US out of NATO

There is no longer a need for the United States to subsidize the defense of Europe. The alliance should be ended and the facilities closed and the troops returned home. The USA should decide bilateral defense treaties with nations on an individual basis.

Please describe the logistics of massing troops in Kuwait without the German bases.

It's not that I don't think you think things through, Beak. It's just that you are a right winger and therefore don't think things through.

Agreed. I would take it further than that. Repeal Posse Comitatus and station all returned troops on the border and at ports and maybe even airports. Although if I had my way, all non-essential air traffic in and out of the US would be halted as well, so that would almost be unnecessary.

The UN complex would make a great business complex, or maybe subsidized housing for the homeless and/or elderly, or the world's largest crack house. Anything would be better than what it is now.

“I strongly oppose American participation in any form of world government organization, including any world court.’

“As President I will terminate United States membership in the United Nations, and its subsidiary organizations, and terminate U.S. participation in all so-called U.N. peace keeping operations and I would bar the United Nations, and its subsidiaries, from further operation, including raising of funds, on United States territory.’

“American troops must serve only under American commanders, and as long as I am President American forces will never serve under the flag of the United Nations or any foreign country.”

“President Reagan said, ‘A nation without borders is no nation at all.’ He was right, of course, and now the globalists are seeking to erase our borders and merge the United States into a North American Union with Canada and Mexico that would be the end of the United States as a sovereign nation and would be a stepping stone toward the merger of the United States into a World Government dominated by the United Nations.’

“As President, I would take the preservation of our nation’s sovereignty and independence extremely seriously. This means that the burgeoning North American Union is dead on arrival the day I am sworn in as President. Upon taking office I would request that Dr. Jerome Corsi, the foremost expert on the danger posed by the North American Union, accept a special assignment to ensure that every single “working group” and any other bureaucratic remnant of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (under whatever name) be completely eliminated from every Federal agency so that this danger is put to rest for good.’

“Gone, too, is the NAFTA superhighway. And for that matter, I would lead the United States out of NAFTA and CAFTA altogether. And any prospect for the FTAA would be dead as well.’

“I oppose all international trade agreements which have the effect of diminishing America’s economic self-sufficiency and of exporting jobs, the loss of which impoverishes American families, undermines American communities, and diminishes America’s capacity for economic self-reliance, and the provision of national defense.’

“We see our country and its workers as much more than bargaining chips for multinational corporations and international banks in their ill-conceived and evil New World Order. At every turn I will stand up for the economic security and well being of the American people and for the independence and sovereignty of our American republic.’

~ Chuck Baldwin

Hrmph. I can't see a thing wrong with any of the above initiatives.

Can you?

Steve-

The only problem is, your candidate doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. That is not a criticism of you or your support of him, by the way, so please don't take it that way. I hope he does well, actually, I just can't see as he has much of a chance to make much of a dent.

It's a shame really, because going by what little bit I know about him, he seems like he is more in line with the founder's original intent than any other candidate or their worthless criminal enterprises commonly known as political parties.

In fact, that would have to be my main and, until I know more about him, my only criticism of him as of now-the fact that the Constitution Party is a political party, and is therefore by definition just another criminal conspiracy.

But, carry on. FYI I might well vote for him.

I disagree Beak.

Europeans are savages, barely civilized enough to accept that someone under a hundred miles away might speak a different language.

All of them, tribal throwbacks.

And there's not one span of 20 years of European history from Phillip of Macedonia to today where European barbarians sucessfully resisted the urge to go to war with each other. They make freakin' Africa look like a continent of pacifists.

We can talk about Western Civilization. We can talk about Europe.

We can't talk about both at the same time.

Next, there will be a campaign against UFO landing strips.

PT-Posse Comitatus DOES NOT INCLUDE; borders, or areas of public access...such as airports and ports.
You don't have to repeal it, all it does is prevent our military from being used AGAINST THEIR FELLOW CITIZENS!
So that things that the redcoats did during the Revolutionary War and the War of Northern Aggression(such as troops being forced into peoples homes to live)doesn't happen again.
It just provides protection for citizens against a jackbooted takeover.
Borders are not peoples homes AND are an area of FEDERAL INTEREST.
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Leave posse comitatus alone, it seperates Americans from the rest of the world!

Merry Widow-

That might have been the original intent, but unfortunately, nobody pays any attention to original intent when it isn't convenient. If they did, gun control would never be considered an option under any circumstances by any but a very, very, very few extremists that would amount to less than two percent of the population at the very most at any time.

So, what do the gun control advocates do? Do they pay any attention to the original intent of the Second Amendment? No, of course not, instead, they try to play word games with phrases like well-regulated militia to try and "prove" that ordinary private citizens were never meant to have access to firearms.

Posse Comitatus was never a part of the original constitution anyway, that didn't come along until much later. If they can jack around with the Second Amendment, and other parts of the Bill of Rights and Constitution, how much easier is it to jack around with things that were never originally a part of it?

If that's what it takes to settle it once and for all, repeal the damn thing.

Unfortunately, the Constitution is in grave danger, it is mostly a "piece of paper" to be waved by politicians to gain office, then is reduced to toilet paper when they get into office...and activist judges have usurped the original intent, by grabbing the legislative branches law MAKING function, instead of focusing on their original purpose of law ENFORCING.
Stock up on ammo, it may soon be in short supply, just before they break the Second Amendment for good.

I completely agree with you. The stakes are incredibly low he'd make it, but might as well support him now rather than later.

Oh, but wait, we have to support McCain so that Obama won't get elected, so we'd best do what we're told, keep quiet, and just vote.

At least that's what we're being told by the media to do. This is why there's no mention of Chuck Baldwin or the Constitution Party.

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real? Meek and obedient, you follow the leader,
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.

What a surprise!

A look of terminal shock in your eyes, now things are really what they seem...No, this is no bad dream.

For once I have to agree with Roger Waters. That's a portion of the lyrics to Sheep by Pink Floyd. They screwed up with the title.

Instead of Sheep, it should've been Sheeple.

I take it you think the formation of a North American Union is fictitious?
