The dreaded evil Cowboys are home for the holidays

I want to point out the difference between Tony Romo and Tiki Barber. Tony Romo did rescue the season for the Cowboys. Sadly his miscue on a field goal ended the season
and he took full responsability for his error. Tony Romo is a class individual and a credit to the NFL. It is our loss that he plays for a low class franchise.

Tiki Barber is a lowlife who is an attention whore. His three year fumbling problem cost the Giants many games. Jim Fassel arguably lost his job as a direct result of his refusal to deal with this problem. Coach Coughlin for whatever other problem exist has reduced the fumblitis. Unlike Romo Barber was the excuse man week after week with a new twisted logic for his failures. Management to its great shame never gave Ron Dayne any chance and Fassel played with Dayne's head the entire time he was in NYC. Barber is a suck up and all of us that work recognize the person that makes excuses for failures and takes far to much credit when things go well. Barber's latest idiocies included an attention grabing retirement talk in the middle of a season that coincided with he Giants tailspin. Barber was quick to criticize coach Coughlin's play calling durring the skid. If anything Barber should be kissing the behind of Coughlin for curing his fumblitis.

In short Romo has proven himself to be a real man and a class act something Tiki Barber never was.

I can't root for the Cowboys...I'm a Steelers fan and well anytime the "America's team" loses it's okay with me.

I don't care whose fault it is.

Tony Romo is a class act playing for a classless organization. That being said Parcels did an excellent job and will find a way to get rid of TO. Parcels would not have put up with the ego maniacal Tiki diva act and 1001 excuses or the idiocy of Shockey.

Coughlin has done a decent job but he inhereted a bunch of ego maniacs
and a wet blanket at QB. He will sink or swim with Eli the wet blanket for better or worse.

Romo's a good guy, but man that botched snap was just heartbreaking. I really thought the Pokes were going to pull it out.

They should have a great season in '07 though...I hope Parcells comes back.

Romo took responsability and did not make excuses. This is because he is a class act.

Tiki Barber has made a career of screwing up crying for the camera and then shifting the blame or one of his 1001 excuses. Congrats he saved the Giants last week. This is after he single handedly ruined three seasons with fumblitis.

Romo is the anti-Barber.

Beak be hatin' on Barber too much.

I remember the Cowboys of yesteryear, then they were a class act, but then, their head coach was a Christian Gentleman. He never yelled, never cussed and the players were a better behaved bunch!
Now athletic "stars" have developed a sense of entitlement, they commit crimes, behave outrageously, and get away with it! They are the new gladiators, and we are Rome!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Though there are a few class acts left.

San Deigo all the way.

Yeah I know that is heresy for a Dallasite but hey I am not nor have I ever been politically correct. Elemer perhaps the use of Americas team (the cowboys) has more ramifications than we think.

The decline of the Cowboys came with new ownership. Michael Irvin and Emmit Smith were lowlifes that showboated after routine plays. These lowlife were a reflection of their coach Jimmy Johnson whose run at Miami set the tone for the thug culture in the NFL.

Mr Beamish 47 fumbles in 48 games and the idiotic pictures of Tiki's fake tears on camera is too much. He was codled by a coach who abused and played head games with Ron Dayne for no reason. Coach Fassel never gave rhyme or reason and his refusal to deal with Tiki's problems killed three seasons and his career.

Unlike Romo who owned up to his mistakes Tiki is the master of 1001
excuses. Sorry but the song and dance gets old after a three fumble performance.

I would rather lose all sixteen games than endure this fake act any longer. Tiki Barber is an ego centered lowlife. He has never given Coach Coughlin any credit for rescuing his career.

Coughlin should return next year and will have one less diva to deal with.

I watch Tiki Barber tear up the Redskins D the other day.

Yeah, you can say "well anybody can do that" but I think a lot of Giants fans all going to miss him next year.

The team that is in trouble is the Colts. Eight of their players are up for free agency, and they've got a $3.5 million salary cap. It's doubtful they'll keep most of those free agents. They'll probably be looking under the couch cushions to come up with the grip for their first round draft pick.

'Sides, the Colts are going to choke in the playoffs. They always do.

And we're going to have one of the most exciting Super Bowls in a while this year. Chargers vs. Bears woohoo!

At least, that's my prediction. Watch out for them upset-pullin' Saints though.

Mr Beamish

After enduring three years of this fake Tiki diva act I would welcome an 0-16 season so long as it is Tiki Free. This fake crying and repeated excuses for an unprecedented fumbling problems is too much.

There are good people in the NFL like Joe Gibbs and Dick Vermiel. Even Bill Parcels has his moments but this fake diva act is worse than enduring TO who at least leaves after one season.

Even the Harlem Globtrotters lost a few times.

I think the Washington Generals won and the fans were fuming.
