It really isn't as much fun to blog when you are kind of with the President than opposed. I am still not on board the Trump express. However, these are stylish differences rather than wholesale issues.

Still here

I am resting due to a leg infection. My first bout with Cipro and it really does not agree with me. I did talk with AOW off line.

It is harder for me to go to work and see all of my peers gone. The conditions at work are deplorable and none of this has a thing to do with Trump. It is the direct consequence of the garbage generations obtuse values. I had my first and only unfriendly conversation with the outgoing director. I know what a sweatshop is and I have been there first hand. The difference between this place and a sweatshop is sweatshops are well run.

I am not a Trump fan but even produce and lab rats are better than Obama. He will go down as the poster child for social promotion

Shipped out

After an eleven year run in NYC I have been shifted to Queens. My move was one of the few done at the top levels. I like the mix of people in Queens better. The Queens office is very happy to welcome my team. Out of four members three are confirmed. I am working on the last one. Out of the ten best officers in my area they received four including two from my team.

Eleven years is a nice run. I leave with a mix of familiar faces. Usually this is a solitary journey but I am going with my team largely in tact and some neighbors. This is the first time I will be separated from the vegan in my stay.

I arrive in Queens a highly celebrated officer. My top boss used to be my first line. Sadly I will literally be replacing one of my students who was shifted to Brooklyn. I will try and get the final member of my team a spot in Queens.

Oddly I was supposed to go last year. A former boss said we kept your office now go build a new team. I loved the old
Team as it was a great veteran ensemble. Now I have a less experienced crew and a different role. I am more of a leader and teacher and the other crew was an ensemble with a promising star. I rose to the challenge that many friends didn't understand. After my team was destroyed by an error I returned at my choosing and built a good one. The people responsible for the destruction of my old team have apologized. My anger at one hasn't abated and the record of this person speaks louder than I can.

I stopped teaching anyone off my team. I make exceptions for a former boss. I refused to teach classes and stated let the flunky do it. She failed miserably and the new officers are a mixed bag. The bosses conceded it was an egregious error but I refused similar offers. My response was you made your choice now live with the consequences. This move will allow me to resume my career without anger. My current boss is a wonderful pleasure to work with. She is amazed
that the anger has not lessened. However,she also kicked this person out at the first opportunity. Does not work well with others or follow directions has become obvious.

Dawn

The reality is officer Beakerkin is not the same person as Beakerkin.We are in unknown waters and they are scary indeed. What is going to happen, I don't know. The curse of Beakerkin is that as an independent I am trusted for that quality. I apply the laws with fairness and deference to procedures and equity. There are times when I am less fair, but serious criminality or national security dictate those rare situations.

I was not a fan of Obamas turning my agency into a sweat shop. The new era is upon us and I am appalled by some of my peers who reinvent themselves every time the wind blows differently. I announced there will be no additional students
But I will do limited training upon request from managers who have good relationship with me. I will continue to support all people I have mentored. The reason for this change is entirely personal. Management has tried to make peace, but I told them forget it. I still am dedicated, just no more training.

I am still committed to fairness. I didn't think a law was applied properly and ran it past my boss who was less charitable than I about the error. The court kicked it to us for another look. My reaction was a tepid we got this wrong double check. The error was discovered while doing a denovo review. After the correction the judges have leeway
to offer a more permanent remedy.

Until the law changes I work the same.

RIP Mr Breslin

I briefly met Jimmy Breslin. I considered myself lucky enough to have met The late Kelly his daughter. I never met a woman who loved her father more. Kelly was right about many things, just not quite in the way she intended. I did waste too much time at work. Yet for me it was with the love of family not mindless parties and events that had no meaning for me.

In the short encounters I think his greatest wish was to be remembered as a newspaper man. Perhaps he was the apex of what is a dying breed as newspapers die. In the short attention span world perhaps there is no room for his unique talents. While every single one of the tributes got the complex larger than life man correct. Breslin would likely admit that a great writer first captures your attention first. Much of the persona was marketing, but how much is subject to debate of those who knew him better than I.

I hope he is with his daughters in the afterlife

Are we better in a world where the great newspapers and the people that made them a part of our lives slowly become extinct? I don't think so

Lefties are stupid

The demonstration outside my office shows how dumb lefties are. A women's march with Palestinian flags with gays, black lives matter at your immigration office. Making a society that routinely lynches its citizens, legally abuses gays and treat females like livestock a cause is absurd. Palestine has zero to do with immigration issues and activists are practicing an odious form of taking advantage of semi illiterate immigrants.

I contrast this with focused and peaceful TEA Party protests.

Bravo Trump

The pot smoking circus clown previous President has led an unprecedented policy of benign neglect for ICE. ICE has a job to do and despite the idiotic press. Immigration is subject to a series of laws passed by congress with judicial review. Public safety is the job of the President and the executive order is consistent with Presidential authority, unlike DACA that violates the Constitution.

One hears the familiar sob stories. One does not ever hear from the people or who followed the law. I am tired of lefties thinking immigration is a right. It is an honor conveyed by the American people and governed by following procedures res and obeying laws. Public safety is non negotiable historically in immigration matters.

Not a fani

I am a harsh critic of the use of executive orders to conduct immigration policy. I am a critic of Obama and I am critical of Trump. I do concede that unlike Obama, Trump is motivated by public safety. As far as the left is concerned, do not blame Trump for intelligently abusing authority exactly like Obama did.

The Muslim community needs to blame itself and the far left need to stop rationalizing terror. That being said I don't like authoritarianism

On his way out the door, the clown President behaved like a child. He pardons an unrepentant terrorist. If you don't believe lefties are mentally disturbed look at the reaction of Bill Dibozo to a man who bombed NYC and was involved with a group that bombed NYPD HQ. The President commuted the sentence of a transsexual traitor who gave away secrets.
He sticks it to Cuban Americans and Jews with last minute moves.

I can tell you that those Jews who supported Obama are in for a lifetime of ridicule. The clock wound down and people like Nadler and so called Rabbi Rick Jacobs are deserving of scorn. Note to Booker who had a decent relationship with the Jewish community. Your vote on the Iran deal killed any good work. You will not get any credit for past actions. No amount of verbiage explains that vote. He will run against Trump and would be an improvement over Obama.

NYC residents have a different perspective on life. I was disappointed that the content was so mild by our standards. Golden Showers and prostitution are not big deals here. In hypocritical Hollywood those practices are likely as common as owning a sports car.

Dear Proctor and Gamble

My 13 year old daughter keeps stealing my body wash and deodorant. She claims that moms female products don't work as good. Now I have seen several girlfriends steal my Gillette razors and oddly my Old Spice shaving cream. However, it is a royal pain when the females in my home take my man soaps. Perhaps you can raise the quality of the stuff marketed to women. How about it's okay to love dad now step away from his man products. There is something wrong when a man can't enjoy a body wash and a shave without some female relative taking his products. No I simply refuse to use anything less than the PRoctor and Gamble products. Someone slipped my Axe and I kept scratching and felt unclean all day

Note to networks from the middle America. It's okay to have a likable well rounded liberal like Charles Kuralt. How would anyone viewers respond to class and respect for the audience. Instead of all hard news why not a short on the arts to make news fun again.

RIP Debbie Reynolds

The first thing I thought of when Carrie Fisher had a heart attack was her mother was still with us. Sadly it wasn't for very long.
Her final words were those of a parent. I do hope she got that wish. I ponder when we had a more serious similar situation and did not tell my grandmother her brother dieD. At that point she had not left home for yearns. This option was not likely realistic for the Reynolds family.

I don't know how Debbie Reynolds would feel about mother being listed before her other accomplishment

The left is quite unhinged by the election of Trump. Some of the verbiage is just absurd even by their low standards. He is going to build concentration camps for Muslims. He is going to sick the IRS on his political enemies, Obama did that. He is going to piss off our enemies. This is opposed to pissing off our allies like Israel and the U.K. After watching years of boorish behavior by Obama the left should give it a rest.

Burning objects is not free speech. However, those upset about lefties burning the flag ahould feel free to burn the Palestinian flag and toss pictures of Obama on the fire and see how they like it.
