The paranoid left seem to think that the raid into Syria is some sort of an October surprise. The apartheid Syrian regime, run by a corrupt Baathist/Marxist regime has been living on borrowed time for years. The only thing saving it has been the US and Israel are reluctant to take direct action due to the salonista EU faction.
Syria is a rouge regime that has supported terrorism. It is amazing that this type of action was rather limited and came so late in the war.

To have involved and endangered live special forces operators instead of remote drones means something big and critical just happened.
The left is always looking for an October surprise.
Back in 2004, the October surprise mentioned was the release of information that OBL had been captured. Clearly, that little surprise never occurred.
What I am concerned about now, however, is that the Dems will use this story about Syria to show that a Republican administration will "get us into another war."
Oh, and let's not forget Pelosi's love of Syria.
Meh, we just went in there and killed some Islamists. Any kids killed are just collateral damage and helps ensure a lesser amount of Muslim wackjobs in the future.
