Doubting Thomas didn't stay that way and went the farthest from home to spread Christianity.
And considering everything the Assyrian Christians have gone through over the last 2 millenia, and stayed faithful to Jesus, it is an inspiration to stand in hard times!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

tmwThe Merry Widowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07931051881434050901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11044955.post-85146980357797967942007-03-03T16:52:00.000-05:002007-03-03T16:52:00.000-05:00I sm aware of the sites you mention as well as AIN...I sm aware of the sites you mention as well as AINA. The closest I have come to a book about modern Assyrians are the writtings of Fred Issac.

This site has always been one of the few that speaks out in favor of the Assyrian Christians. My contact with this community is from Indian converts. Oddly, few people are aware that Christianity in India predates the colonial period. I am quite ammused by the arrogance and ignorance of those who assume otherwise.beakerkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06088967209404588378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11044955.post-67288275068538739092007-03-03T16:31:00.000-05:002007-03-03T16:31:00.000-05:00There are many books on the history of the Assyria...There are many books on the history of the Assyrians but un fortunately there aren't many books which deal with the history of modern Assyrians.

There are however some researchers who have been writing about the Assyrians (the indigenous people of what is today known as Iraq)and amongst those researchers there are those who are fair and those who aren't.

The following are some Assyrian websites which deal with today's issues concerning Assyrians, hopefully they will give you a chance to know more about who the indigenous Assyrians are and what their Cause is and for how long they have been suffering without being able to have their own homeland back or at least have a part of it back being one of the most ancient peoples of this world of ours.

www.ana-ashur.com

www.zindamagazine.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11044955.post-85797842471291953302007-03-03T12:21:00.000-05:002007-03-03T12:21:00.000-05:00Ducky my reading list is far more well rounded tha...Ducky my reading list is far more well rounded than yours.
