New photos in the office

I have decided to place a photo of Wally Cox in my office. As a young child watching the Hollywood Squares he was a funny man who sounded like Underdog. Over the years I have grown to appreciate his subtle brand of humor. He was typecast and it is fun watching him turn up in strange places like Lost In Space, Bonanza and Mission Impossible.

I found two episodes of Hiram Holliday on the Web. Unfortunately, they only made 23 episodes of that show. Maybe someone will get all of his work together in a DVD collection including Mr. Peepers.

When do you dip into your stash of Troma films?

I place classic movies up. I leave lower forms elsewhere. I may even put
a picture of Paul Lynde up because he was funny.

Most of the 60's stars are passing and they left such good entertainment
for all.

Wally Cox? I haven't thought about him in years!

Wasn't he a regular on Hollywood Squares?

He died very young.

Yes Wally Cox died almost 40 years ago and way too young. It was the first time my father had to explain death to me.

I grew up in a house with older kids so at a very young about 4 I thought he would change into Underdog on the set of the Hollywood Squares.

It would be nice if TV Land could honor him with a Marathon. He was on Mission Impossible, Bonanza and Lost in Space. He had his own show Mr Peepers and Hiram Holiday.

I did find a Mr. Peepers photo but
I was hoping for something better,
