Our President Candidate of Choice was introduced on AOW's show with intro music Sweet Home Alabama. Warren will apparently be introduced with Dirty Deeds as the buffer music. I will allow the readers of this blog to pick my theme music.
1 The theme from Kojak. I loved the show but wished Savalas would toss the picture of Mao out the window. It is a classic NYC series.
2 The A Team theme a salute to my combative style of showmanship.
3 "Now you are messing with a son of a B576%&^&*(Beaker)" by AC DC another tribute to my feistyness.
4 Yes We Have No Banannas by Jimmy Durante a tribute to the frequent humor
5 The Theme from the Searchers For those who view ne as relentless
You may also enter your own idea.
I will add Beakerkins top ten NYC based TV shows
1 The Odd Couple better than the movie
2 All in the Family
3 Friends
4 Seinfeld " I hate Jerry, but the rest of the cast rocks"
5 Kojak
6 McCloud
7 The Honeymooners
8 Welcome Back Kotter
9 Different Strokes
1o The Jeffersons
Honorable mention
1 Dear John
2 Taxi
3 Head of the Class
4 Law and Order
5 Spin City

New York State of Mind?
Seems to be your prefered State of mind!
It's not AC/DC. "Now your messing with a son of a bitch" is the chorus of "Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth.
Trust me, I know my cowbell.
Out of that list, I cast my vote for the Theme from the A Team.
But I like the Durante one too.
So, Beak, when do we book you for your next interview?
Mr B
I stand corrected.
Z
I am glad to be home.
AOW
I don't know how yes we have no Banannas would go over as theme music.
War Pigs by Black Sabbath...
AC/DC Big Gun?
(note - badnyy was the word verification for this post)
The Beautiful People...
I can provide the .mp3 file for just about any of the songs named above, including the A-Team theme.
A-Team or Kojak. But if I chose my music it'd be some bubble-gum euro music from some cheesy group over the pond. LOL!
It seems the A Team theme is the favorite.
why do people ALWAYS forget the VERY BEST program that EVER hit the airwaves?
barney miller?
*#[
what the hell is the a-team music?
Yeah, the A-team theme song would be my choice too. Now Head of the Class had some good episodes. The redhead chick was so hawt.
Personally, I think the theme from 'Rocky' is a contendah...
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
tmw
The A-Team music
Something pleasant. How about the Route 66 theme song?
.... but if it has to be a NYC based show how about the theme song from Naked City?
I love thed a-team, I pitty the fool who don't!
Ducky
It doesn't have to be a NYC based show.
TMW
The theme of Rocky is Well used by my hero radio host Bob Grant. I did think about that but it should be left to Grant.
Nanc
Barney Miller is a classic show that is well loved by NYPD cops.
Russet
I do remember the redhead and Mike Tyson's ex-wife.
You should pick your favorite, but Holiday in Cambodia is sooooo anti-Communist!
AOW..thanks for the music. I had NO idea what the theme was.
hey, Beak...how's about the theme to LEAVE IT TO BEAKER? whistled?
sorryt!!
Ah, the A-Team, back when every teenage boy in America was eager to see guerilla warfare go according to Hannibal's plan so nobody got so much as a powder burn.
I can remember the cheesy violence of the A-Team show being dubbed "controversial" at the time.
How about the Johnny Rivers theme song from "Secret Agent" one of the best.
The theme music to "The Saint" with Roger Moore was very good also.
Mission Impossible
Hawaii Five-O
Twilight Zone (perfect for your site, Beak. Absolutely perfect) If you didn't like it then The X Files.
Miami Vice
....go real old school Peter Gunn
Another theme for the days when you aren't lucid -- The Match Game or even Leave It to Beaver.
...don't take Spongebob, Beamish wants that one.
Z
I did think of that but I am too combative for cute and cuddly music.
Ducky
Something is wrong with me in that I considered all the themes he mentioned.
Hawaii 5-0 was a bit too serious.
Mission Impossible did not have enough camp.
The music from the Saint was my original choice. However, the Saint is a debonair rouge who blurs the lines between wrong and right.
The campy gung ho A- Team works best. Surprisingly nobody picked the music from the Searchers. That intro would have fit my Vermont posts very well.
'Au fond du temple saint' from Bizet's Les Pecheurs des Perles.
spin city > friends
also, 'the equalizer' was a bitchin show thats not even on here.
