Too Many Candidates

It looks like Romney unless a few candidates drop out. I can live with a Romney Presidency but no matter who the GOP picks the Obama media machine will stop at nothing to ensure his re-election.

Lost in the mix with the USA and Canada producing more energy is the increasing irrelevancy of Hugo the dying cocanut. Arabs may have had their moment in the sun overplayed their hands and can only get the new competitors out by lowering prices. The goal on the left is to save Chavez and the thug regime by environmental obstructionism.

Yeah, Romney will probably get the nod.

If he does, I look for Ron Paul to start a third party. There are just enough voters to side with Paul and thus put Obama back into the Oval Office.

No AOW, Paul won't get any GOP votes, for the simple fact no real Republican is going to vote for the Booger-Eating asshat. Certainly not in any appreciable numbers. Most of his support in the GOP are people that would never vote for anybody but him anyway. He would probably help the GOP if he did run on a third party ticket, for the simple fact some of his idiot ass-sniffing supporters would be more likely to vote Democrat than Republican if he wasn't running, though most of them would either vote Libertarian, or not at all. Let the little cocksucker run.

I concur AOW. The Conservative - Libertarian - Republican anti-Obamas can easily snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Once Romney gets the nod, the media will try to make the Chainsaw Massacre look like child's play compared to what they do to him. At the same time, their teams will be whitewashing the Obama image like there is no tomorrow.

I wonder if Romney is malleable enough to have Ron Paul be his running mate, and tone deaf enough to give it a try?

Beamish-

RAND Paul maybe. That might be a way of getting the Paultard vote without having to adopt Paul's more odious policies. If we could tap into that vote without driving mainstream GOP votes away, Obama would be crushed, and it would herald landslide victories for the GOP in all the down ticket races as well.

Pagan makes an excellent point about Rand Paul, who would never allow his father to do a third party thing and ruin Rand's chances for his career...

"herald victories for the GOP.." be still, my silly heart.
tho I'm not SO happy with the GOP right now, I must admit..
