Rare Post Beakerkin Admits He is Wrong

I want to say that in retrospect the selection of Palin is a stroke of genius. I really wanted to see JC Watts, Ridge or Jindal, but the base is energized. Most importantly the left has been revealed as hateful and the over the top reaction he cost Obama in the polls.

While Joe Biden adds nothing to an Obama ticket except mediocrity, Palin brings energy.

McCain will draw crowds speaking in one city, while Palin while draw crowds speaking in another.

Obama will draw crowds speaking in one city, and Biden will be in another city barfing up a shot of vodka on a small crowd in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Ducky,

Meanwhile back here on Earth, there's already speculation that Joe Biden will soon drop out of the race (law school, 1988 primaries, 2008 primaries - Biden historically folds when it gets tough) and Hillary Clinton will be brought in to save Obama's failing candidacy.

I don't know if Biden's momma is still around to dust him off and send him back off to fight, but I doubt even she will break the insurmountable odds against Obama and Biden being the first leftsits in history to present a rational thought.

Mr. B.-I think one of bin biden's handlers realized that Sarah Palin will eat his lunch, either on issues, or if biden pulls the "little woman" canard...hey, after all, obama said it during a canned speech.
hitlery will be the better candidate to face Gov. Palin.

Beamish, here's what you support:

Eight years ago, complaints about charging rape victims for medical exams in Wasilla prompted the Alaska Legislature to pass a bill -- signed into law by Knowles -- that banned the practice statewide.

"There was one town in Alaska that was charging victims for this, and that was Wasilla," Knowles said

A May 23, 2000, article in Wasilla's newspaper, The Frontiersman, noted that Alaska State Troopers and most municipal police agencies regularly pay for such exams, which cost between $300 and $1,200 apiece.

"(But) the Wasilla police department does charge the victims of sexual assault for the tests," the newspaper reported.

It also quoted Wasilla Police Chief Charlie Fannon objecting to the law. Fannon was appointed to his position by Palin after her dismissal of the previous police chief. He said it would cost Wasilla $5,000 to $14,000 a year if the city had to foot the bill for rape exams.

That's right, a woman at her absolutely most vulnerable and Caribou Barbie has to have an insurance form before the police can administer a rape kit.

There are days when I think that the far right filth among us can't go any lower and then you serve up a knuckle dragger like Sarah Palin.

Even Joe Biden has stated that not selecting Hillary Clinton might have been a mistake for Obama.
You should take a look at the cover of the Huffington Post. They are trying to claim that Palin is in favor of invading Russia over Georgia.
Also, Charles Gibson interview with the governor was nothing more than an attempt to trap Palin into fodder for the Obama camp.

Ducky,

As I tell all leftists, if you want to have a serious, honest discussion about American politics, you're first going to have to give up the absurdly ridiculous and indefensible view that you're not a fucking moron.
