Flynn's A Conservative History of The American Left

I had read the roots of eugenics before in prior works of Flynn. Eugenics was another
really bad idea from the far left. It is important to note that Margaret Sanger did meet with the Klan. Communist fraud WEB Dubois was also in favor of this scam.

Eugenics fell into deserved disrepute with the advent of the Holocaust. Prior to that it was just another failed idea of the left. Of course there was a semi official junk science rationale that evolved into mass murder.

Science without morality can be quite deadly. The usual suspects appoint themselves God
and mankind must look out.

Hmmm, Sanger was funded by J. D. Rockefeller and the earlier social Darwinists. How did they become Liberals?

Beak, stop making a fool of yourself.

We had quite the eugenics scandal here in Virginia in the last century. Google search "joseph dejarnette" for more info.

Also, see this poem and its larger context on this web page.

Steve recently posted a few pictures of DeJarnette Asylum. The rumor is that the asylum and the mental hospital are haunted. They are quite the place to go on Halloween.

When I was growing up, we children talked a lot about Dejarnette Asylam, something like its being a boogie man. Many retarded children and adults were sterilized there.

AOW's post above pretty much says what I was going to say here. Dejarnette was just another crackpot who believed in Eugenics and helped provide even more nonsense to the "science" they call "psychology." Hundreds, if not thousands of mentally retarded children, were systematically sterilzed at the DeJarnette facility in Staunton. I live a matter of minutes from the old asylum.

Duck, you're right, Sanger was indeed funded by JD Rockefeller, but he himself was a liberal much like Sanger herself - the founder of Planned Parenthood aka another libtard excuse for committing mass sterilizations and abortions.

That doesn't sound real "Republican" to me, but don't forget, there were also plenty of Liberals who pretended they were Republicans back in the early 20th Century.

Initially Sanger was concerned about birth control (which I assume you oppose) and had nothing to do with abortion.

She herself, although not the entire movement, was legitimately concerned with the situation of women (her mother endured 14 pregnancies of which several miscarried or died shortly after delivery) and she never intended that anything be forced. Her intent was that the birth control always be voluntary.
