New Format

I have decided to change my content and format to a less interactive and ratings driven style. I have not been happy with the direction of this blog. Most of the time the posts that you see were fun to create. In the creation of a high profile site I attracted some unwanted attention.

The new format will consist entirely of book serialization. There will be no more current events, WWE posts, satire, roasts or interviews. Those of you that seek those type of posts will have to go elsewhere.

I have enjoyed spending time with you, but the time has come to move in a new direction.

There is no other place to go. You're unique, beak.

But do what you want to do. That's what bloggings all about.

What ever your reasons for this change are yours to do as you please. However, if you are doing it because you attracted some unwanted attention then I would have to say your are erring by giving those attentions un-due creedance.

You have created a great site and you said you enjoyed doing it so why change it just because perhaps some do not like yours and others opinions.

You must do what you feel is right and I will as I know others will miss the old site and the old Beak.

Good luck in your new directions hope it works for you. I will stop by from time to time to see your serializations.

  3. Beak,
I'll be stopping by every day to see the serializations. I'll likely be adding to my reading list!

This was a good site and I had a blast. The time has come for me to
    build something different.

  6. What kind of direction do you mean Beaker? Interviews and roasts were always fun. I guess change if you must--but we still enjoy your rantings all the time. I do anyways.

You will see me at Donal's and a few others. I thank you for the compliments. Most of the time it has been great fun. 99% of the people that come here are great people. I enjoyed entertaining and providing a lively fast paced site.

The time has come for a site that is lower profile.

There will be no more ranting from me. You will have to do the interviews from now on. Your skill has improved and I can think of no person more suited to the task. When doing interviews always remember start with quality people.

Others like AC and yourself are more doing quite well at providing lively sites. Some days I read AC
and it reminds me of the old days. I notice the correct spellings and
    wake up.

  8. Ewwww.

It's okay though. I probably wasn't going to get elected President anyway.

  10. The new format is not designed to be entertaining. Any entertainment found in the new format is strictly an accident.

  11. I don't get it beak, but hey it's your blog. If you're tired of us just say so. (wink)

I am not tired of you or anyone. I am limited in what I can say.

The entire problem is one of those Farmer John issues.

In a nutshell and being vauge.

The question is do actions have consequences? Is the road to redemption meaningless unless the consequences of those actions are addressed?

The Farmer is much better suited to these matters than I am.

Mr B as President of a book club is an great idea.

  14. Did Farmer John talk you into this Beak?

I will make it more specific. I had a falling out with the community over a philosphical issue. There are those that see things differently than I do.

Rather than continue fighting I decided to walk away. The Farmer has absolutely nothing to do with this. The farmer is a great friend.

TMW and Donal can provide an explanation off line. I want to stress neither of them had a thing to do with this.

There are times friends no longer share the same vision.

Nobody has done a better job than you of saying what I would like to say in places I departed. You irritated the right person in your rounds. You might even do it better
    than I do.

I want you to understand the realities of our community. Everytime you get a joint email you risk that one of the idiots won't go off the deep end.

Well one of the idiots went off the deep end and attempted to blackmail me. The powers that be have decided to bring this person into our community. This person has never applogized and I am sick of lectures about forgiveness. It isn't funny when it happens to you.
This person is not the one you use as a comedic prop, its his Israeli pal.

  18. Ok, could someone, somewhere PLEASE tell me what all this stuff is about "the community"? Who is in it? Who is out? What are the rules for membership? Yes, I'm being slightly facetious, but all of a sudden people start talking about "the community" as if it had always been in existence. Actually I find the concept kind of frightening. Where I live, most "communities" are gated, and sometimes the word is a euphemism for the asylum.

The nucleus of this blog community is basically Warren, I helped a tad. The key members are mostly ex Moonbat Central expatriates like yourself. We brought in wonderful people like AOW, TMW and some FPM people joined as well.

There has been a disagreement in the ranks and I have decided to depart. The affairs of this community are no longer a concern.

I will be on very few blogs going forward AOW, Jason's, Mark Alexander, Donal and a few others.

The community will continue to prosper under Warren's guidance.
There comes a time when people have to move on. It is time for me to take my leave.

Your analogy of an assylum is 100%
not too far off. We have added the criminally insane and this community is no longer something I wish to be a part of.
