Maybe Never

I want to point out I am a NYC type and for me in my heart I live in post racial America. The man down the block is just that and it is my reality. The idea that any American is less than equal is foreign to the readers of this site.

I am having a hard time accepting the reality of the illogical of proclaiming one's self a patriot without getting that Blacks are American too. How does one proclaim patriotism, but miss that concept. Once again the Bad Eagle's Eva Braun addresses me as a foreigner.

In the eyes of Dr's quote number one fan "the Jew is foreign". Sorry but my family has been here for three generations.

When I talk of post racial America, I talk of the day where we embody the true ideals of Americanism. For many this was the promise of Obama. Of course Obama himself is more of a symbol than a person. His policies are dreadful, his judgment poor and his ego makes Clintons look normal.Maybe the dream will be filled when we can say his ideas stink and everyone focuses on the idea.

Perhaps it is naive to think post racial America will ever be a real place. Yet I know in the heart of my readers from Junglemom to AOW it is our mindset. We have the big table of equals in our hearts allready even before the Obama myth of a nation in need of healing was being bandied.

I look at Yeagley and he is the White supremacists dream. They get an Indian affirming their hatred of blacks in a proAmerica way. Of course Yeagley will correctly point out he never submitted these articles to racist sites. However, as a man of words he must understand his myth is larger than himself. The Obama being criticized in racial terms posts are something I can not defend. Of course even as I disagree on policy with Obama, our critique must be true to our American vision of the big table.

I recently found myself accused of racism a while back. I had a nonromantic friendship with a Black West Indian woman. I really was not looking for love when Sunbeam entered my life. Many did not understand the deep love in my heart proceeded our relationship. She was always the nuturing woman of my dreams. She was and remains very beautiful but there were many beautiful women but I was drawn to her. There was a magic I never forgot when our eyes would meet.

I found my love of Sunbeam criticized by many. For them we were two Jews and my choice was racial. I tried to convey us growing up together and the yearning in my heart. I never forgot her over the years. When she got divorced she looked for me, but I was adventuring in Vermont.
She and I exchanged emails and a few phone calls before we met. The electricity was in the air before we met. We were walking like lovers in less than five minutes of our first date.

At work I had a whale of a time explaining my changes. I had dated but was aloof and not looking
for love. They saw me change in weeks, but did not understand how it happened quickly. In reality Sunbeam and I knew each other for 35 years. We grew up together, but I walked another
path and she remained in the community.

I guess my coworkers expect love to be logical and rational like my vision of the big table. The big table form of Americanism is at the center of my soul. My vision of the society is different from my the yearnings in my heart as a person matter.

Maybe post racial America is as real as Utopia as some will always cling to hatred. Maybe there is a flip side to my belief that all is rational and logical. Maybe I have to accept that as humans there are things we cant convey and to expect logic and reason from some even myself is itself illogical.

Can I explain how people hold hatred in their heart and do not grasp the concept of the big table even as they imagine themselves patriots. Can I explain a deep love that bloomed in minutes to people who see my personal choice as racist and crazy. Do we need to accept that on some level
many of are irrational.

I remeber explaining to the West Indian friend the two times in my life I fell in love in seconds. She is a thirty something person who is materialistic and cynical about love claiming she never felt it. Oddly, Sunbeam said the same thing until over a year ago. I remeber being in college at a memorial service for a girlwholived up the block. Even though she lived up the block we never interacted as she was very religious and I was free. The few times we took the bus from College she would break my shoes about going to Hillel and meeting a soul mate. I was a young man with
movie star looks. My pictures from that time are regularly mistaken for Tony Curtis. I was dating the UN and at times socialites. It was a crazy time and I was young and believed everything was possible. This girl up the block died in a car crash and it was my one and only time going to Hillel. I went to the procession and a young woman came in with a friend. There were sparks going everywhere and it was as if there was nobody else in the room. I remember my friend knowing in seconds "Beaks she just isn't interested in me". Oddly when I run into people from that time they always remeber her even if they met her once. I guess the deep love that bloomed in seconds was memorable.

I discounted that as a folly of my youth. I met Sunbeam and in minutes the connection was there. The previous time it was like a thnderstorm, but this time it was sweet and sunny and just as passionate.

I could not convey this to a friend who felt rejected angry and jealous. Over time she tried to pull me away from Sunbeam. She couldn't compette and it was never a contest. It turned very bitter and we haven't spoke in five months. For her the fact Sunbeam stirr't achieve ed my heart was racist. For me it was the logical completion of a dream. Love and hatred are illogical and at some level all of us are irrational.

Maybe there are dreams we can not reach and things that can't be explained.

The Sad Truth

I want to say dreams die hard. My vision of America is the big table where all of us are equal but different. We are free to think and pursue the questions of life as we see fit and are bound by a set of documents that unites us in a common vision based upon individual rights.

In the old days Bad Eagle was a magical place. There was something for everyone and many brilliant posters called the place home. There were the brilliant posts of the Hun, Kidst, Amil and many others. If you wanted a laugh the Gator, Mark Winters or Ajibik knew a great joke. There were many stand up people like Warren, TMW, Johny Mac, Raven, RN and many others. I look up and they are all gone.

When Mac was there the site was about ideas and information. Sadly it devolved into fratricide largely at the instigation of a Nazi and his psychotic troll.

Mac may be right that the place was always Stormfront Lite. The Hun has pointed out that once again Dr Y's writting turn up on a white power site. Now I know first hand that a few times things I have written have turned up in odd places. However, this racial based critique of Obama
is dead wrong and lends itself to White Power types. I want to believe in Dr Y as he is a friend. However, the racialist tone of the Obama posts can not be defended and I will not.

Even more insulting is the claim that the viscious behavior of Batty Ann is some type of cultural
norm. Sorry, but that is an insult to every loving Indian woman who epitomizes grace as she raises her children with love.

There are those who do not understand the big table. I always thought we shared that vision of America. We will promote that vision here.

I was out with Sunbeam and we had some funny moments. We were at a resturant and the waiter was confused. I ordered a Diet cola and she ordered coffee. It is usualy the woman who has the Diet Cola. I enjoyed my time with her and every moment is magical. She is the twinkle in my green eyes and the gleam in my dimpled smile.

Faith and Self Deecption

I want to start by pointing out all of us deceive ourselves at times. The truth is we live with standards and ideals and sometimes that which we believe in lets us down.

We have seen American apologists for Chavez knowingly lie about Chavez and FARC. We did not need the Bolshevik NYT to report this, but they did. The usual suspects will create a series of lies
necessary to further their cause. Most knew that the Rosenberg's were guilty but they fostered the lie for the cause.

I want to point out my own self deception. I consider Dr. Yeagley to be a personal friend as well as a good person. He has been subjected to a series of unfair attacks. However, there is no defense for the race based overtones in his criticism of Obama.

I want to point out the most influential comment was the critique of Pagan Temple. Pagan Temple does not know Yeagley or have any history there. The Pagan is independent, but thoroughly and unapologetically American. When the Pagan talks it became time to end my self deception.

I could somewhat discount my friend CM and Naiche's critique. This critique is an internal community thing although Naiche and CM do point to themes similar to my observation on race.
My hunch is that if the Dr's psychotic parasite stopped attacking them they would move on.

The critique of the Duck is typical. However, when the Duck calls a site crazy it comes with a cavaet. He posts at Renegade Eyes site that at times does post material that is off the wall. Ren is a typical Trotskyite talentless antisemite. One should read Walter Laqueur for information on Trotskyite antisemitism.

Similarly, the Editrix does have a history with Yeagley. Her fight was personal and one can somewhat discount it. However, when she points to some objectionable posts she is 100% correct and credible.

I wanted to believe the Doctor shared my vision of America. However, there is zero way to rationalize these anti Obama posts with charged racial overtones. I still consider the Dr to be a friend and a true friend tells one hard truths. These posts as well as the base antics of his insane parasitic developmentally disabled acolyte are inexcusable.

The Pagan is 100% correct. I keep waiting for my friends to return but other than Winters they are gone. Kidst and Amil rarely post much. Warren is more likely to be here or at Mr B's and hasn't been there in a year. What is left is not much of a community. Largely due to the antics of
Batty Ann the community is finnished.

The community died when it stopped posting about ideas and history. The begining of the end was when Mac left. Mac kept the "White Power freaks at Bay". I had my run ins with him, especially on the Amil matter. However, once he departed the quality and content of the site went into the toilet. It has devolved at times into Stormfront Lite.

I am guilty of wanting to believe in a friend when the facts dictated otherwise. Sometimes friends disagree on things and the recent Obama posts are objectionble. Yeagley has forgotten the American and Christian traditions of inclusiveness.

He is still my friend, but very wrong about some basic things.

Our American Vision

I want to talk of our America. It is a land of shared values bound by the wisdom of our founding fathers. We are not a people that share an ethnicity, we share values and ideals.

Our country was founded as a response to Monarchism. It was a grand experiment where the colonist sought to preserve and improve on existing right. The basis of our rights is on an individual
basis. We have these rights on the basis of our shared humanity.

The key concept to understanding America is intellectual freedom. Thus Mr Beamish and I may disagree on a policy or two but we understand that we both want the best for our country. This concept is the glue that binds all of us together in Amercanism.

My America does not have second class citizens. All of us must have equal opportunities and racial supremacy of any type is anathema to our shared values. I am frankly amazed at racial power kooks pretending they are more Christian or American than the rest of us. Sorry, but Mr Beamish, AOW, TMW and many fine Conservatives post here and none of them have ever supported any of this KKK nonesense. Christianity like Americanism is open to all who wish to join.

What does being an American mean to you? What is your vision?

I am preparing some tums in advance for the response of the Duck. Hopefully, it will have no obscure film references.

Many of the readers her have known me over five years. My bio is consistent and I have maintained a consistent set of ideas and a patriotic vision.The notion as promoted by Nazis and the insane that I am a far left radical is fairly comedic given bio as a Cold Warrior. The claims that I am a Gay activist or a secret homosexual are amusing to Justin and Rob. I am comfortable
with who I am and if I were Gay I would state so. Interestingly, AOW did talk with Sunbeam for a moment.

This rather insane woman has made the following claims

1) I am an Apache
2) I am Black
3) I renounced my Judaism
4) I am Gay
5) I sleep with any woman I can. ( 90% of guys do this. I respect my relationship with Sunbeam)
6) I am Mexican
7) I work for NYPD
8) I am a social worker

Perhaps the only things this deranged lunatic has not stated is that I seek amorous relationships
with the house plants. As the house plants are Cacti this would be a dangerous endeavor.

Being as hateful as our advesaries

I am saddened by the recent killings at a gay center in Israel. Israel is a place where violence is not unknown, but in general Jew does not kill Jew. Even if one is religiously inclined taking the law into ones hands is never called for. Sane religious types understand the concept of free will and let God handle these matters in time.

This type of criminal behavior is not typical of religious Jews who do follow the Torah literally, but understand what is for God to judge and the realm of man.

This is not about scripture. It is a criminal act committed by someone ignorant of our traditions and ways.

A post about 1%

There may be some who are perplexed as to why Obama is considered Black in the United States.
He was raised by a white mother from a very far left family. He claims his mother installed Kansas values in the campaign but his mother was a bug eyed far left activist.

Many African Americans are mixed race as the descendants of people that have lived in the USA for 300 years are apt to be. The topic of who is Black has been decided by the Civil rights community as anyone with any Black ancestry is Black.

The Nazi types also make a similar claims about Jews. People such as Stephen Schwartz, Jaime Glazov and Richard Poe are often named as Jews when in fact none of them have ever been Jews. The mere fact that one has a Jewish parent is enough for antisemites to obsess over.

I am disturbed over some of the racist criticism of Obama. It is okay to disagree with Obama for a variety of reasons over policy. I certainly disagree with his policies. However, I refuse to join forces with race based idiocy critiques of the democratically elected President. His policies are abysmal and his judgement is starting to make Carter look good. He is even more of an egomaniac than Clinton.

Leave me out of the mix when we criticize him due to his race. We are a nation of shared ideals and racism is anathema to those ideals.

Wrong Infereence by the Duck and a community post

The Duck as usual gets the story from Nigeria wrong. He points to the use of government force against a Muslim sect and gets the wrong message. Governments need to ensure the safety of its citizenry especially in a country with tribal and religious strife like Nigeria. One group's behavior threatened the stability of the country and the government took appropriate actions. It did not target every Mosque, just the ones affiliated with a sect responsible for the criminal riots.

The Editrix is largely correct in her comments. CM provides some history on the other aspects not observed by me. A community is a reflection of the people in the community. In our community the Duck states his views but there is a level of behavior that all understand. The Duck disagrees with around 99% of what I write. However, his contributions keep me sharp and this would be a boring place if we all agreed. The Duck and I have an odd friendship that has gone on since 2004.It is funny that when I do a radio interview the subject of the Duck comes up in passing.

This site is in no description anti Yeagley. I do understand he has upset some friends. We also have people who do post here who are not upset, but left for various reasons. I wish his site would return to the era where ideas and history were discussed. A certain person has never contributed to the intelectual debate on that site. Her role seems to be to make the Dr look ridiculous by fostering an attmosphere that at times resembles a hate site.

I also want to contrast the examples of some Conservatives and BE. When we read a Mr Beamish or AOW they are not fans of Obama. However, they discuss eroneous policies sans any talk of race. The issue of Obama is his dreadful plans to send the country in the wrong direction.
As a conservative it is illogical to attack a person's heritage as we discuss ideas and celebrate individualism. Blacks are part of the American family and they serve with distinction in all capacities. We do not attack family members for being different here, we note our differences state our opposition to the ideas and not the persons community. Ultimately the ideas are more important than Obama the person.

The Jihadist Next Door

The US needs to enforce existing laws against US citizens engaging in their own foreign policy. It is time to start enforcing this law on jihadis and commies who decide to participate as belligerents
in foreign affairs.

African Christians and Islam

When one talks of African Christians I am talking about people who arrive from Africa and practice
Christianity. Unlike Jesse Jackson or the insane out to Pasture Wright they have a less charitable view of Islam in general.

A look at the headlines from the violence in Nigeria shows why this is so. This violence also indicates why a Nigerian Anglican like Akinola would never make the remarks about Shariah that Rowan Williams made in the UK. Akinola is sadly familiar with what happens when Christians are placed under Shariah because it happened in his country Nigeria.

In general the world is much more complicated than cartoon communist or white power nuts imagine. The power of African Christians will change the face of many Churches. A racial power kook now is stuck in the paradox that the most conservative members of his Church are African.
Commies who lecture the world about voices from the third world suddenly want these African Christians to do what they are told.

Then again one needs to look at a prominent kook from the Bader Meinhoff gang to see how readily one moves from extreme left to right.

The news from Nigeria is sad and buried. It is important to note that the government appears to
have attempted to react responsibly to protect its citizens. It would be nicer to live in a world where such protection is not needed.

India builds a nuclear submarine

India has taken a huge step forward and built a nuclear submarine. India is a growing power that the US should align itself with for its economic and foreign policy future. It faces two enemies Pakistan and China ultimately an unstable China would be the more dangerous foe.

The World is Stranger than Kook Theorists

I am mildly amused when a fake "American Catholic Patriot" rails about Jewish Bolshevism and fails to see the specter of Liberation theology in his Church. Obviously, the venomously anti Israel far left kook clerics must be in a very convoluted plot. Then again any idiot who fails to comprehend that Christianity and racial supremacy are incongruous is a loon.

What is a racist nut supposed to think when the Conservatives in his Church are Africans. The truth is that the African Churches are typically more Conservative than the European ones. If you are a far left kook you might tell the Africans to shut up. If you are a white power kook you might want to think about packing it in or becoming a commie where you can at least spout Jewish conspiracies in peace.

What will be the response when some of these African Churches export polygamy to the States? It will be harder to dismiss than the standard Muslim and Mormon situation. Oddly, the Africans and the Mormons tend to be conservative.

The world is to complicated for cracker barrel one solution answers to life's mysteries.

Didn't Take So Long

The bloom is off Obama and his popularity is eroding. This is mostly due to the economy and I would sooner see a healthy economy no matter who is in office. He is starting to back track on the comments about profiling.

I have written about the difference between profiling and sound law enforcement.

Person X is from country Y that has a history of smuggling cigarettes to fund terror. With no other indicators if we were to extensively question him on the subject this would be profiling

Person W is also from country Y and has been convicted of cigarette smuggling. This person now fits an existing crime pattern and due diligence is warranted.

As a person who indeed was frequently pulled over it is annoying. I can empathize with both the officer and Gates. I remember being asked by a State Trooper if I had guns in my car or if I returned with large quantities of cigarettes. I was more embarrassed over the large quantities of ethnic food that were in the freezer chests. When one is frequently stopped it is indeed frustrating and annoying. Then again a small town cop looking to break up a drug ring is likely
looking in the wrong direction. The stop is also a vital way of finding out who is whom in a small
town. There were many drug busts where I lived, but in an odd way it was almost like a touch of home in VT. To a NYC type familiar with Washington Square Park in the Dinkins years there was a type of nostalgia.

Police in a small town will do things that are unthinkable in a large city. I remember a policw officer walking into a bar and pouring a pregnant womans drink on the floor. They put the woman in the car and took her home and laced into the bartender and owner later. A coworker who is a former NYC cop says they do that here, but I never saw anything like that. Women should not drink while pregnant but a big city cop would likely not be familiar enough with the community to make that call.

Some day but not very soon

I want to thank author Stephen Schwartz for showing me the other side of the coin. Most of us look at the conflicting images of Islam we see in the media or of the person down the block. We do like
Abdul when he is the smiling gas station owner, valued doctor or coworker. The lives of Americans are connected in a way that makes hatred of anyone for anything other than criminality Unamerican.

Of course in the media we get the loudest shrillest voices. So we are likely to see the terrorist or a waffling sort from a group like CAIR.

At some point in the future there is going to be an internal dialogue within Islam. Terrorism just doesn't accomplish anything and harms the lives of Muslims more than its enemies.

Some Notes

Comanche Moon is a friend from Bad Eagle. Several people here used to post there. I have never been mistreated by her in any way and she is welcome here.

I consider Dr Y to be a friend and I do not support attacks on him. I disagree with him on a few things as friends do.

As a friend to all parties I wish the fighting would stop. Lets say one does not like the Dr than merely support someone else. Nothing is gained by tearing him or anyone else down.

I really do miss the old days at Bad Eagle where one could marvel at the brilliant posts of the Editrix, Kidst, Mac, Amil, Warren and many others. One could just marvel at the brilliance in the posts and it did not matter if one agreed or disagreed the posts were informative. There were many humorists of note Mark Winters and the Gator.

Over time a sick deranged woman who openly calls herself a "racist" made it her personal mission to stir up trouble. Rather than accept that Dr Y could have other friends her mental illness, racism and spiteful nature have caused much damage to his name. Oddly, I see more anti comments about this lunatic than Dr Y.

Dr Y's error is a fundamental mistake in what America and Conservatism is about. One need look at this site to see many fine Conservatives. If one were to ask Mr Beamish, AOW or Warren
if racial supremacy and hatred of Jews is a Conservative value you would get a predictable response. I do not call myself a Conservative although I align myself with them very frequently.
It is okay to oppose Obama, but lets stick with his policies.

Appropriate Use for the Death Penalty

The American Muslim convert who was caught acting for Al Queda should be given the death penalty. The actions of this individual amount to treason against the state. This should have also been done with Bill Ayers and company.

Living in a democracy has certain responsibilities, such as do not blow up things. The system is open to peaceful political activity. Taking the law into your hands for political reasons is wrong, especially when acting in concert with a hostile foreign movement.

Unusual take on Profiling

I am not Black, but I can relate somewhat to what happened to Dr Gates and the Police. For a while I lived in Northern Vermont and suffered from DWN and LWN. The acronym is driving while New Yorker and Living while New Yorker.

In my brief stay in Vermont I was stopped or questioned by the police around 30 times. I have never been arrested so this level of scrutiny was uncalled for. The town I lived in had a big drug problem and naturally local law enforcement would tend to view this as exported from the big city as opposed to locals behaving badly.

It is frustrating and humiliating and I understand the feeling of Gates. I remember when I locked myself out of the apartment going to my car for my spare and getting questioned by police for hours. I remember giving a ride home to a friend who dropped a cigarette in the front. The police in the next car thought I was getting a sex act while driving. She had a good laugh, but road safety is no laughing matter. Secondly anyone who has seen the World According to GARP knows why that is a bad idea.

A good officer does not profile. I can not guess what goes through an officers mind. Hopefully, it is just one of those errors made by good officers rather than sloppy work. Of course the fact that one of the officers was Black leads me to think that Gates may have been touchy. It is not a good experience.

My time in Vermont made me sadly familiar with being stopped and questioned for no reason.
I remember one time being stopped in Essex Junction. A cop asked me what I was doing there?
I told them going to the local Chinese place. The cop asked me why. I told them JP's ( a local coffee shop) was closed and if it were open I would be there so I could get a decent meal and tip
a breath taking waitress whose name I forgot. The cop knew I was familiar with the area and asked about my plates and I told him the story. He did later see me at that waitress's station later and we laughed about it. I am amazed that I can not remember the waitress's name because her smile and charm were truly amazing.

RIP Gordon The Sound of Angels

I want to note the passing of Gordon Waller of Peter and Gordon fame. A contractor commented that my office sounds like the voices of angels.

I try to play lite music between interviews and prominent in the mix are Peter and Gordon. Their music is soothing and relaxing and created a good atmosphere. I also play Del Shannon and a few compilation tapes from the same era.

I still like the heavier sound when driving. There is nothing more worthy of the road than some AC
DC music and a caffeinated soda on a drive through the mountains.

Worth More Than Gold

Being an officer is a daunting task. Sometimes we have to say no to good people and yes to seedy ones. There are always managers who are like Jauvert at times and unpredictable applicants.

There are great moments that will stay with me for ever such as helping a woman who waited 28 years to get her status. When I told her I could fix her problems with a few simple steps she cried. I told her to wait for her attorneys bill and indeed did fix her problems.

A close second was a card I got from a very young woman whose husband was a graduate of a prestigious university. For reasons unknown ( likely a depressing job market) he became couch bound. He would sit on the couch with his cat on line while his poor wife worked 60 hours a week.
I spoke to the young man more as a man, but with empathy, than as an officer. I received the most wonderful thank you note from the woman who thanked me for saving their marriage.

Some people like the criminal work, others like complex legal issues and there are those who like happy endings. I have written quite a few, but my work often is the composition of new beginnings.

One day I will have to do an interview with Jams and discuss the work as only two officers can.
It will likely be a bore, but it will be a glimpse inside similar governmental positions in the UK and the USA.

The Future Is Not Etched In Stone

Obama was elected with very high hopes and no program other than saying hope and change. He wil not be able to deliver and will be a one term President. He more as a symbol and as a reaction to a series of bank failures than as a candidate. In the end he may very well make Jimmy Carter look good in comparison.

His popularity is sinking and much of that is natural. Lets look again in two months.

Obama is great unil you get sticker shock

A coworker came to me and had a short conversation. She was Haitian and took great pride in Obama as a symbol. However, she is now looking at her tax bill and the job market and shaking her head.

Some of the job losses are the business cycle. Obama however will make things much worse. His poll numbers are slipping fast and it is the economy that is driving those numbers down. He hasn't said much and presented an image of optimism.

I am starting to think he may get challenged in the Democratic primary if the economy doesn't get better.

A Sad Day

Long time readers will be saddened to learn that Rob and Justin have closed their blog due to philosophical differences. I consider Justin, Devon and Rob to all be friends who I sometimes agree with.

Some us forget that Rob is young and growing and at times is prone to the black white world of youth. As we age we understand life comes in shades of gray and there are no magic bullets. Rob was always my friend when he was gay, he remained my friend when he was ex gay and he remained my friend when he resumed being gay again. My friendship was for the person who was a good guy like the rest of us who could be prone to over the top rhetoric. There were a few times when we fought, but it never changed my overall view he was a decent guy. My big problems with him involved watching American Idol and rooting for the Detroit Lions.

Justin remains a person I deeply respect as a friend and for his military service. Long before there was don't ask don't tell he served with honor as a Chaplain. He remains a valued friend whose insights are valued. Politically Justin and I are somewhat similar except he is more cynical
and I am to paraphrase Nixon "a company man".

Sometimes we let the political nonesense take away from our friendships. They are welcomed here as valued friends.

An American Officer and a Jew

There are some bigots who think as a Jew I am forever foreign. I serve my country each and every day as a labor of love.

I took my oath of office to uphold the Constitution twice and I did swear. The second time was in a Chapel in GA and I had no reservations. I have been at government meetings in Churches. In my private life I have been to Churches, Mosques and Temples.

I am an officer charged with upholding the laws in the Constitution. My religious beliefs have no
impact in my application of the laws. Indeed there are times the law stinks, but I follow the law to the best of my ability.

My identity as a Jew and as an officer rarely if ever come into conflict. A typical example was when I was in training I had to attend classes on Saturday. Rather than make waves I did what needed to be done and did not ask about Kosher food. I was in a place where the nearest Jewish community was 20 miles a way and for much of that time had no transportation by design of the program.

The time was meant for officers to bond as a unit. We formed small social groups and I was a key member of one group. My ability to deal with different challenges as a NYC type and my life in VT made my abilities valuable to the group. Individually, I could have sought out the Jewish communities in my travels but my presence was needed on a group level. I did briefly talk with some folks from Chabad in LA and went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls privately in SD.

Sometimes we are tasked with making decisions we do not like or conflict with our morals and theological beliefs. A perfect illustration was the inner angst an officer felt when dealing with the toxic brew of young children and convicted pedophiles. The Adam Walsh law remedied that horror and every officer I spoke with had the same issue.

Our American traditions include Civil law and when possible reasonable accommodations for religious beliefs. If the laws were to be changed that Gay marriage were to be recognized my job would be to adapt to the new laws. Making laws is the job of legislatures and interpreting it is the job of judges. My task is to enforce existing laws and sometimes they stink, but it is my job.

RIP Walter Cronkite

People in their thirties likely have the same memories of the late Walter Cronkite that I do. He was
respected in a time when news anchors were trusted. His abuse of the position and disastrous reporting did more damage to public support for the Vietnam War than the self important peace clown protests. His coverage of Watergate ushered in an era where the Presidency was cheapened.

Dicrimination felt by Muslims

Obana has mentioned that Muslims feel discriminated against in the USA. The message is true, but a large portion of the blame falls on Muslim leadership. Rather than stand up and say that terrorism is counterproductive and harms the image of Islam it sends a message that waffles.

Sadly what the Muslim American community needs most is a leader like Stephen Schwartz, but he is seldom seen and quoted as the media looks for the shrillest voice to give good copy.

What the Muslim community in America needs to help its own image is vision. Islam in America may be different from the European variants. The expectation that work is expected and that one is just another flavor of America may blunt the radicalism seen in Europe.

One day I would love to see Stephen Schwartz answer the serious question if far left paternalistic
social safety nets that keep people at subsistence levels creates a fertile environment for radicalism. Gainfully employed people have little time for utopian idiocy of all types. However, the 7/7 bombers did not fit that mold. The European culture of alienation vs the more open form of inclusion in the USA must be examined.

The Downside of Baseball

I enjoy watching baseball. However, there is a dark side to our beloved national past time. The prices of tickets and food are so exorbitant regular working people can not enjoy a day at a MLB game without a second mortgage.

Another seldom discussed bit is the signings of young foreign amateurs who get hurt and discarded
without vocations and end up marrying locals without educational or vocational skills. MLB really does need to start some sort of illiteracy program in the minors. Few of these ball players reach the majors and MLB really does need to address this problem.

The tale of US ball players without educational skills is well known. I would love to read the story of baseballs foreign failures. At least the American failures often went to college or graduated high school. The foreign failures seldom speak English and may be illiterate or very poorly educated in their own language.

More of the same from the Guardian

The Guardian reports the allegations by some Israeli soldiers critical of the rules of engagement as a fact. Omitted, from the article is a series of missile attacks from civilian areas provoked the conflict in the first place.

This pattern of holding Arabs accountable for none of their actions while demanding Israel be held to standards of behavior placed on no other country is typical of the bias at that paper.

In comparison to the amount of provocations, Israel is more restrained than the Russians in Chechnya or the Sri Lankans

Obama Sinking

The popularity polls for Obama are sinking fast despite almost messianic slavish type of media coverage. A certain part of this is due to anger over the economy which has not improved much.
The President gets too much credit when things are good and too much blame when things are bad.

It is very early on in the Obama administration and my personal philosophy understands the business cycle. No doubt Obama's ham handed policies will exacerbate and prolong the economic downturn.

The midterm elections will be here before you know it and if conditions do not improve history indicates the GOP will pick up seats. It will be instructive to see if Democrats embrace or distance themselves from Obama if the economic woes continue. In a normal functioning party one could even expect a major primary challenge if these economic woes continue. Then again nobody should ever claim the Democrats are normal and well functioning.

India vs China

There are some recent articles in Indian Newspapers hinting that China is planning some aggressive action against India. The article points to the internal problems at home in China.

However, to put it bluntly India is by no means a soft target. China might not win the exchange as India has plenty of manpower and would also get aid from many allies including most of the West.
A more logical target would be a historical enemy like Vietnam that could not resist the overwhelming numbers.

The United States should be firming up its relationship with India to ensure its future. India is a key ally and a more logical trading partner than China. Improving our relations with India is vital to Americas long term interests.

Reading Surrender by Bruce Bawer

I am through with the first third of the book. Regular readers of our blog community will not find
much new at least through the first 80 pages.

The exception is the NYT hypocrisy on Imam Shata as some type of moderate. Of course, there are other groups that reject popular culture and have restrictive views on sex roles. Bawer raises a relevant question if a pastor had such anti gay views would they have been ignored. Then again the NYT did not mention a controversial Columbia MELAC scholar had made a few anti gay remarks of his own. The anti gay remarks of the absurd Leonard Jeffries also got swept under the rug.

Bawer is a gay person who decided to move from NYC to a more enlightened Europe and found Europe has its own issues. Oddly the far left which talks of Eurocentrism is the most Eurocentric
group in America.

Regressive Taxation

One of my pet peeves is regressive taxation. The far left forgets or does not care if their quest for gasoline taxes hurts rural folk. They also do not care that taxes on cigarettes and beer impact working folk.

Does anyone want to live in a nanny state. Maybe I am old fashioned, but I want government out of my refrigerator and out of my lunch box.

Who is an American

There are some really dreadful comments on the web from people who really think they own America. Sorry but stupid comments wanting to send all Blacks to Africa and Jews to Israel make one a baboon.

We have many fine Conservatives on this site and race is almost never discussed here. The reason is our American heritage values individual rights. Blacks have been here ever since the founding of our country. They are my brother and sister Americans and an affront on their rights is an affront to American ideals.

The odd part is a so called Catholic Italian claiming to be the Champion of racial supremacy. Catholics until recently were one of the targets of the KKK which also did not consider Italians white enough for their standards. This bigotry is even more odd considering so called Native Americans are mimicking it. I would point out these Indians are few in number and do not represent mainstream political thought amongst Indians or anywhere else.

Most of us know rabid dogs when we see them. When a person talks of Jewish conspiracies to rule the world they have identified themselves as insane.

The inane senile racial supremacist also proclaims himself a champion of the Catholic Church. He also should comprehend that according to his Church all who believe are equals and the Church has spent plenty of time converting non whites. Detecting A Chatroom Troll

Once again Rightminded was busted using other pen names to attack an opponent. Apparently, this
time we did not even need the great Mr Beamish to solve the crime.

The bad writing style and poorly defined bios were obvious. The fact that many at Yeagley's site allowed such a ruse to go on for so long was he played to their bigotries. He was more American, more Christian than his opponents. It was all fake.

When we exchange views with the Editrix, Pagan Temple or even the Duck we are dealing with a real person with a bio. If a person posts for a long period of time with no bio this is likely a fake.
We only have one brain and key phrases get repeated.

No doubt he is on the web pretending to be many people. He only fools those who wished to be fooled in the first place.

A quick clue about who is and is not a fake can be determined when seeing their interactions with
others. A quick check would have revealed that I have been interviewed several times on blog talk radio by a fellow New Yorker WC. We have also had a few Jews on this board as well and the interactions were in depth. Were I not from NYC I would not have been able to converse with WC or have been interviewed live without numerous errors. Moreover, I could not have shared common NYC things with Jason, Urban Infidel and WC.

Sadly, had Yeagley discussed this history with Rocco like I kept telling him this would have ended six months ago. The brain dead Batty Ann fell for the act hook line and sinker because the writings of the Nazi GMS confirmed her racist bigoted views. She is now even turning on her former ally.

A walk around town

I was in the local Jewish section of Brooklyn wondering about the timelessness of the place. It was
good to come back and see some of the young couples who could have been me at an earlier time.

I went to the local restaurant and was greeted with a smile.

We think of NYC as a huge place but in Sunbeam's locale with mom and pop stores and local communities it is often as small as St Albans VT. I am an outsider here except that when I am with her it is home.

I am picturing my future with her as I see some of the older couples. Some of them are interesting
and are very together after 50 years.

In such a small community one can literally see your past present and future in the faces of those around you.

I want to point to the unhinged critics of Dr Yeagley claiming his is an anti semite are way off base. Yeagley is a personal friend and a friend to the Jewish community. There are plenty of Jew haters at the site but Yeagley is not one of them.

The Curtain Comes Down

The Bad Eagle Forum Saga has wound to a close. The site is getting an upgrade to an IKON Board 3. The changes were necessitated by the antics of GMS and the BAG (Thundersky).

I want to point out I will defend Yeagley from all complaints of anti semitism. He has made some unfortunate comments about Blacks that I will not defend. The problem is that he wants to preserve his local community and wants to avoid inter marriage. However, in the larger American community intermarriage is a given.

The decline of the site occurred when a one time foil Mac left. Mac was a pain in the backside at times, but he kept the white power types at bay. These types and the mentally ill BAG have ruined what was once an amazing resource.

She moves me

Sunbeam met my older 1/2 sister. It was a wonderful time. My father is doing better even if he sleeps and watches TV at odd hours Billy Mays commercials. He walked around the block and looks better.

Things are well with Sunbeam. Holding her is like heaven to me.

We have a mature relationship in that she can tell me I am wrong an I listen. We discuss issues and
disagree. She is a bit more conservative than I am which is a first. Then again, the folks at work see
me as a liberal as well. I am still me but maybe the landscape around me has changed.

Despair in the Age of Obama

Many of us are disillusioned by the direction the country is going. We see ideas we disagree with being implemented and our liberties being eroded. Even as we search for glimmers of hope more of us are hurting in this down turn. It is too early to blame Obama and Presidents really get too much blame and credit for the economy as it is part of the business cycle.

In this despair some of us have become unglued. We seek a bogeyman for the malaise and despair.Some of us have over the top hatred for Obama, some blame the Jews and others turn to internal strife.

I am concerned some of us are rooting for the economy to fail so Obama will get the boot. I want to stress that I want to see the economy improve so that families can function. I might not like Obama, but for now I want to see America get back to work.

I also want to discuss feminism and the family based upon a uprising post by the editrix. I was always surprised when a strong articulate woman declared she was against feminism.

My dissent was that we have intimacy needs. Men and women need to bond and grow together
so that each might find emotional bliss. Feminism is a divisive unnatural ideology that denies the need for emotional intimacy. One can have all their individual needs met and still be empty.

Consumed by Hated

I find myself accused of being a Black Indian Mexican gay communist by some people who are obviously illiterate.

A bunch of white supremacists have set up shop at a site I comment on. The next thing I know is that these Nazi kook racial supremacists start calling me Unamerican and a traitor based upon my ethnicity. Next thing I know a Nazi starts to question my morality based upon my being a Edomite who supports gay marriage and abortion.

As stated since this blog opened I am a Rudy Republican. I was always and remain stridently anti communist. Any basic reading of my blog makes this obvious. I was a Cold Warrior who fought commies on their home turf my beloved NYC. My positions are fairly mainstream for a NYC Republican, but I am not nor have I ever labeled myself a Conservative.

I do not condone racial supremacy of any type and I am a relentless foe of white supremacists or their Black counter parts. This type of hatred is unamerican and is a violation the principles that founded this nation. When I point out the idiot that made these idiotic accusations got chopped to pieces by Mr Beamish who does not like Nazis it should give you a clue that this is no super patriot. People as diverse as The Merry Widow, Nanc and Rocco had this person tossed from the Autonomist for Nazi style rants.

The System is broken

I want to point out that our system of immigration is broken. It is broken by the endless cycles of appeals. Having cases go on for decades of appeals makes no sense. These appeals can literally go
on for decades and the only people who benefit from that are lawyers.

I respect due process. There are plenty of people with shady intentions and crooked people taking advantage of desperate people.

You want to be transparent and fair. Person X comes from country Y where documentation is lax.Is it fair to subject everyone from country Y to DNA testing? Or should it just be done for everyone in an age where fraudulent documents are high quality. Would requiring US Citizens
provide fingerprints and DNA samples that would be in law enforcement data bases deter some from fake marriages. It it an unlawful invasion of privacy.

These are questions to ponder as the debate on immigration moves forward.

Amusing Bio

There are some people on the web who really need to get a clue.

1) I am not Black. If I were I would gladly tell you as I would be proud of what I am. Black Americans serve in every area of the government and are my brother and sister Americans.

2) I do not write under any other pen names other than this one. I am not Naiche of Bad Eagle who was a friend. He is some sort of Indian who is allegedly in his 70's.

3) I am not gay. If I were I would gladly tell you. Justin and Rob are valued friends who I sometimes agree with.

4) I am a life long Republican and have never belonged to any other party.

5) I am not a Conservative and have described myself as a moderate and a nationalist.

6) I have never worked for NYPD and am still employed in the Federal Government in a law enforcement capacity.

7) I have not lived in Brooklyn for over 20 years.

8) I have no idea who Beverly Isaac is. I have never met or spoken to a person by that name.

The problem with the web is that pen names are not protected by libel and slander protections.
Thus a real name like Bob Smith of Houston TX is protected but a pen name like Beakerkin is not.

Real Problem Covering the Face in an interview

Readers of this blog know that the author does interview people from all over the world. It is important to be culturally competent. The question of face covering and testimony is mentioned on Front Page Magazine.

The situation did happen at work. I was prepared to interview as the facts in the case did not require tight scrutiny as the couple had two children. A supervisor stopped and had a female verify the identity while I departed the room.

The point raised is that observers are reading facial expressions and this becomes impossible with a face covering. I do appreciate the need to show respect for different cultures, but the judge has a point in this case. In general hats are not allowed unless they have a religious significance. I do ask Jewish applicants if the mind testifying with a yarmulke and it has never been an issue.

In some cases I have the luxury of asking an interpreter about local customs, cultural context or regional variations in documents. Mostly, it as simple as asking if a certain group lives on both sides of a border. Sometimes it is questioning if a person's accent is from the area they claim to be from or conducting small talk with the spouse to make 100% sure they are bilingual.

Patriotism

There is a certain element that thinks they own this country. This element screams from the top of
its lungs that it is more patriotic and Christian than the rest of you. In fact this element is neither Christian nor American.

My country's ideals are open to all who decide to believe. Any notion of racial supremacy is a mockery of the founding ideals of my country. Blacks are Americans who serve our nation in all capacities. The notion that they are not equal or that being Black is a detriment is Unamerican. I also will never tell a person who to love based upon anything other than character.

It is fine to dislike Obama's policies and Obama personally. There are many valid reasons for doing so. It is valid to point out he got 90% of the Black vote and would not have been elected without it.It is also valid to state that many whites voted for him out of a belief he could heal racial divisions. It is accurate to point to the slavish coverage in the media. It is not okay to focus on his race and rant that he is a tool of the Jews.

Understanding America from its Judeo Christian roots is fairly simple. The other day I went with
Sunbeam and met Jews of all types and description. I met Jews from Turkey, Morocco, Russia, Poland and of course the USA. There are plenty of young Chinese females adopted raised in Jewish homes that consider themselves Jewish. There are plenty of Black Jews from Ethiopia and some from mixed marriages and conversions. There are many different communities that range from reform to the Chasidic sects. Most shop in the same stores, eat in the same establishments and marry between the groups. The exceptions are some Chasidic groups marry
amongst themselves and the Syrians tend to do so as well.

The Jewish community is not unique. The vast majority of Christians understand that Christ is open to all who decide he is the savior. The notion that any group is excluded on the basis of race
is a mockery of Christianity. Any notion of racial supremacy is a mockery of the message of Jesus. We do have many devout Christians on this site who are genuine such as Junglemom, TMW, AOW, Zinla, Warren and many others. None of the commenters embrace a racial exclusionary form of Christ.

If America is to embody the Judeo Christian ideal than it must be open to all who embrace the concepts embodied in the Constitution. We can acknowledge racial differences, but those diffrences do not make people less American.

There are many out there who have a paranoid view that Jews/Zionists control America. There is almost a fundamentalist fervor amongst these false patriots that America needs to be rescued
from this element. This is not Conservatism and it is a mockery of conservative values. It is a paranoid form of mental illness masking itself as political thought. Oddly, these so called Conservatives readily repeat the lines of Communists and freely associate with them in common fronts.

The subject of homosexuality is one that the false patriot holier than crowd is obsessed by. Even in a religious Jewish context homosexuality is one of many sins. Included on the same list is adultery, masturbation and pre and extra marital sex. In reality we live in a country based on Civil law. Sexual behavior is a private matter that is within the bounds of personal liberty between consenting adults. I do not want a Saudi style government stoning masturabators or anyone else. We would also quickly have a country left with Pat Boone and around three other people.It is okay to be against gay marriage and have discomfort with the gay lifestyle. However, it is wrong to hate people for behavior that is private, consentual and to be blunt is not
anyone's business.

I value personal liberty and want government out of my bedroom and refrigerator. We are coming to an era where elites will decide to abuse the tax code and tax soda and likely soon potato chips. Government intrusion into our private lives is something that needs to be opposed.

Being Too Tough

My father is similar to me in many ways. Last week my mother went in for a heart procedure.
She was released with little fanfare. My father had no symptoms but went in for a similar test. He wasn't released and the operation was two days ago.

I saw him yesterday. He was alert and had his personality. He knew that I gave a relative in need way too much money to change my car battery. It would be nice if I saw my car, but Drummaster clearly knows the difference between 4 and 6 cylinders. He has lost weight and is trying to grow a beard. He has 90 credits in criminal justice and is doing well.

Sunbeam is truly special and offered to make the Shabos dinner. My mother joked that my cooking and driving are more dangerous than the heart procedure. Oddly, my father likes industrial food and swears by the kosher meal at the hospital. He was irritated that the TV coverage was 24/7 Michael Jackson. He was also aware of the Yankees score and Pinella telling Milton Bradley to get out of his uniform.

I am going to make a care package with Sunbeam to send to camp. A comic book, some chocolates and some very light reading should do the trick. Rav Roov's son is in Israel studying the Talmud. It seems to be his passion and he is a good kid. I wish this were another passion that

Amil Imani

Amil is a friend of mine. He is younger than I am and has grown as a person and writer. In the past we didn't always get along. However, I sensed a person who was learning to write and a first class thinker.

Amil found himself in a bad situation at bad Eagle. He is not a street brawler from the mean streets of NYC and said some regrettable things. He has not repeated the comments and has gone on to bigger and better things.

I had the pleasure of speaking with him briefly on AOW's radio show. He is very witty and articulate. I am somewhat jealous in that his foes put up a picture of him surrounded by three amazing looking women. His foes are really not too clever at all.

Odd Reading

I am reading the Lives of Hitlers Jewish soldiers. One should treat this book for what it is a rich collection of oral history. There is much color, but remember with all oral history there is a natural
tendency to justify yourself.

I find the description of the Finnish army to be amazing. Performing well against communists in battle is not difficult in that Communist armies are burdened by stupidity and reward political orthodoxy as opposed to merit. The description of the Finns as ruthless fighters who excelled in guerrilla warfare is surprising, especially coming from a from a Waffen SS veteran.

The stories are that of human nature. The policy of michlenge was not widely known and the book
promotes a discussion of a seldom discussed facet of the Holocaust.

When Great Sites Decline

I want to point out that the Editrix is largely correct. I want to point out some basic mistakes that can happen at any site.

A site needs to have a voice or a vision. Yet there also needs to be decorum.

There is also the question of how the person views Jews.

1) The author in question is clearly not an antisemite.
2) The author does have an odd opinion that successful non Jews have some secret Jewish heritage as conversos or tie to the community.

A recent example is a series of posts about Justice Sotomayor. A person who has grown up in NYC will undoubtedly have many Jewish friends and peers. This should come as zero surprise to people who live here. NYC is a special place where people mix freely. This may sound odd but I feel more comfortable in a Guyanese, Indian or Dominican Party in NYC than at parties in VT.
In NYC one is expected and encouraged to have such experiences.This familiarity was likely reinforced in college and in law school.

Does this familiarity or affinity infer that she is Jewish? No, it is just part of NYC life.

There are people like Sunbeam who seldom venture far from their community. However, there are plenty of people like myself who venture into other communities freely. Does my affinity
for the local Cuban, Guyanese and Dominican communities alter my identity. No, it merely enriches and makes my life more interesting.

The Doctor does understand the vibrant aspect of intellectual debate within our community. Within a household there may be a range of political and religious debates spanning all spectrums. There are brilliant people like my grandmother who was the rare Jewish Conservative of her era. There are those who just live life and let others ponder the larger questions as they raise children or work.

A Jew understands what it is like to be the outsider. Thus at work when a member of a foreign
culture arrives it is appropriate to respect the culture within reason. A small gesture such as understanding the basics of the religion or culture goes a long way. Many of us feel an affinity with those who are needlessly hated for being themselves. The very same people who rail against Blacks will often rail against Jews. Thus it is hardly surprising that when people are needlessly targeted for hate many Jews will empathize with a familiar experience.

When one has been wronged

I want to point out the difference between what has happened at Bad Eagle now or in past beefs

In short I can disagree with those types without being disagreeable. Mature friends, often disagree on plenty of matters. Nor is a reflexive distaste for the left, One can easily spot the difference between a laborite like Jams and an apologist for despotism like Renegade Spleen.

In this case, the Doctor is not in any definition an anti-semite. However, like Obama he fails to be able to distinguish reasonable people from arsonists. No amount of charm is going to change a died in the wool hard core Jooooo hater/white supremacist into a functioning adult. One is dealing with people whose view of reality is skewed by paranoia and insane obsessions.

Being Black and Jewish are not mutually exclusive, nor do I consider such claims or being called gay an insult. My reaction is you are sadly
mistaken and need to return to reality. She promised to bring three "Jewish friends" to replace my perspective. The funny part is her claim to have three friends in any group. Should these friends read her remarks and the stuff that she defends they would not be there long or turn on her very quickly. I typically ignore her as a fool who talks of me forming alliances with people whose names are unknown to me.

The second type is a former Vietnam Vet who proclaims stuff that is out of Stormfront such as jewish control of the media, government, Jews are Communists and oddly Jews promote homosexuality. I pointed out my record of anticommunism needs no defense. I do respect veterans of all types, but that does not insulate people like John Kerry, Ward Churchill or Charlie Rangel (Korea) from later irresponsible behavior with communists. The last case is a well known racial arsonist who has made a series of anti Jewish, racist and homophobic comments. This person is a super clown who seems to think Joooos have a monopoly on gays and communists. Anyone familiar with gays know they come in all races, ethnicities and religions. The claim that there are no Italian gays must be news to the fashion industry where they have worked for decades. Moreover, Romans who he oddly claims descent from were very familiar with all types of sexual deviance as well as finding rather interesting ways of feeding lions. Communism and Anarchism have a long history in Italy and claims that these are Jewish imports are insane.

There is no peace in my book for someone whose obsessions are very similar to the Holocaust museuem shooter. There is a limit to my patience and Neonazi style hatred is too much. An odd Yeltsin???

I remember when the former Soviet Union was in crisis and Yeltsin stood large. Now we have Putin who while not exactly an ally is less of a foe than the Soviets.

The Cry of Freedom

I am proud to call Amil Imani a friend. He is a true son of the enlightened Persian people. We tend to think of Iran in terms of the images we see. Hostage taking lunatics and Holocaust denying clowns.Persia has a history of tolerance that precedes the Islamic invasion.

I watched a You Tube video of Israelis allegedly beating a Code Pink activist. I didn't see any beating. This was clearly the case of a commie making a fake fall for the camera.

Israeli security should take a lesson from the French after WW 2. The French shaved the heads of female collaborators. Members of Code Pink, ISM and CPT should have their heads shaven and be deported.

Sorry, but Israel is under no obligation to let foreign agitators make a nuisance of themselves on their soil. Israel should deposit all of these commie clowns in North Korea.

Iran

One can admire the courage of the Persian people. However, this is going to end poorly. This is a power mad theocracy that does not care about human lives. Of course the people of Iran deserve better governance. Most people in the world deserve better governance.

Of course the usual clown Galloway found it necessary to slam the Iranian protesters. Perhaps they need to perform acts of terrorism and concoct a fake nationality and claim the regime is Jewish before he approves.

Owning a Blog

I want to point out the responsibility and problems of owning a blog or site. The problems at Bad Eagle highlight some of the problems.

I want to explain my version of the state of events. Bad Eagle was a wonderful place with many great posters. For reasons unknown, the site has attracted a series of hard core bigots focused mainly on Jews. Dr Yeagley is a friend to the Jewish community and tried to reason with this mind set. We have dealt with a series of Marxists and White Supremacists who ultimately got banned.

There is a hard core element that has portrayed his love of the Jewish community as being not Indian or a tool of the Jews. This is a classic anti semitic theme that dates back centuries.

1) An owner of a blog is judged by his words.

This is true of all blog owners.

2) A blog owner has a responsibility to State his own opinions differ from that of his commenters.

This is true of Yeagley or myself. When certain commenters disagreed with my views of gays I made my position clear as did Dr Yeagley.

3) When the bigotry persists over time choices have to be made.

Sadly, the over the top bigotry with Von Brunn style Nazi rants continued from two dolts followed by an old female shrew who think I am obligated to deal with this for days.

4) If you do not deal with bigotry people make their own choices.

This is a choice I made to leave a site where I hung my hat for a while. I decided to leave not because I dislike Yeagley. Rather, my choice was to spare him the if you object to crass Jew hatred you are not a real Indian or Conservative bit.

5) State your own vision.

I am Beakerkin, proud American patriot of Jewish extraction. I love this country where we are joined by common ideals. I am not the most religious, but to call me an atheist would be an error.
I bond with Sunbeam and my family at religiouss gatherings. I also admire true Christians who do not mix Marx or racial goonery into the words of the savior.

I am a New Yorker at home with other cultures and opinions. It is fun going to an event at the Guyanese or Dominican communities. It is a shared experience that doesn't detract from my own.

I believe in love and do not lecture others about where to find it. My love is Sunbeam. I will not point fingers at others who choose a partner from another religion or race. I will never hate gays or lesbians for being themselves. They have a right to live free from hatred just like the rest of us. I do not try to understand their choice, but rather I respect their personal liberty.

I believe in the big tent theory. You do not have to agree on everything, as there is room for most itellectual diversity. Intellectual diversity ends when your views endanger the liberty of others, so Marxists, Anarchists, Racial Power goons and those seeking Theocracy are outside my
tent.

We must never dehumanize anyone, because we can kill what is not human. We should only kill in self defense lest we become our enemies.

Evil does exist in the minds of men. The greatest way to combat it is to insist upon minimum individual rights. Racial power kooks, Commies and Jihadis will kill for their power, but we must demand minimum laws for all. Nobody should be above those standards. Conversely, Anarchy is
even as dangerous as a repressive police state.It would have a comedic factor topped only by Kim Jong Ill as well.

Leaving Home

The time has come for me to depart Bad Eagle. I want to point out I will be in touch with the Doctor and many of my friends via private mail. I still admire Dr Yeagley and respect him very much. That being said I have a very different vision of America. I am not a Conservative, I am a nationalistic moderate.

I am more at home here amongst my friends who for the most part share my vision. I do not have to explain my positions as they are well known. I am from the big tent theory. My vision of America is a nation of shared ideals united by a common vision. Racial supremacy and hating people based on the way they worship God or don't
is anathema to me. My vision is like Reagan's. We don't have to agree on everything except the free market and liberty it is an open door that excludes only those who are Marxist death cultists and jihadis.

In a way Yeagley is like Obama in his naivete. He thinks people consumed with hate can be reasoned with. This is not true as hatred of Jews amongst this crew is almost a missionary calling that is one part paranoia and two parts mental illness. Marxist clowns like Renegade Spleen and the Duck merely stoke this mania for political expediency. These so called super patriots have zero difficulty forming alliances with commies or even jihadis and yes taunting a crime victim for political expediency.

I grow angry with the concept as expressed by some that Yeagley is not his own man or a tool of the Jews for opposing Nazi style obsessive hate. In reality Indians should be very wary of any movement that devalues life. You can kill what you dehumanize, Indian history has plenty of examples of this. Yeagley is a good man and will remain a friend of mine. It is time for me to hang my hat in my
own home. Those of you who think I am totaly secular need to be reminded my brother and parents are Orthodox as is the woman ( Sunbeam) who I love with my heart and soul. I respect

Step into the light

I want to say that I have observed some disgusting things in my time on the web. Yet each and every day I see a new nadir.

The owner of sites are directly responsible for at minimum stating their own positions when hate or criminality raises its head. Those of you should be reminded of this when Nazis and Jew haters visit
Renegade Eye. You will note than Ren never says a critical word to the most rabid forms of Jew hatred and tosses them enough "red" meat.

The other day a formerly fine site was polluted with all types of hate. There were threats of violence directed at me as well as a steady stream of Von Brunn style Nazi rants. I can handle myself anywhere and can deal with that type of garbage.

What I can not and refuse to deal with is taunting rape victims. A real man shows compassion for women in this situation. Even in the Duke Rape case, our sympathies were towards the woman until the story fell apart. In this case there was zero reason to disbelieve the person. The person found solace in Christian forgiveness after a horrible crime. Yet the more Christian than thou crew ( not this one) mocked and taunted the woman. None of our regular people, including the Duck would have ever behaved in that manner. People as diverse as Mr. Beamish, TMW, Jams,
Justin, Warren, FJ and yes even the Duck would have shown a human face.

Hatred is a bottomless pit that consumes the soul. As humans, and especially as men, our job is to protect women and children. Most officers if properly trained will save rime victims first before giving chase to criminals. The over the top hatred has caused an unnatural human moral
rot. I am dismayed the owner of the site in question did not address the taunting of a rape victim.

At that point the perpetrators should be told to "Step into the light and rejoin humanity. You have reached the nadir of humanity and your moral center has been consumed with hate."

Boundless, Von Brunn style hatred eats away at the soul and erases our normal capacity for empathy.

A Different Type of Post on The Holocaust

I want to venture into the topic raised by the Editrix. There is an effort by some to trivialize or rationalize and minimize the Holocaust. We do get the kook deniers, but they are a loud vocal minority.

We need to begin with the notion of man itself. Man is capable of great good as well as great evil. The great evil does not come from nowhere, but is part and parcel of political power plays. This should not be taken as an endorsement of the anarchy imbecile fantasies. Rather, we need a logical starting point of individual rights granted to us on the basis of our common humanity.

What makes the Holocaust unique was mixture of a vile idea of eugenics. Eugenics is a backward idea created by junk science that is laughable. Genetic diversity is mankind's greatest gift and love is too rare a gift to be spoiled by science. There have been plenty of massacres before, but an industrial genocide backed by a kooky scientific idea is unique.

The history of far left movements using Jew hatred for populist appeal continues to this day. What makes the left wing variant unique is the cold calculating nexus of evil elements the left binds together with the glue of Jew hatred.

We really do not spend nearly enough time on the crimes of Communists and Jihadis. Thus we encounter people who try and rebrand a deadly philosophies as relevant. The average American
does spend some time on the crimes of colonialism and slavery. They spend zero time on the crimes of communists and Islamo colonialism.

Prisons are not designed to handle the needs of people pushing 90. Moreover, in this case a prison sentence and a long trial would grant a imbecile a platform he seeks. In this case it would be more prudent to have a competency trial and place this dimwit in a mental health facility for the remainder of his days.

Hatred of Christianity This is something again one is more apt to see on Ren's site from a far leftist like Graemeful Dead. It is not something one sees on the right. This as the Editrix says may be unique to America.

I want to point out that when I disagree with a Justin or Rob, they are Christians who disagree with an aspect or a segment. This is quite different from a person who sees Christianity as a Jewish plot.

We never see that here. Nor have I observed this on the American right. One can and does find this at Ren's site where he ignores the subject. He then wonders why people deduce he is an anti semite. Entryist alliances make strange bed fellows and anti semitism is a Trotskyite force multiplier in his case.

North Korea

Have the usual suspects commented on the treatment of journalists in North Korea. Once again

Will we survive the crisis

The truth is this is probably the worst crisis since the Great Depression. The truth is we do have to do something about ruanaway medical, educational and housing costs. The problem may be there is to much regulation without common sense.

What if we could build insurance tailored to clients needs. The problem is we have 50 different rules instead of one floor. In places like Vermont there is less competition and prices are sky high.Why not allow people to buy minimum coverage for catastrophic illness? They do not need aroma therapy or allergists, so why pay for it.

Families and young people are burdened by sky high educational costs. The cost of education needs to be reduced so that young families are not burdened with a second mortgage. Maybe the face of academic mediocrity and laziness should be Bill Ayers. Just how did he get his job and how many hours a week does he work. Sorry, but the soft sciences should be done by educators who work 40 hour work weeks with no sabbaticals. Also Communist goons do not have the right
to stick the public with featherbed jobs that are thin guises for political activism.

We also need a sane immigration policy that is vocational based. The policy would stop anchor babies and brides. The endless cycle of appeals needs to end. There must be genuine penalties for US citizens who commit fraud.

For the first time I saw a burst of commerce in Chinatown. It was so busy yesterday I thought I was in a time warp. It is not the Chinatown of the 80's as there are African pedlers, Pakistani food carts and your old Jewish jeweler.

It may have been a flash in the pan but after bad trips it was good to see a burst of commerce.

We place too much blame and credit on the President for the business cycle. Ironically 10,000 small business owners may have more impact on the economy than a governor. Helping the small business owner grow is the best way to fix the economy.

Obama is neither messiah nor anti Christ. He is a very mediocre political hack who got where he is with media connivance and many miraculous breaks. We will survive his bloated ego that makes Bill Clinton's look normal in comparison.

A funny day

I had to play softball for the first time in over ten years. An injury happened while I was watching.
I played short center field. I handled what I was supposed to even if my speed wasn't what it was.

I got up once with the game decided and probably had the world's shortest single. It traveled all of abot eight feet near the first base line. I also scored in the inning.

Lets just say I will not be doing this anytime soon.

What is going on in Australia

There have been stories of attacks on foreign students. Is this street crime or something far more sinister.

The number of Chinese students studying in Australia alone jumped out at me 130,000. It may be entirely possible that China has 500,000
students studying abroad.

Paradox of faith and values

If you believe abortion is murder ( I do not except late term) than the killing of the doctor is an act that can be rationalized. We kill terrorists to stop them from killing others. Yet the rationale is not the same because the Dr was performing a legal activity that will be performed by someone else.

It is okay to oppose abortion, but one can not oppose immorality with terrorism. That being said the vast majority of the pro life people are peaceful.

Abortion is a matter where it is a personal belief. Even though I am pro choice I respect the sincere views of the pro lifers.
