Screwy Louie is at it again. One really should not expect much from a loon whose brain has spent a lifetime in neutral. However, his latest rant at Obama on behalf of his friend Khadafy who he tried to seek cash from is low even by his nadir standards. Then again while Arabs were butchering and enslaving Blacks in Sudan, he was ranting about Jews as usual.
The Obama administration should find out if he has acquired any money from the Libyan madman and declare Farakhan an enemy agent. A nice investigation into the finances of Screwy Louie who should not be confused with the benign nephews of Donald Duck is warranted.
The claim that the bigotry of Farakhan and Pastor Wright is somehow acceptable because it addresses Black self help or has Marxist undertones in the case of Wright is in error. No doubt there are those who make similar idiotic claims about folks like Amren or the KKK. Neither group is socially acceptable.
Off to spend a weekend with my beloved family. I celebrated Phagua last week and found myself covered in dyes. My daughter in law is due to give birth any day now.
The daughter in law is the most functional of the adult relatives.

I'll be honest, when I heard Farrakan's rant, I heard a veiled death threat.
Why is it that Loony Tunes fringe right wing sites and Faux news are the only ones who pay attention to this idiot?
Pagan
Farakhan said some interesting words about Malcolm X shortly before he died that are forgotten.
Malcolm's widow certainly was not charitable.
Ducky
Chavez and Mandela are big fans of Khadafy. He is one of yours along with Farakhan.
Ducky-
What wrong, is Farrakhan an embarrassment to you?
Guess what? In the broader Islamic world, Farrakhan would be viewed as a "moderate" Muslim religious leader.
And you say he's what again?
An "idiot", you say?
One really should not expect much from a loon whose brain has spent a lifetime in neutral.
Good one.
BTW, I note this morning that Chavez is also making disapproving noises about the United States military moves against Libya.
Pagan Temple is correct: there is a death threat there in Farrakhan's rant.
Pagan, the nation of Islam is considered apostate by many Muslim leaders.
Once again I invite the right wing drama queens to step back and realize just how utterly ignorant fear has made them of all things Muslim.
Farrakhan is a senile old man who has a very, very limited following that only gets into the right wing consciousness when the likes of "Hot Chalk" Beck have a slow news day.
Let me be frank, Pagan. Like AOW, you simply don't have a freaking clue what Farrakhan's standing is in the Muslim world. He's a cult leader with no authority whatsoever. Malcolm was another story, and you saw what happened. Or maybe you weren't around.
Hey Beak, you dim witted paper pusher. What do you propose to do about Farrakhan, go to Chicago and picket the headquarters?
Let's have a sample of what moronic ideas you have to bring notoriety to this midget. Maybe you and Sprite can take a field trip and picket New York headquarters. Le us know what we should do.
Enemy Agents should register with the government and be subject to increased scrutiny by the government. If they are found to violate the law like the Christian Peace Teams and Code Pink they should be offered decade long jail terms or denaturalization and deportation as an alternative.
Let Chavez's agents live under Chavez. Let Farakhan live and die with Khadafy and his pal Pastor Wright should get on the same jet.
Duck,
Like AOW, you simply don't have a freaking clue what Farrakhan's standing is in the Muslim world. He's a cult leader with no authority whatsoever.
Ahem. I've never maintained that Farrakhan adheres to the real Islam. NOI indeed has no standing with the Arab-Muslim world. Arabs are notoriously racist in their hatred of black Africans.
Ducky-I know he's considered apostate, but that's because of specific things that are unique to the Nation of Islam, things like separatist policies, black racialism to the point, arguably, of black racial superiority, etc.
Otherwise, if you look at just the everyday ins and outs of what Farrakhan believes and preaches, he would be considered a moderate. For example, he doesn't go around openly propagating terrorism, or female circumcision, honor killings, adoption of shariah law, etc. If you look at him and what he preaches and stands for, aside from the racial issues, he is quite moderate, as a Muslim. That's the point.
And, as a moderate, more mainstream Muslim, he too supports the spread of Islam and its ultimate goal of hegemony, he supports the Palestinians, he is anti-Israeli to the point of being anti-Semitic in addition to anti-Zionist, all the things a "good Muslim" believes in.
He is, in almost every relevant detail, one of those moderate Muslims you are always going on about.
Take heart though, I do agree with you in one detail. He is indeed an "idiot".
"He's a cult leader with no authority whatsoever."
Maybe that is true, but then Shiites feel that way about Sunnis and vice versa. Each group has its own very virulent strains of sects. Shiites and Sunnis will kill each other in the name of the faith, members of both groups have and do kill non-Muslims with equal vigor. So its not a question of lack of authority, or cultish behavior. Its' a question of how these groups can impact society and civilization.
Farrakhan does influence a significant minority of the black population. They also do a lot of recruitment in prisons. Farrakhan has received money from leaders like Gaddafy, been in Jeremiah Wright's church (where Obama sat for 20 years but didn't hear anything)and his wife Khadijah has been at the same soirees as Michele Obama and had their photos snapped together. Farrakahn has partnered with New Black Panther Party leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, Al Sharpton, Addis Daniel, Father Plegfer in the million man march and other activist endeavors. And he remains clouded by the events surrounding the assassination of Malcolm X.
No, Calypso Louie is not the 'big fish' in the pond, but he certainly merits scrutiny.
