Thank you for...Native Americans were NOT passive!

Thank you for that last paragraph! Nor were they any more Savage than the Euros that landed. In fact, the euros' actions brought out the savage in the Indians. I know we Comanche were here on the Plains of Okla., not the Eastern Tribes, but I love to read their History too. I wonder if all Federal Recognized Tribes have inner Bands as the Comanche? Its said we have thirteen, but depends on whom you speak to. My Father was the Peneteka and Mothers was Yamprika, some were actually peaceful and others Warlike. The Peneteka were a peaceful Band!

I know you will find interesting info, but remember....its not always factual even in a Museum!

Comanche Elders toured the WITT Museum in San Antonio. Nice collection of Indian History, yet they got some Lipan Apaches and Comanche History mixed, its all interesting though.

Remember the Christians tried to tame the "blank, blank" savage Indians, so that might be a good place to check......Christian places...don't hold back, lets hear what all they have to say about the Indians!CMnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11044955.post-49454584113613847692010-05-12T08:59:54.658-05:002010-05-12T08:59:54.658-05:00All sides had heroes, ordinary opportunists, rouge...All sides had heroes, ordinary opportunists, rouges and just ordinary people farming or practicing a craft.

-----------------

At least there were no rogues.Ducky's herehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14608115001116619877noreply@blogger.com
