Is my exile over ?

There is a small chance that I may be returned home to NYC to continue my career there. Long term readers know why I moved 400 miles into a foreign area. I apparently made the list of candidates for the NYC office, but the odds are very long.

Well I will hope for the best for you Beak.

What do you think of Ron Paul (Republican Candidate for President), Notion that the "Department of Homeland Security" should be dismantled?

The expected synergy did not materialize. Theoretically DHS should be able to move people around as it sees fit, but it hasn't worked out that way.

Ron Paul is Dennis Kucinich after he finds outs there really are orbital mind control lasers in the skies above us.

Yay, Beak! Hope you come home to Fun City. We need more people like you. Of course it's the same whacky place you left, only more expensive. Keep us posted.

Mr B

You said what I was thinking.

UI

It is a longshot. There are over 100 candidates for 18 spots. I will make it sooner or later.

Beaker-You forget that we were praying for you and your civil service exam? And how that turned out? Hmmmmm?
All you have to do is ask you know!

My odds are very long this time. 18/105 is not good. I am also graded as a Master's the lowest level. In one month I jump a grade.

I do not work on spouses and require two months in GA. The odds are daunting but I have made the list from over 2000 applications.

I'll keep you in my prayers Beak. God has a way with people. I just got a miraculous promotion--who's to say you won't?
