Random Reading and Beakernews

Few of us read Military History Quarterly. However, a recent article about Mohammad as a prototype of a revolutionary is interesting. The article does have the standard PC disclaimers.
However, it does note Mohammad use of propaganda, terrorism and use of total warfare. Those who compare Jesus to Mohammad are in serious error.

I also read a blurb from Stephen Schwartz in Intellectuals and Assassins. It appears that Trotsky was on his was to testify in front of the HUAC before his meeting with an icepick. Stalanist also ratted out Trotskyite goons who were the first people to encounter the Justice of the Smith Act. It seems actual Commie history is more interesting than the fables.

I will be working on my anual 9-11 tribute soon. I will also be on Rob and Justins radio show to discuss the event. I hope those of you will tune in. I did a small call in on Rob and Justins show.
My Jason Vorhees Yankees keep rising from the dead. My NY Giants look to be DOA before the season starts.

We look forward to having you on for the 9-11 Tribute show.

The Lions are looking pretty good thus far, some will say its just preseason, but the Lions have not won back to back preseason games since 1996!

Brady Quinn looks really good too, this guy is going to be a all pro Quarterback for years to come!

""Those who compare Jesus to Mohammad are in serious error.""

Robert Spencer's P.I.G. To Islam explains this in painstaking detail.
Understanding this simple fact is the key to fighting dhimmitude.

Do you have a link to that Military History Quarterly article.

It's precisely the subject of Islamic warfare under Muhammad that I've been kicking a blog post around in my head about.

I found it. here.

The article is in the Summer 2007 issue of MHQ. The rest of the issue is disapointing. Sadly MHQ does not dedicate itself sufficiently to anticommunism

Hey Beak, When are you going to report on the little dust up the ADL is having with Armenians in Boston?

Seems the ADL won't recognize the Armenian genocide and Abe Foxman has had meetings with the Turkish ambassador to discuss keeping the genocide out of the ADL's propaganda "No Time for Hate" that they peddle to local schools.

We know that you deny that the Ukrainian famine was an ethnic purge but I'm curious how you feel about full scale denial from the ADL of the events in Armenia.

Ducky

I have many posts on the Armenian/ Assyrian/ Greek Genocide. My position on the subject is well known.

Why would I deny a Communist crime that members of my family lived through? This is part of an odd obsession of your. I am an anti-communist and do not rationalize Commie crimes.

Beak,
Those who compare Jesus to Mohammad are in serious error.

Well, there's an understatement!

I'll likely miss Rob and Justin's 9/11 tribute. Mr. AOW and I will be en route to home from Warren's place.

But you are more than welcome to call into my radio show on 9/7. WC and I will be interviewing Mr. Beamish at the bottom of the hour that day.

BTW, tomorrow (Tuesday, August 20), Pamela will be interviewing Robert Spencer on her radio show; he has published a new book. I believe that it starts at noon, EDT.

Beak,
Will you be back in NY by September 11th?

I have no idea what to do for the next anniversary of the attacks. I didn't have a blog last year. Don't know where to start. Its still very emotional for me.

I will be back on Labor Day.

The MHQ article on Muhammad could have been more elaborate. Crediting him with bringing combined arms tactics to the Arab peninsula is a stretch.
