Candidates For The Beakerkin Office Wall

Every three months or so I add a celebrity picture to the wall in my office. Currently, there is a Telly Savalas picture and one of Dennis Weaver. I will place ten candidates on the list and you can vote who will be the next person on the wall

1) John Wayne. I already have a book with his likeness prominently exhibited.
2) Clint Eastwood
3) Jack Klugman
4) Gary Coleman
5) Lee Marvin
6) Derek Jeter
7) Raquel Welch
8) Charlton Heston
9) Eli Walach
10) Deborah Harry

I am leaning to placing up a picture of John Wayne from the Searchers. If I were to place one of Eastwood it would be Dirty Harry.

I cast my vote for Wayne.

Raquel Welch. Actually, she said something quite intelligent lately.

Debra Harry, gets my vote. My favorite song is Heart of Glass. She is the only blond besides the cute as a bug Taylor swift that I like....there is one more, but I'm having a senior moment.

Debra Harry/or Clint Eastwood, love his squinty eyes and rugged features! Don't like Wayne, but its your wall.

My walls are full of Indians paintings, prints, Doll/Cradles, and Comanche events posters and above my computor, all my Grandkids looking at me surrounding a wooden plaque with praying hands saying God is only a prayer away!

I need more walls.

Pretty slim list. Wayne, but please take a look at "Stagecoach", "Red River", "Fort Apache" and some of the other earlier films.

Beak since you consider well known white supremacist and tertiary syphilis victim Yeagley a friend, brilliant man and true patriot I wonder why you don't choose him.

Actually, Yeagley is no friend of mine. I have not been there in some time. Whatever ails him no doubt is a mental affliction. While he rails about who knows what he is not beholden to a Mendicant philosopher whose idiotic nostrums you slavishly consider gospel. In your case you should remember the wisdom of a rabbi who loved around 2000 years ago about casting stones.

Travolta is unlikely to make the wall.

In the old office there was actually a photo of Beakerambo in the cube.

What about a picture of "Bad Eagle". Assuming there really was such a person, of course.

I would sooner place up a picture of a member of my family such as my grandfather or my uncle the Holocuast survivors in their Polish army uniforms circa 1920. Or a picture of my beloved grandmother shortly after she emigrated.

I do not need to reach into other families for Bad Eagle type of heroic figures. Oddly maybe someday some relative will put my picture on the wall. We do not think of our deeds as colorful and our lives as interesting .

Of course I do have a picture of the Tranquil Sea and the Beloved Sprite.

Is that from the man who ordered Duckie to give Yeagley a rest?

On Memorial Day it is a time to honor war heroes. Each of us have our own Bad Eagles in our own family
tree.

Many of us will become Bad Eagle type of models for others.
