6 Copts want religious affiliation removed from national ID cards ,job applications etc so that Christians could not be identified and discriminated against.

9 Copts want an end to discrimination in job appointments and promotions.Very few Christians are appointed to key jobs as ministers, or government officials. At the present time there are no Christian Govenors,mayors,Chief of police,president of City Council or College Deans in Egypt.
10 Copts want and end to discrimination in government contolled school admissions against Christian Students. Very few Christian are admited to the police academy,military schools. 11 Copts want the Egyptian government to be serious about aprehending those who murder Copts and punish them to the full extent of the law and to compensate the victims of these crimes. No killers of of Copts have been sentenced to the same punishment as that of a killer og Muslims. 17 Copts want their history, language, and culture taught in schools and colleges where their sons and daughters attend.
18 Copts want to feel Mr. Mubarak is a President for bot Muslim and Copts. They want him to care for them and adress their concerns. 19 Copts want to be allowed to enroll in all schools which are publicaly funded such as Al Azhar University , police and military accademies without any restrictions. At

Absurdity on the Left
The Leftist visitors to this blog range from excellent and thought provoking Kafka Esq and the Chemist,witty and Humorous Hawke to useless Viper and Craig B. The Man with the 167 IQ is bigoted and illucid.
Viper and Craig have yet to raise a valid point or a fact that is incorrect. They cry
and whine about Fascism, Racism , Hypocrite, Liar and have yet to come up with a valid point. If you are going to charge someone with Racism lets see quotes. There is no Arab,Muslim or Palestinian race thus it is absurd to make such charges. Robert
Spencer's new book repeats the same facts in his new book.Serge Trifkovic, Alvin Schmidt, Bat Ye'or and Fred P Isaac all tell the same story .Secular Islam also says
things on their website I would not go near and they are all former Muslims. I guess
that only Jews have a right to be critical of their own . This is the illogic of the
man with the 167 IQ. Thus the people at Secular Islam or Arabs for Israel do not have the right to dissent.
There are things worse than being a Racist or a hater. Being a Communist or a left wing radical totalitarian is far worse. The Black book of Communism lists 100,000,000

Moreover if Socialist/Greens/ Communists/ Anarchist make up 10% of the population they should be 10% of the staff. The use of statistics to prove a numerical disparity is called adverse impact. If diversity of the student body is important than ideological diversity is crucial. What other industry has unanimous peer review for admission ? Tenure should also be abolished and be replaced with a Union type protection.
The commenter I feel the sorriest for is the hysterical Viper. He is so desperate to fit in with the left he is reduced to shrill attacks. His attacks never go near the main points of these posts . More Tolerance by the man with the 167 IQ
In his never ending attempt to spread his brand of tolerance the Recidivist has laced into Pope and Israel for the thousandth time. The Recidivist divides the world

1 A person who has "contempt for all organized religion " now wants to lecture Catholics on who should be a Saint. This is a matter that should be decided by Catholics themselves. However the man with the gufaw 167 IQ feels he should lecture
the Church , on what basis is he now a theologian.

of the Church. The Catholic Church has been fairly consistent in this policy

The Church teachings on Sex outside of wedlock are well established. This is not reflective of my views but it is Catholic policy.
4 Turns a blind eye to the repeated child sex abuse scandals to hit the Church around the world.
The problem was inexcusable but is being dealt with. There problem were local matters that were mishandled . The issue is being corrected and the Church has acknowledged and dealt with the problem. Laying this issue squarely on the Pope is not correct but he would have accepted that.
5 Actively protects abusers from the law and fights lawsuits from victims.
Every Union or association does the same exact thing when members are accused of misconduct. Does the Recidivist expect the Church to give away the store ? Recovered

Angry Liberals, Fox News and Tinfoil Hats
I am always amused at the Left complaining about talk radio or Fox News. These same people look perplexed when the right point out similar biases at the NYT or CBS. My take is simpler if you don't like something change the channel. Any media outlet has bias and that is the nature of the profession. " They should change their motto from
fair and Balanced ". They should do that after another network changes its motto from "news you can trust".
The anger at Fox News is typified by a blogger I respect the Chemist. Other than some( ahem) language issues he runs a superior blog and has a first rate mind. His blog
is contains sentiments similar to what I encountered in NYC at the RNC. The title of the Post says it all F-king Fox News. The post is about the substition of the word
Homicide Bomber from the original Suicide Bomber. This is a minor point and the News media uses language like this all the time. The term is more accurate in my opinion and in that of another poster Amicus Curaie. The Chemist see the substitution as an attempt to manipulate emotions.
The essential part is the emotional nature of the anger at FOX NEWS. The Chemist is a great guy but hardly unique. He is in fact better than most except for an odd remark about Van Sustren in a Swimsuit. She has a home spun interesting look that is
a refreshing change . In fairness there has been similar rage on the right at the media. However now that we have digital cable an the internet one has plenty of options for information. The blogosphere is a vital took at checking big Media arrogance. The CBS memogate fiasco was a blog driven story about Journalistic malfeasance. Blogs like this one and the Chemist are part of the new media.In many ways we are more Democratic as we are challenged by opposition. We have to defend our posts unless one is the person with a 167 IQ.
The Chemist and I see a different viewer of News. He sees a guilable misinformed vulerable consumer. I see a consumer than makes a choice every time that they select
a media outlet.The consumer is well aware of FOX slant and quite a few choose it for that reason. Conservatives should have their news outlets and Fox caters to that market. In fact I am surpised there aren't more conservative stations given that popularity breeds immitation.
Fox News presents the news in a fair manner in my opinion. I have zero idea of what
political leanings Laurie Dhue, Neil Cavuto , Rebecca Gomez or Heather Nauert are.
Brit Hume seems to lean right and is professional. Their panels are fairly balanced
and it employs a first class analysts such as Kondrake, Clift , Ginnzburg, Napalitano,Juan Williams, Barnes and Feraro. I wish that they still had my favorite Monica Crowley but she works on MSNBC.
Bill O'Rielly is more a populist with a swelled head than a true conservative. I stopped watching because the self promotion became excessive. He certainly leans right but is closer to the center than Mathews . Mathews is ruder and more abusive to guests the O Reilly but Zell Miller put him in his place. Ambushing Michelle Malkin was much easier as she does not have a temper. Had Mathews read the book in question he would not have asked Malkin the series of stupid questions. He has lowered the vollume since election day.
Hannity and Colmes makes an attempt a balance and always presents the other side. The Chemist is not a fan of Colmes who isn't a Liberal or isn't good at his job. Colmes is a classy articulate man who is not as combative as Hannity. Hannity is always well prepared and in control. This is in contast to Mathews who does not even read the book in question. The left doesn't care for Hannity who is seen as a bully.
He has a charming personality and if they think he is tough they should listen to the man behind Hannity on the radio. Levin takes no prisoners and is far tougher than Hannity.
Greta Van Sustren has a legal type show and has a first rate mind. She worked at CNN so I doubt she became a conservative overnight . Her show is more about the law and I have zero idea what her views are.
E.D. Hill worked at ABC and her skills on the morning show are better than Couric. She has a good sense of humor and can interview with the best. Rita Crosby is the most under rated talent in media. Her interviewing skills are the best on the Channel. When charged with runnig a forum she is better then anyone in the business.
Unfortunately, she gets the crime beat but durring the war she was in top form. Laurie Dhue is the most unfairly critiqued person on Fox but it is based on lookism.
She has run panels deftly and above average in interviewing skills. Rick Leventhal is a great correspondent and seems to be everywhere on the planet.

The left has to offer a vision and screaming voices push people away.The sad part is that the left does not even recognize a moderate. When I hear the dunces from the UK crying fascist
it makes me laugh. They have zero clue what real Americans think and congregate with other like minded folk. After the election I asked dozens of NYC leftists how many
Bush voters they knew other than myself. Nobody could name more than to and most had
a hard time naming one. The reason is obvious most Conservatives or moderates would do not want to deal with over the top anger.
When America sees the left it sees a spoiled self righteous child. Michael Moore, Answer , Code Pink, Chomsky and Lerner are despised by average Americans. A wise Liberal Kafkaesq pointed out Falwell and Robertson. However if you were to ask average Americans who would you rather have lunch with Moore or Robertson most would
choose Roberston. I would rather sit as a Jew in a Church than at a Peace protest. I
have been in Churches and never heard a negative or angry word. When I go to a peace
protest I hear nothing but anger and an eye opening amount of Jew hatred.

The Recidivist strikes again skirting bigotry
The man with the 167 IQ continues in his never ending daily rants targeted at one population group. This would be amusing if he did not think he was the paragon of morality. He is quick to condemn percieved biases against ethnicities when convenient, such as his claims of antimuslim , Arab & Palestinian content in this blog. Yet he recoils at the mere suggestion of anti- Jewish sentiments in his own blog. He reminds me of an old fashioned redneck on his porch talking about good black people ( his nieghbors) and thos evil negroes down the road. A redneck has no idea idea how absurd he or she looks. They ramble on every day often saying things like "I have a 167 IQ" to cover up their stupidity. In the case of the REcidivist this is impossible. It is a variation of a complaint I have made before (and no doubt keep on making) , but I was browsing through my niece's Cambridge Family Encyclopedia last night and noticed ....it was written up as an entirely Jewish event.

The price we pay for any freedom is that we must tolerate its excesses. Thus pornography , hate speech and ignorance are protected by this right. Cowardly Recidivist Proves Horowitz is right.Thanks
The left likes to talk about free speech and tollerance. My reference is to the totalitarian variety typified by the Recidivist. This is distinct from a mainstream
liberal as we both celebrate free speech. If you have an opinion have the courage to back it up. This is what is the basic core of a democracy rests on,
I find it odd that the Recidivist rails against Horowitz and the accademic bill of rights. His behavior clearly demonstrates why such a reform is needed. Speech codes and censorship are used by the left on colleges. Faculty much like the Recidivist want to present their versions unchallenged. This is not education but indoctrination
and an abuse of power. As far as the Cowardly Recidivist he owns his blog as I own this one. Yet I do not hide and welcome challenges to my points. There is zero need for censorship here as we can back our statements with fact. I do not need to frame an argument with no Palestinian propoganda. I have the historical facts and can back them up.
The problem is that the left can not make its case at times and is not used to a challenge. The Recidivist framed a disingenuous debate on the subject of a Palestinian ethnicity. He allows no Zionist Propoganda, No discussion of Islamic history or any other nationalities in a debate. He is not interested in facts or history because they are meaningless in his world. I think the PLO charter contains
numerous references to Palestinian Arabs and Arab unity clarify this issue . The Palestinians call themselves Arabs but the Recidivist knows more than the PLO charter.
An honest discussion of this issue requires looking at Islamic history, sociology and

I think the PLO charter contains
numerous references to Palestinian Arabs and Arab unity clarify this issue . The Palestinians call themselves Arabs but the Recidivist knows more than the PLO charter.
An honest discussion of this issue requires looking at Islamic history, sociology and
Sykes Picot. It is entirely relevant that the Arabs invaded and opressed a range of indigenous people. It is relevant that these indigenous minorities have their own language,religion and thousand year identity. The Arabs (Palestinians) lack all three and date back to 1964 in Egypt. If the Palestinians are generic Arabs then they have been used not by Israel but by their Arab bretheren as hockey pucks.

Revenge of the "wingnuts" take 2
I do want to thank the Recidivist on this part. The mania about the religious right is absurd. I have never understood it and still don't understand the obsession. Yet he posted a link. As a non Christian minority I do not feel threatened by the religious right. I have sat in all kinds of chuches and never once felt uncomfortable
or un welcome.

This is two parts as several schools have Islamic sensitivity training that crosses the line of tollerance. There are schools that have students pretend they are muslim for a day. We do not do this for any other relgion.
The persecution of religious minorities in Islamic Socities is a serious issue. The Recidivist does not adress this topic at all. When I tried to discuss it he called me a bigot. This must make Freedom House bigoted as well. Nor is the problem limited to Jews and Christians as Buddhists,Hindus,Zoroastrians,Sikh,Yezidis and animists have similar problems. That list is not comprehensive and I may have missed a few.

Where have I held Michael Moore up as paragons of virtue and speakers of great truth?I view both of them as circus acts who speak occaisional truths,but who are generally best ignored and viewed as poor entertainment. In Michael Moore's case I consider him amoral.
(My reference was to Moore as extreemists not as reflective of the Recidivist. If there was confusion I regret it . I am glad we agree on something and yes a broken clock is correct twice a day. Chomsky is being taught on college campuses and that is a major point of Horrowitz's contention nor is Chomsky alone.)

Unlike the Recidivist I will conceede a point. If I were a gay man these people would concern me. As a site that caters to a gay readership those people are ripe for lampooning. The annalysis of these issues listed show that some have merrit if looked at more closely. Most of those issues should be examined in greater depth. Everyone is entitled to dignity and respect but there are larger issues. Your right to respect should not mean denigration of others . This is two parts as several schools have Islamic sensitivity training that crosses the line of tollerance. There are schools that have students pretend they are muslim for a day. We do not do this for any other relgion.
The persecution of religious minorities in Islamic Socities is a serious issue. The Recidivist does not adress this topic at all. When I tried to discuss it he called me a bigot. This must make Freedom House bigoted as well. Nor is the problem limited to Jews and Christians as Buddhists,Hindus,Zoroastrians,Sikh,Yezidis and animists have similar problems. That list is not comprehensive and I may have missed a few.

You are taking the most strident voices and tring to pass it as mainstream. Although I am tempted by the Michael Moore traitor bit.
In a way you are guilty of doing the same thing you accuse Horrowitz of . The irony may be lost on you as humor does not seem to be your strong suit. Let it sink in and you might enjoy a laugh later.

The Recidivist was a good sport for the most part. He takes this way too seriously at times . If he would knock off the invectives this would make great reading. A good disagreement makes for a lively board.

If the Recidivist claims this is satire there is some basis for his claims. Not all those issues are black and white. I will give him credit on this one as it was an over reaction on my part to the Sharia quip. For this I appologize but the 9-11 sharia bit was over the top.)
Where have I held Michael Moore up as paragons of virtue and speakers of great truth?I view both of them as circus acts who speak occaisional truths,but who are generally best ignored and viewed as poor entertainment. In Michael Moore's case I consider him amoral.
(My reference was to Moore as extreemists not as reflective of the Recidivist. If there was confusion I regret it . I am glad we agree on something and yes a broken clock is correct twice a day. Chomsky is being taught on college campuses and that is a major point of Horrowitz's contention nor is Chomsky alone.)
As for me being guilty of what I accuse Horowitz of..at least I accuse on the basis of what he has said or put in writing....you just accuse on the basis of what you WANT me to have said-because in addopting your manner of misrepresentation, you are guilty of the same as David Horowitz (not only as well)
As for my sense of humor - given the fragility of your other claims today (and as ever) you will I am sure understand if I chose to take your comment with a pinch of salt that it deserves.

Unlike the Recidivist I will conceede a point. If I were a gay man these people would concern me. As a site that caters to a gay readership those people are ripe for lampooning. I may have over reacted on the heels of "All aboard , this is the 9:11 to Sharia Law ". Remember I am a WTC93 survivor and an eyewitness to 9-11. That remark was certainly uncalled for and unwise. I will apologize for my post here as a gentleman but the Recidivist should also withdraw the above post as sophomoric poetic license.
The annalysis of these issues listed show that some have merrit if looked at more closely. Most of those issues should be examined in greater depth. Everyone is entitled to dignity and respect but there are larger issues. Your right to respect should not mean denigration of others . That last point was not adressed to the Recidivist but a general rule.
The comments about organized religion in the comments section deserve a full post.We
would have to explore history , the nature of man, Sociology and a range of other
areas. I do note that the Recidivist was polite and respectful to the man not his position. It appears that sometimes he forgets that others do not share his opinion.
The Pope is an inpiratiration to millions and not all of them Catholic. I do not share his views on the Pope or organized religion as I am a fan of both.
