The Beak is home

I made it back home with minor misadventures. 400 plus miles and only minor misadventues. The trip was fun until I got past Albany and Upstate radio stinks.
NPR and country music stink.

    drew,

Get a life buddy. Where do you think all those billions for "Homeland Security" are going? It isn't going to the librarians to look up your book reading habits. It's going to police and fire departments nation-wide...the "first responders".

  2. FJ,
Agreeing that Drew needs to get a life, you might not be aware that he is our "official troll". His sterling wit shows through his thin veneer of leftism.... Well, we hope it does.

Once again, Drew shows the ignorance of the left in an artistic trollish manner. Even going so far as to provide us with a literary metaphor and example of the, "echo chamber", of leftist "opinion" through his double post.

Thanks for the double post, Drew, we couldn't ask for more from our official troll.

    LOL

Your description curiously sounds like the infamous 167.

The fact that it is unrelated to the post is merely trivial.

  5. Now you’ve gone to far, beak: Country Music sucks? We hereby sentence you to 40 hours of viewing Urban Cowboy for sensitivity training. Wait, hold on, … I’ve just been informed that do to the overwhelming number of white guys in Country Music, it is permissible to spout venom towards the genre.

Seriously, I have nothing against Country Music – it’s pleasant although I’m no aficionado. I think if you grow up in a Red State or spend time in the military you develop a taste for the genre. Old New Yorkers like us might be handicapped in this regard.

    drew,

A simple question for you bud. If modern conservatism represents a "polemical ideology", doesn't that necessarily imply that there is an "another" end to that "pole"?

And if so, what does THAT say about "modern progresivism"? Just curious what you see when YOU look in the mirror.

  8. Geez
Jason, what kind of a inhuman #$%$ are you?

40 hours of viewing Urban Cowboy? I'd rather be a black Jew wearing a priests collar and carrying a "death to honkies" sign at a KKK rally!
