Who cares????

I do not watch Duck dynasty or plan to do so in the future. The comments were odious, but our First Amendment covers odious views. Gays should be upset with hypocrites who hold up this section of scripture and ignore all others. If we threw rocks at adulterers and people who masturbate we would run out of rocks quickly.

That being said Gays do a great job just being themselves and need to stop caring what low IQ types think. I doubt one persons views were changed by this drivel and if anything drawing attention to these stupid ramblings is pointless.

All of us need to just be ourselves and live comfortably in our own shoes. When I get my pile of rocks it will be for Commies who just don't get the concept of private property and are prone to treason.

This has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment.

This was an action in the private sector.

I wish you fringe right wing loons would learn that before you start making fools of yourself displaying your ignorance while pretending to be Constitutional scholars.

Don't be a dick like Mark Levin.

Hope you come on board when those fed up with Marxists abusing their positions in higher ed get their funding cut. Unlike the Marxists who abuse their positions on the public dole this was a private expression of repugnant speech.

Phil Robertson also said the following during the GQ interview:

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

I don't watch Duck Dynasty. But from what I know about the show, could we really expect any other kind of comment from Robertson? Furthermore, a friend who does watch the show told me yesterday, "The Robertsons always pray in the name of Jesus before they begin to eat any meal." Should we be surprised that a family in the Louisiana backwater would not be tolerant of homosexuality or politically correct?

The entire controversy over Robertson's comments is a tempest in a teapot. Gays can be infuriated as that is their right. Again, so what?

I read now that A&E has backed off -- as has Cracker Barrel, which has restored to the general store all the Duck Dynasty doodads, t-shirts, and caps.
