pink, ANSWER and UPJ are communist front groups. The next time you see an older protester thank them for thirty years of Communist Human rights abuses, boat people and Killing Fields. Ask them how long they have been Communist dupes? If you think that this is harsh remember what our heroes were subjected to when they returned home. I have yet to hear any member of the worst generation defend the treatment of returning heroes. Remind them that they basically have defined themselves as Communist, drug impaired, irresponsable dolts who have wasted their lives.

Utopianists constant in search of the impossible.

One of my neighbor's sons is crazy about the '60s. Mind you, he was born in 1970! He is a shiftless sort: despite a college degree, he spends his time attending Rolling Stones concerts and works a low-level job so as not to be a part of "the establishment." He can barely spend a day away from the bong. He doesn't mind being subsidized by his CEO dad, however, who pays his son's private health-insurance premium.

BTW, I love the movie Forrest Gump. The book is quite different from the film--very dark.

I am fairly certain that this kid is too young to have experienced the genuine article. However when members of the worst generation started telling the myth of how popular they were and how greedy my generation is we knew better. The reason this lie did not work then is we were there as well. The Vietnam protestor was loathed, self centered and drug impaired. Unlike the veterans they had zero clue about anything other then themselves.

Heh. Everytime I hear the term "the establishment" I think of Dave Berg comic strips I read in old issues of Mad Magazine I read as a kid, and I was born in 1970 as well.

Don't forget Gomer Kerry tried to sell out the US and freedom to the commies in an illegal political action in Nicaragua during the Reagan administration also. When that didn't work he used the Senate to hold hearings where he tried to smear many heroes of the US and Latin America.

Commies are vile filth and need to be lined up for the Spirit of Che Guevara to collect.

Beak,
I am fairly certain that this kid is too young to have experienced the genuine article.

Once the kid told me that the '60s was a glorious time. I told him my own personal take on what it was like then. His response: "If you remember the '60s, you weren't really there."

He held his own little mini-Woodstock at the farm property which he was renting in the Shenandoah Valley. And got stuck with one helluva bill--food, electrical bills, the lot! The bills were so high that he had to move to the city. Had his parents not bailed him out, he might have had to declare bankruptcy as the members of his little commune wouldn't chip in. I was amused.

Mr. Beamish,
You and the kid born in the same year! I can just hear the exchange between the two of you now. LOL.

We have pointed out Gomer Kerry and Walter Mitty Harkin's role as Sandanista pitch men. I am amazed he was never asked a single question on this issue.

John Brown has yet to respond to questions about Sananista massacres of Indians. He has been asked several times.

John Brown Stain has yet to respond to ANY question of substance!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It must be tough to have nothing but lies to offer, poor dear!!

AOW,

I once asked my dad if he was a hippie during the 60's. His response was as deadpan as it was true:

"No, my parents were poor."

beak - well said. we recently gave some vietnam vets a welcome home after they made the trip to the wall as part of a program supported by the VA and a major airline. every vet had someone to thank them and welcome them home. not a dry eye at the airport and it was great to honor them. the left hasn't a clue.

We can call them utopians but they are responsible for millions of deaths.
They should know we blame them for those deaths.
I do.

Missing Link,
Put the blame where it belongs!

It amazing how these fake veterans, the anti-American ones, just seem to disappear after they are uncovered.

They get all kinds of press and no one seems to check out their stories. They are almost always exposed by real veterans who don't have the resources of the MSM.

John Kerry had a history of using "veterans" in his Senate races going back to his first primary run in 1984 and subsequent loss. I put up THIS POST in the run up to the 2004 elections.

Beamish, well said. elmer's bro, that's awesome! Right on, Felis and Beak! AOW, I loved Forrest Gump too. :)

Right on. Did you notice that all the long hair disappeared the moment the draft ended? Those "anti-materistic" hippies all cut their hair, graduated, and became materialistic yuppies overnight.

They're just doing it again to prove it didn't stink the first time they did it.

Great, now you're encouraging them.

More comment moderation I see. I must have missed a massive troll attack during my absence.

When I hear "the establishment," I think of a Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Squidward go on strike:

"Mr. Krabs is standing next to the concessions, planning his oppression!"

Heh.

AC

The insane antics of John Brown forced many of us to run in this mode. He placed 200plus comments on my blog in one day all repeating the same giberish. He has a blog nobody reads and has made a pest of himself.

He has also sent messages in my name threatening Elmer's kids and a blogger the Editrix. Both people know it is clearly not me. This only proves how greatly we upset the Communonazis of the far lrft.

The most enduring legacy of the '60's was the takeover of mainstream organizations (the press and the clergy particularly) to spout left-wing gospels. This has resulted in public opinion of journalists and mainstream denominations going into free-fall. Left-wingers are basically parasites. They soak up whatever money they can from mainline denominations, press rooms, foundations, and create no wealth nor worthy ideas of their own. Then when the money is gone, they go find some other host to burrow into.

Well stated RS! I was raised Episcopalian, but you won't find me attending one of their churches! They left their first calling for "social justice" and the love of G*D for hatred for anything normal, natural or patriotic!

I've not set foot in a church service in over 15 years. Walking a fine line between "do not forsake the fellowship of believers" and "do not be unequally yoked with non-believers" keeps me away. Whitewashed sepulchres and all that.
