What is a Rudy Republican

I am a Rudy Republican and I never claim to be a Conservative. I am vehemently anti Communist as some liberals do not take the crimes of Communists seriously. I see Communists just as evil as Nazis. The difference is that Communists have armies of appologists in Accademia and in media. I do not find a thing funny about 100,000,000 dead shattered on some far left nutjubs god fantasies.

That being said there is no place at the table for Cold War moderates when John Kerry, Harkin and the Senator from Chapaquidic have made a career of appeasement and collaberation with domestic cCommunists.

National defense and survival trump my views on social issues. I still an pro abortion but an disgusted by partial birth abortion. I still believe in civil unions and in the basics of a safety net. There are some people who are just mentaly incapable or need help due to tragic illness. I believe government regulation of business should be simplified . I also am an advocate of tort and malpractice reform.

I do not talk about issues like insurance reform because I would put everyone to sleep. The problem is the consumer does not have enough choice and the legal requirements for insurance are ponderous. You as the consumer should have the ability to buy a policy tailored to you. Unfortunately, thanks to onerous legislation you can't and the consumer suffers from a lack of choice.

Over time I have come to see the arguments of libertarianism have some validity. I do not need a nanny state and there must be a simple balance of power by the regulatory agencies like OSHA. I want understandable enforceable but not ponderous rules.

I am a moderate and just me. What you see in my positions is a reflection of what you wish more then reality .All we can be is ourselves.

We do take it seriously, but we also know that it is it the past and that it does not affect us now. Leave the past and come and join us in the present and future. Let this lay in the past. Don’t keep repeating g the crap that you have discussed already. Stop repeating yourself so much as it dilutes what you have to say. Commie this, commie that let it go. Tell me something that you haven’t already said. I beg of you leave all this stuff in the past.

I am almost a Neo-Libertarian. I agree that Communism is an evil, but it is not unique. I see evil in the systems of government that empower a single person, or section of people at the expense of all others. Dictatorships by any name are inherently evil.

Be careful with labeling your self anything around here. “Neo-Libertarian”, this label could end with you in the Klinker. I’m almost sure that this site is being watched by the FEDS, trying to catch Americans that don’t agree with the Beak. Big Brother is always watching. The “Patriot act” is in full bloom and will be, as long as the right wing republicans are in power.

First of all I Know Communists when I see them and I use the label where it belongs. Communists are still with us an are the ultimate vermin. I use the label to describe people who preternd to be liberals. 167 is a Communist and an anti semite .147 is quite open about it. I am not here to please you or anyone else. I am me and Communism is evil in all its forms. NO I WILL NEVER LET A COMMUNIST FORGET WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.Similarly I do the same to the racial power jerks or Nazis.

I do not take your threat placed below with any degree of seriousness. It proves the desperation of those on the left. I am not intimidated by goons so go ahead. The Commie left is a criminal enterprise. You do not get free reign here and guess what the majority of Americans agree with me. Communism is evil and people who play woed game with joooo , neocon and zionist are anti semites.

As far as libertarians go I sympathise to a point. I still see the need for regulatory agencies like OSHA and the FDA. I would like these agencies to have easy understandable laws with minimal standards easily understood and enforced.

The problem with Communists is they want to usurp power and become overlords. Anarchists are the delusional idiots of the left and do not understand human nature.
Libertarianism with a recognition about the dangers of unchecked powers is valid. The idea of doing away with regulatory agencies is madness.

"Absolute power corrupts absolutely," and that old saw applies to despots of any type and to unbridled democracy.

The labels may change, but the quest for power doesn't seem to.

Repetition is good – no one reads past the first few posts anywar. Besides, reiteration helps to keep the big picture in mind.

Like I said before, a person’s priorities say a lot. I think we all can find issues to disagree with each other but the important one – facing today’s Islamist threat and dealing with our own appeasing 5th column – is so important it unites us.

A few days after 9/11 I was talking with a fellow online about the threat we face and it wasn’t until days later that we realized we’d sit on different sides of the political aisle. We laughed how we have to fight and defeat the terrorists SOB so we can go back to fighting each other over the normal things. Americans love to disagree – peacefully – and then go about their business. We fight for our freedoms to disagree and practice different religions or none at all. Some people just hate this kind of society.

Libertarians are conservatives that smoke pot.

Anarchists are for no government, Libertarians are for very small government, neo-Libertarians are for decreasing the size of government. Ideals are nice, but some action would mean more.

Mr Beamish there is some truth to that.

Jason,
I strongly agree! Unity against an ideology (radical Islam) which threatens to take down us all is the key to the survival of our civilization.

As I've said before, "Anyone who stands against Islamism is my ally"--be that individual Christian, Jew, atheist, agnostic, Democrat, Republican, etc.

And, Beak, I realize there are other threats, but I'm presently focused on Islamism. 9/11 changed my life. I respect your attempts to open eyes to other threats as well. I get a real education on these two blogs (yours and Jason's).

At least, my having a laptop enables me to be in the same room as my husband. Previous to February, I was pretty much isolated in my upstairs home-office.

Listen "boohoo", people that show signs of incipient psychological breakdown and acute paranoia, should avoid making enemies and threats.

What goes around comes around!

Now understand, I'm not Saying I would do that, granted I have computer experience going back to the ARPANET, but someone might and Beak is my friend.

What I want to know is what's a "progressive anarchist". I guess that when you're at the bottom of the septic tank, anything is progressive.

Beamish says its the same as a Mackerel Spam Caveatist, but Beamish is prone to make things sound more logical than they really are.

Weren't libertarians, or segments of them, anti-Semities? Maybe I heard that wrong, but I thought I heard that once...they're like paleocons, who are basically anti-Israel, etc.

AOW... you just described me perfectly! This laptop has allowed me to be somewhat social finally. ;)

Esther,

Libertarians are generally anbivalent to Israel, some anti-Israel, some anti-Palestinian as well.

Warren said...

Unaha-closp, is correct.

They are mostly against any kind of foreign aid so that might make some people feel that they are ant-Semitic if the conversation was about Israel.
