Not Funny

I want to point out that those of you who think Renegade Eye is a benign enlightened Commie should think again. Renegade Eye claimed that starvation under Communism was limited to Pol Pot on Sonia's blog. Reluctantly, he added Mao and Stalin did this as well. He is now claiming there was no starvation in the Russia prior to Stalin. Moreover, he ommits plenty of examples of past and present use of starvation as a weapon by communists.

When does such knowingly false statements rise to genocide denial ?

Commies like to talk about helping the poor and try to control the language. Once in power they use food as a weapon and resort to brutality. It is our shame that we allow such appologists to feign noble motives. When you are dealing with a commie you are dealing with a elitist totalitarion pseudo religious brain impaired communist goon.

Oddly Commies often point their fingers at Christians who feed the poor and provide genuine medical and educational care for the indigent. Commies claim this is a good thing when done by Hezbollah to ignore their terrorism and drug dealing.

How is it that Christians if left alone will take care of the poor without class genocide and corrupt
power schemes? Any pretense of commies helping the "people" is a lie unless the help is to avoid aging or to die prematurely.

Huh?

Commies like to talk about helping the poor and try to control the language.

Language shapes thinking. Control of the language is a way of maintaining control over the people.

As Christians, we are commanded to take care of the poor and to minister to the aging and the sick. Communists see these types of people as liabilities to society and, thus, want them out of the way of "progress." In effect, Communists are eugenicists.

Unlike you, I am not certain that Ren actually knows about Communist crimes under Lenin and Trotsky. Those crimes are far less known in the West than Stalin's crimes.

Few people outside Russia have heard of this event, for example:

The Tambov Rebellion of 1919–1921 was one of the largest and well organized peasant rebellions against the Bolshevik regime during the Russian Civil War. The uprising took place in the territories of the modern Tambov Oblast and a part of Voronezh Oblast, less than 300 miles southeast of Moscow. One of rebellion leaders was a former official of the Socialist-Revolutionary Party, Alexander Antonov, and therefore in Soviet history it was named the Antonovschina.

The rebellion was caused by the forceful confiscation of grain by the Bolshevik authorities (policy known as prodrazvyorstka). In 1920 the requisitions were increased from 18 million to 27 million poods in the region, whereas peasants reduced the grain production knowing that anything they did not consume themselves will be immediately confiscated. To fill the state quotas meant a death by starvation.

Tukhachevsky and Vladimir Antonov-Ovseenko signed an order, dated June 12 1921, that stipulated: "The forests where the bandits are hiding are to be cleared by the use of poison gas. This must be carefully calculated, so that the layer of gas penetrates the forests and kills everyone hiding there." Chemical weapons were used "from end of June 1921 until apparently the fall of 1921", by direct order from leadership of Red Army and Communist party. Publications in local Communist newspapers openly glorified liquidations of "bandits" with the poison gas.

Seven Concentration camps were set up. At least 50,000 people were interned, mostly women, children, and elderly, some of them were sent there as hostages. The mortality rate in the camps was 15-20 percent a month.

Great stuff! Of course communism doesn't work, it never has and it never will. It goes against human nature; people have different appetites, motivations, dreams and abilities.

As the PW's saying goes: "Communism has only killed 100 million people, let's give it another chance!"

Venezuela is moving very quickly towards full communism. Western oil industry investment will simply dry up.

All this nationalization will put many people out of work. Central planning does not work. Market forces of supply and demand do.

When laws of property rights are non-existent or un-enforced, society will deteriorate, or at best stagnate.

Communes can work, but not communism, which must be forced. Whether or not it is called fascism is not the point, it still by design must be a totalitarian state.

Extreme socialism will kill a country eventually too, if it is allowed to spiral out of control for too long.

Already, the farms that Chavez allowed to be stolen are being run into the ground by the 'worker owners', just like in Zimbabwe.

The health care system in Cuba is a very sick joke, and Canada's is much worse than it was before 'national health care' was implemented.
In China, a billion people live in abject poverty, and they also have to pay huge fees just to go to public high school.

In North Korea there are huge food shortages, practically no electricity, and a massive homeless problem, with tons of people sleeping on the sidewalks without shoes on or even a blanket or a piece of cardboard to lie on; I've seen videos secretly filmed and smuggled out of the country.

Communism tries to appeal to greed and class envy, and the desire to get stuff for free.

Capitalism, with clear and strong property rights, rights to unionize and strong laws against corruption and fraud, is the only way to go.

Obviously, the capitalist countries have many problems and injustices, but they pale in comparison to the miseries inherent in any communist country that has ever existed.

property rights -
people's rights to own it
and control it

not the state's to steal it
and give to someone else

absurd thought -
God of the Universe thinks
communism is NO scam

equality of despair
except for party elites

absurd thought -
God of the Universe thinks
communism is GREAT

excellent way to destroy
countries for generations

More Communism Stuff...

More people died of starvation in Capitalist India than Communist China (especially when the brits were in control). That doesn't make Mao great, but certainly it shouldn't be left out of the discussion.

The deaths in India had zero to do with Capitalism. In fact the further India moves away from socialism the less it has to deal with starvation.

Communism has a fatal in that it has never managed to run anything with any efficiency. The system itself produces the famines. However, the true faithful never question the system itself. They blame these repeated disasters on the implemetors Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and so forth.

There is no secret to helping the poor as Churches do it every day.
Self reliance, combined with solid family structures and respect for authorities lift people out of poverty.

The mistake you make is that the presence of inequality does not justify radical policies that make the suffering worse. No doubt if you were a capitalist we could debate the specifics of saftey nets and learned dependence.

However, as you go through life fall in love and build a family you will likely see the error of your assumptions. Many of us search for meaning in our lives. No doubt you seek the answers to life's meaning in radicalism. Ultimately radicalism is a failure
as its true face is authoritarian.

Those who are religious in a Christian sense have a more localized approach. They aim to build communities and lives via local efforts. They understand utopia is a concept for the next world and not this one.

Like you I am not religious. I find the meaning of my life in my vocation serving the American people each and every day. I have no desire or aspiration to change the world. My aspiration is to use prudent judgement in the interest of serving the public.

I am not a religious man, but I respect and envy those who feel a nobility of purpose. I will always remember the coworker who was a walking disaster held together with duct tape helped by her church. I doubt that family could function without the efforts of the church. The problems were not financial either, yet they were daunting.

I like Renegade Eye's blog. It's a great place for anti-Semitic leftist twits who "search the internet looking for a fight" to come get their blocks knocked off by a right-winger.

Oh how they cry.

Denying the mass murdering regimes of Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, Mao Zedong, Stalin, gee, these folks sound like what neo-Nazis would sound when denying that Hitler killed Jews and other "inferiors".

And also btw, it certainly seems that Venezuela under Hugo Chavez has found some "traitors" to purge for the Red Venezuelan Revolution just like how other Communist-inspired revolutions purged its membership as shown in the devestating "Cultural Revolution" with Mao Zedong's "Great Leap Foward". More like a Great Leap Backward.

I did social work for over 9 years with the American "poor".

What I found out was that most of them weren't poor at all. In fact, many had more disposable income and a higher standard of living than I.

Ah, to live in a country where the largest health problem of the "poor" is obesity.
